Obama Says He’s Just Like Reagan – Here are the Top Five Reasons He Doesn’t Even Come Close

The Democrat-media complex is working overtime to paint Barack Obama’s time in office as a success. The administration is even trying to convince Americans that Obama is just like Ronald Reagan. Obama said so himself earlier this month. The far left president said he thinks he’s led a new Reagan revolution.
1 Reagan took down the Iron Wall – Obama created ISIS
Who can forget Reagan saying to the Russians: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall”? Reagan is credited with defeating Communism. Obama on the other hand promised to remove troops from Iraq. As a result Obama created ISIS and now denies it was his idea to remove troops from Iraq in the first place.
2 Reagan grew GDP – Obama Stalled GDP
Trickle Down Economics vs Trickle Down Socialism
Ronald Reagan’s economic plan saw GDP surge at a 3.5% clip – 4.9% after the recession. That’s a 32% bump.
During the Obama years, thanks to his big government policies, the US economy has stalled. The US economy has grown an anemic 9.6% during the Obama years (excluding the decline in GDP in the 1st Quarter of 2015).
3 Reagan Dealt with Iran – Iran Dealt with Obama
Obama along with Secretary of State Kerry worked hard to give the terrorist regime in Iran everything they asked for in a nuclear agreement. The US will provide Iran billions while not doing a damn thing about getting US hostages out of Iran.
“On January 20, 1981, Iran released 52 Americans who had been held hostage for 444 days, minutes after the presidency had passed from Jimmy Carter to Ronald Reagan. The hostages were placed on a plane in Tehran as Reagan delivered his inaugural address.”
4 Reagan Created Jobs – Obama Killed Job Creation
Of course, Obama’s record on job growth is also much worse than President Reagan’s record.
Net job growth has declined under Obama. By the end of the second year of their terms as president, economic growth under Reagan averaged 7.1% , under Obama an anemic 2.8%. (IJ Review)
And today, more than five years into the tepid recovery, labor-force participation remains at its lowest level since 1978 during the Carter years.
5 Reagan Bombed Libya and Kept it in Check – Obama Bombed Libya and Gave it to ISIS
Reagan acted decisively when Libya was identified as a country sponsoring terrorist activities. He bombed the Gaddaffi regime when this information was uncovered and vowed to protect Americans around the globe.
Obama on the other hand, bombed Libya when there was no threat and when Libya had committed no recent acts of aggression against the US. Libya volunteered to allow inspectors into the country after the US stood up to Iraq during the GW Bush years. As a result of Obama bombing Libya, ISIS is now in charge of the country and four Americans were murdered in Benghazi needlessly with the perpetrators being labeled rioters and not terrorists.
After six years in office it is clear Obama is nothing like Ronald Reagan. Obama took the exact opposite actions as Reagan and the US and the international community are left to deal with the disastrous results.
