With No Motive Provided by Authorities to Date in the Las Vegas Concert Killings – Speculation Thrives – Here are the Top Three Theories Shared on the Internet

The Las Vegas Killer on Sunday night murdered 59 people at the Las Vegas Route 91 music festival. Much information has been reported concerning the mass shooting but the reason or motive that the killer, Stephen Paddock, had for the mass murder is still unknown.

Because the motive is still unknown four days after the deadliest shooting in modern US history, there is much speculation on the Internet and in the news as to what led Paddock to perform such a heinous crime.

Here are the top three reasons for Paddock’s murderous actions being spread on the Internet –

1. Paddock is a political terrorist who was led to murdering and injuring hundreds due to his hate for President Trump and the Republican Party

Former CIA trained operative Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer went on with Martha MacCallum Tuesday night on FOX News. Shaffer said the Vegas massacre is shaping up to be a deliberate act of terror by a killer who was politically motivated.

Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer: I think it’s shaping up to be a very deliberate act of terror. This is beyond dispute. The question becomes motive. Everybody seems to be searching for a motive. I would argue most of the clues of motive is right in front of us… It was a politically selected target… This is the perception base on information. The perception was going to be a lot of pro-gun folks there, Trump supporters at this concert. So therefore, I believe the perception was, by the shooter, by Paddock, this was a legitimate target of political expression. Martha this may be something people don’t like to understand but the very reason that Hodgkinson did what he did, and I believe Paddock did what he did, because the left has now encouraged the use of violence as an extension and use of political speech.

Shaffer argues what others have speculated – that this was another incident where an American became radicalized due to the constant barrage of negative hateful anti-Republican and anti-Trump information promoted by the mainstream media. Although we recently saw where this was the case with the Hodgkinson incident, there is no additional evidence supplied to date to prove this was the case.

Note that there was a video of a man at an anti-Trump rally in Reno in August who looked like Paddock being being shared on the Internet but the picture was blurry and there is no evidence to date that the man was indeed Paddock. If this were proven to be Paddock then it would add some credibility to this theory of Paddock’s motive.

2. Paddock converted to Islam and carried out Jihad on the US by attacking the thousands of participants at the music festival.

On Monday the Islamic State claimed that the Las Vegas shooting suspect Stephen Paddock carried out the attack on behalf of the terror group. ISIS claimed Paddock ‘converted to Islam months ago.’

According to terrorism analyst Rita Katz, ISIS appears to be “doubling down on its claim,” as the perpetrators of the attack.

Daily Mail UK reported:

ISIS has has claimed responsibility the mass shooting in Las Vegas where 50 people were killed and more than 406 wounded, and said the attacker had converted to Islam a few months ago.

The shooter was 64-year-old Stephen Craig Paddock, a resident of nearby Mesquite, Nevada, who opened fire on the festival taking place at Las Vegas Village from a room across the street in the Mandalay Bay Hotel at 10:08pm.

“The Las Vegas attack was carried out by a soldier of the Islamic State and he carried it out in response to calls to target states of the coalition,” the group’s news agency Amaq said in reference to the U.S.-led coalition fighting the group in the Middle East.

“The Las Vegas attacker converted to Islam a few months ago,” Amaq added.

This second analogy is possible due to the many similar radical Islamic incidents before and after 9-11. However, it also seems unlikely because of no other evidence being released to date showing Paddock’s relationship with Islam. It is reported that Paddock had a camera going in his room filming his murderous spree and once this video is released, there may be evidence of any Islamic relationship. It’s also been reported that the FBI said that there was no relationship between Paddock and Islam.

3. The third motive shared on the Internet as to why Paddock killed so many in Vegas is more far fetched as it theorizes that Paddock was involved in deep state activities that led to his death.

The above theory comes from deep within in the Internet and is a classic conspiracy theory. It perhaps starts with a tweet showing a purported thread on the Internet from a few weeks before the festival warning people to stay away from large crowds.

Adding to the theory that Paddock was involved with others, it was reported that shortly before the rain of gun fire at the concert Sunday night, a woman reportedly told concert goers that they all were going to die. There are also stories of Paddock being related so some gun running scheme while using an alias on the Internet.

This theory seems very far fetched but it does seem eerily similar to the story that surfaced after four Americans were killed in Benghazi. That story reported that Obama and Hillary were running guns to Syrian rebels from Libya and the cover up of the murdered Americans was instigated to also cover up the illegal gun running scheme.

In summary, until the FBI or local police provide more information as to why Paddock killed so many, we are left to wonder and theorize. Odds are it could be almost anything. One thing’s for sure – the longer it takes for an official motive to surface, the harder it’s going to be to believe.
