In surprisingly undiplomatic terms for elder statesmen, George W. Bushand his father, George H.W. Bush, bash President Trump in a soon-to-be released book. While both of the former presidents vowed when they left office not to speak ill of their successors — a pledge they’ve kept for the most part — there’s just something about Donald J. Trump that they can’t stand.
Bush the elder, 93, was blunt, even crass, calling the president of the United States — a fellow Republican — a “blowhard.”
“I don’t like him,”Bush the Old said in May 2016, according to the upcoming book “The Last Republicans,” written byMark Updegrove. “I don’t know much about him, but I know he’s a blowhard. And I’m not too excited about him being a leader.” Rather than being motivated by public service,Mr. Bush said, Mr. Trump seemed to be driven by “a certain ego.”
The Bush family may have thought their efforts to submit to Democrats and the mainstream media (MSM) were humble. But in reality they submitted to an evil and dishonest media allowing the MSM to say what it wanted and didn’t have the courage to stand up for themselves and the people who voted them into office!
Americans voted for the Bush family and supported them through thick and thin. But it was more and more difficult to support the Bush family after eight years of George W. Bush being President. The MSM was relentless in their attacks, lies and disdain for President Bush and are using the same playbook today with President Trump.
The Bush family has not figured out that the media attacked them not because of their actions so much as their lack of courage in standing up to the corrupt lies from the media. By not pointing out daily that the MSM is evil and liars, the Bush name was destroyed by the time the 2nd Bush left office.
Jeb Bush tried unsuccessfully to run the President in 2016 but he really had no chance. The only thing he had was his family name and that we totally destroyed after 2008. The Bush Presidents believe their brother and son got beat by President Trump due to the current President’s brash ways but they are wrong. Jeb got beat mainly because his name was mud and a negative to running. MSM had destroyed the Bush family name.
Americans wanted a man with the courage to stand up to the MSM, to do what is right for America and to win. This is why President Trump won. He was what America wanted!
Shame on the Bush family to come out and continually berate our great President. Their actions in not voting for him and their words in their new book prove that American did the right and ‘humble’ thing in voting for President Trump.
