Kim Sorgente continues to be prosecuted on bogus charges related to a “Stop the Steal” protest in Orange County, California in late 2020.
Is he really being targeted because he witnessed Roseanne Boyland’s death at the hands of the Capitol Police on Jan 6?
Kim Sorgente was attacked during a December 2020 “Stop the Steal” Trump rally in Orange County, California, by a gang banger with brass knuckles. Sorgente and others were protesting on a street corner when this gang banger approached with a couple other individuals.
Here is video of the event. You can see the gang banger had brass knuckles on.
According to Sorgente, this gang banger had a record and assaulted women at the event before going after Sorgente. Trinidad Fernando Molina reportedly in 2024 had pending charges for gang related vandalism, use of brass knuckles, and driving on a revoked license.

A few weeks after being attacked in Orange County, Sorgente attended the Jan 6 protest at the US Capitol. There he witnessed the death of Roseanne Boyland.
Sorgente’s Arrests
Kim Sorgente was arrested in March 2021 in Orange County on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon following the December “Stop the Steal” Trump rally. Sorgente claims he was defending himself against a gang banger with brass knuckles. Sorgente pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm.
Orange County DA, Todd Spitzer, (below) who claimes to be a Republican, believes that Sorgente’s use of his megaphone to protect himself against the gang banger with brass knuckles was a crime. DA Spitzer claims that a mega phone is a deadly weapon while ignoring the brass knuckles that were used against Sorgente and others that day.

Later in December 2021, Sorgente was arrested by FBI agents in connection with the events at the US Capitol on Jan 6. He was charged with obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder, entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and disorderly and disruptive conduct.
These charges were also bogus and Sorgente’s case was dismissed with prejudice after President Trump pardoned all Jan 6ers a week ago.
The Real Question
Was Sorgente targeted in California because he witnessed the death of Rosanne Boyland at the Capitol that day?
Kim Sorgente shared about his experience at the Capitol on Jan 6 where he witnessed Roseanne Boyland’s death. Roseanne was the second woman who died at the hands of the Capitol Police on that horrible day. Ashli Babbitt was shot and killed by Capitol Police Officer Michael Byrd who was recently pardoned by the Joe Biden Administration.
Sorgente was there on Jan 6 and witnessed the cops pushing Jan 6ers out of a hallway and onto stairs outside the building. These Americans lost their footing and were pushed on top of each other. Roseanne Boyland was caught under the mush pile created by the Capitol Police.
Sorgente said that he lost all dignity and cried and begged the Capitol Police to stop. He could see they were killing her. They never did stop. Finally, Sorgente got up and was cracked on the back of his head by a Capitol Policeman. Blood ran down his face. He did nothing wrong. He tried to save Roseanne Boyland.
Here is his recollection of this event.
Yesterday, Sorgente appeared in an Orange County court related to the charges against him for defending himself with a mega phone. A group of more than 20 individuals who know about Sorgente’s case showed up to support him.
Sorgente was given some time to discuss his case with the judge and a date was set in February to address dismissing the case that has gone on for nearly four years.
Sorgente’s story is gaining more attention. Major actors in the conservative movement are learning of his plight and asking what they can do to help.
Sorgente hasn’t set up a site where you can provide financial help but he did provide a number of a close friend who you can send money to on his behalf. He provided this during an interview last week on the Joe Hoft Show.
Please help with prayers or whatever you can do. Kim Sorgente did nothing wrong.
