BIDENOMICS: The Grinch That Stole Christmas

Bidenomics: The Grinch That Stole Christmas

Bidenomics is the grinch that stole Christmas. The Biden economy means your Christmas dinner is more expensive, you can afford fewer gifts, you are less likely to receive a bonus, and your Christmas tree is pricier.

  • Food costs are 20% higher today than when Biden took office. Nearly seven-in-ten Americans say they expect food inflation to impact their Christmas meal plans, with many planning to forgo dishes like appetizers, sides, and desserts.

  • Planes, Trains and Automobiles: Planning on visiting family this year? Since Biden took office, the cost of gasoline has skyrocketed 44% and air fares are up 28%.

  • Biden, it’s cold inside: Energy costs, including electricity and gas to heat homes, are up 25% under Biden’s presidency.

  • 42% of business owners cannot afford to give their employees their annual bonuses this year.

  • If you’re watching the 1990 Christmas classic Home Alone this year, you’ll notice Kevin McCallister was able to purchase milk, orange juice, bread, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, a frozen dinner, mac n’ cheese, cling wrap, and a toy for under $20. Today, that same shopping list costs $72.28, a massive and unaffordable 63% increase from just last year, when the same grocery list cost $44.40.

Fox Business: “It’s a not so Merry Christmas at the check-out line for many shoppers as Christmas tree prices are on the rise once again.”
