Identity as a Diagnosis: How Psychiatric Power Redefines Reality and Dodges Accountability

Nothing about the mass murder that occurred at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia last week is real except the names of the dead. The murderer, 18-year-old Jesse Van Rootselaar (AKA Jesse Strang), labeled by Canadian law enforcement as a “gun person, wearing a dress,” not gun man, and a transgender, not male, explained that “we identified the suspect as they chose to be identified in public and social media.”
This explanation is so utterly insane that it must be asked up front if the “gun person,” Strang, had self-identified on social media and in public as a Pirate, would the Canadian Royal Mounted Police, (RCMP) report that “an 18-year-old Pirate” was responsible for the murders? Clearly there’s as much provable evidence that Strang was a Pirate as he was a woman, so the conversation must be had if it is appropriate to assign identification by what is believed to be and not what is biologically correct.
For the record, though, Abel Mwansa (12), Kylie Smith (12), Zoey Benoit (12), Tricaria Lampert (12), Ezekiel Schofield (13) Shannda Aviugana-Durand (39), Emmet Jacobs (11 shooters step-brother) and Jennifer Jacobs (39 shooters mother), are the very real people – “kids” – males, females, not transgenders, real “kids” who are dead.
Unlike “transgender,” there is no made-up pretend word that describes these people other than what they are…dead. The same goes for the more than two dozen wounded, many still fighting for their lives. There isn’t another pretend word for the boys and girls wounded, except victims…victims of what psychiatry has labeled a delusional, mentally ill boy.
Jesse Strang, the “gun person” reportedly had a long history of mental illness including Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Attention Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and was prescribed psychiatric mind-altering drugs as “treatment” from a very early age.
Among the known mind-altering drugs that Strang had been prescribed were Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI’s) known as antidepressants and antipsychotics. Two specific drugs have been reported, including Sertraline (Zoloft) and Risperidone (Risperdal). What are some of the side effects associated with Risperdal? Aggressive behavior, agitation, anxiety, confusion, depression, mania, nightmares, blunted affect are some of the known possible side effects for this antipsychotic. Furthermore, the following side effects are associated with Zoloft: aggressive reaction, confusion, agitation, anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, emotional lability, aggravated depression, aggression, depersonalization, mania, paranoia, abnormal thinking, psychotic disorder, hallucination, suicidal ideation, and suicide attempt.
The RCMP has reported that Strang had been hospitalized in a psychiatric ward and received assessments under the Mental Health Act (a process for involuntary admission for mental health referred to as “apprehend for assessment”). Moreover, authorities had visited the Strang home multiple times for mental health related calls, including a final visit in the Spring of 2025 regarding concerns about self-harm.
Like all the mass shooter cases involving mental health and transgender, no specific mental health data or drug regimens are made publicly available. Without this data, it is impossible to know what cocktails of drugs Strang had been forced to take at a very young age and, worse, without this information, it is impossible to fully understand what might have driven Strang to murder. The adverse effects for just two of the known drugs prescribed clearly could have contributed to Strang’s murderous behavior.
But more importantly, who in the British Columbia behavioral health industry was responsible for tracking Strang’s “treatment?” Strang did not diagnose himself or prescribe his own drugs. A real person was responsible for following Strang as he digressed through the mental health system.
Let’s not forget, too, that Strang had reportedly dropped out of school at 14 and had begun to take cross-sex hormones. Strang’s psychiatric drug cocktail matters even more when one adds to the mix the cross-sex hormones. What kind of chemical lobotomy was Strang subjected to at the hands of British Columbia’s mental health industry?
The Canadian Province has a lengthy mental health file on Strang, but it is apparently as protected in Canada as it is in the US under the Health Insurance and Accountability Act (HIPAA). These records need to be released and if pretending that people can identify as any sex, it seems fair to pretend that these perpetrator’s mental health records don’t need to be protected.
Too often, the most recent shooters have identified as the opposite sex, including Nashville Covenant School shooter, Audry Hale, and Minnesota Annunciation Catholic School shooter Robert Westman to name a few. All the above shooters had mental health histories that included cocktails of mind-altering drug “treatments” prior to identifying as “trans.”
The question that needs to be answered is if the mental health “treatments” may be playing a key role in not only identifying as the opposite sex but also may be causing the violent, deadly, behavior among the trans-identified? It’s a fair question but one that may never be answered if nations continue to embrace fraudulent mental health diagnoses and made-up words like “transgenderism.”
Just last week, the European Union adopted a resolution calling for full recognition of trans women as women across EU policy and rejected an amendment that stated, “only biological women can become pregnant.” The implications of these policies are staggering. In the EU just saying one is a woman is enough to make it so. Given this utter nonsense, identifying, and being accepted, as a Pirate (or any other made-up identity) can’t be far away.
The deliberate hijacking of women’s identity was made clear during former first lady Hillary Clinton’s Women’s Rights Forum in Germany last week where her lead speaker was Delaware “Congresswoman” Sarah McBride… a biological man. Biological women might wonder what information a biological man can impart that a biological woman doesn’t already know?
Despite all the “trans” noise that has become what can only be described as a collective delusion, the dead at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School, Annunciation Catholic School, and the Covenant School are real. There is no made-up word that can replace the hurt each of these families live every day without their loved ones. It’s time to stop pretending that the violence that possessed these perpetrators isn’t real. It’s time to have a real conversation about whether psychiatric drugs are driving the increased number of “trans-identified” to commit murder. The names of the dead are not made-up. They’re real.

83% of mass shooters are mentally ill and have been prescribed psychotropic drugs that are known to cause anxiety, anger and violence. Yet they are prescribed anyway. When they shoot innocent people, the Left screams for more gun control.
California has the most restrictive gun control laws yet over the last five years they lead the nation in mass shootings and active shooter incidents.

This is the key, the "takeaway" from every article and essay on the subject, regardless of whether or not violence has been committed.
Publicly identifying these "real person(s)" is not a matter of "ginning up a mob" or doxxing these persons in order to do them harm. It's a function of accountability; shining the light of day on the way they make the decision to medicate.
From what is known about the mental health industry, we can plainly see that more than one variable is involved. Fee and reimbursement structure is a nontrivial factor; medications are less costly than counselling sessions.
They also don't require the active participation that changing maladaptive ideation demands.
Another variable is practitioner competence. In the minds of the public, the degree qualifies the credential, and the credential bestows competence, automatically.
This fiction is comforting, but ultimately counterproductive. Cognitive behavioral therapy is not a function of mouthing platitudes, despite the fact that a nontrivial percentage of therapists do little more than parrot textbooks and apply a "paint by number" approach to diagnosis with the DSM.
Effective counselling requires a competence that is always subject to the iron law of economics; scarcity. Medication is a proxy for availability, in the context of matching sufferer with practitioner.
There isn't an easy answer, but that doesn't mean that we must accept the status quo. Identifying and questioning those responsible for medicating, is only the first step in creating a productive informational feedback loop, but it's a critical one.
The entire medical community plays into this BS! Go to the hospital for services and one of the questions they ask is, "What sex were you assigned at birth?" Absolutely ridiculous. My answer is, "I wasn't assinged any sex, the Lord God determined I would be female from inception."

Have you not seen the ads for SSRIs for years that warn of dangers of suicidal ideation? And if you can think about killing yourself, it’s not a stretch to think that you would be capable of harming others.
What hormonal drugs? What data? The data put out by the pharmaceutical companies or the NIH? That data? How can you trust data that relies on someone's unscientific interpretation? You cannot prove by any scientific method that these drugs work for personality issues. And plenty of psychiatrists, general practitioners, and even physicians' assistants prescribe these drugs.
