Will the WNBA Allow 4 Time MVP to play tonight despite committing an act that Mandates She Sit Out of the game?

On Tuesday night, the WNBA’s 4-time MVP fouled Sophie Cunningham from the Indiana Fever by running her over, but Cunningham was called for the foul.  Then A’ja Wilson ran into the stands and began verbally assaulting a man in the stands.

Here is one depiction of what happened.

During Wilson’s attack on the finger-pointing fan, her teammate Chelsea Gray lost her mind. Grey is the player who started in front of Caitlin Clark at this year’s FIBA World Cup and who cannot run – she is as slow as dirt.

There were 5 people pointing at Wilson after she ran over Cunningham and was given foul shots instead of a foul.

Many fans began reporting on the event and noted that Wilson should have been kicked out of the game and not allowed to play tonight.  This is per WNBA rules.  Jason Whitlock even pointed this out.
