We now know that Hilary Clinton hid her emails from the government during her stint as Secretary of State, but why?
It came out in March 2015 that Hilary Clinton had housed her official government emails on her personal server. This was in spite of official Department cables sent to diplomatic and consular staff in June 2011 and bearing Clinton’s electronic signature that made clear to employees they were expected to “avoid conducting official Department business from your personal e-mail accounts.”
Mrs. Clinton last week came out on Meet the Press with Chuck Todd and finally answered some questions about her email server scandal. The first subject that Mrs. Clinton was asked to address was why she would go to all the trouble and expense of setting up her own private email server unless she had something to hide. Clinton laughed off the question by asking “Another conspiracy theory?” She never really answered the question. (As pointed out by HotAir, NBC blocked the video clips of her responses because they apparently made Hillary look bad.)
Cleary, Mrs. Clinton doesn’t want the American people to see her emails especially in relation to Benghazi. And, based on her history, she is known to place herself above the law (See Coulter’s High Crimes and Misdemeanors and Peschmann’s The Whistleblower). But more importantly to Hillary, and not in defense of her actions, Obama’s recent slams show Hillary’s clear motive – she really wanted to hide her emails from Obama!
