Who Recommended President Trump’s Nominee for the 7th Circuit Whose Husband Worked for Former FBI Director Wray and Merrick Garland?

Someone is giving President Trump some terrible advice and hiding the truth from him regarding a nominee for the 7th Circuit.  

President Trump has recommended to the 7th Circuit Nominee Becca Taibleson.  

But Taibleson has a some real issues in her resume. According to Megapetitions.com:

Taibleson is a Government Gangster who bankrolls Democrat candidates

• Like 4 Deep State spouses (the wives of Jack Smith, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, and Judge Boasberg), 5 anti-Trump judges (Tanya Chutkan, Juan Merchan, Arthur Engoron, James Boasberg, and Amy Berman Jackson), and 3 career DOJ employees (Peter Strzok plus Jack Smith’s deputies David Rody and Karen Gilbert), career DOJ prosecutor Becca Taibleson supports Democrats with her taxpayer funded salary. Becca donated to Sen. Joe Manchin (2024 election) (FEC records) and Judge Bridget Schoenborn (2025 election).
• Becca NEVER donated to Trump’s campaigns, or even his leadership PAC to help Trump pay his defense attorneys: Todd Blanche, Alina Habba & Emil Bove.
• Becca follows 4 politicians who ran for President – Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO), Andrew Yang, and Marianne Williamson – on X (formerly Twitter). But she does NOT follow 3-time GOP Nominee Donald Trump.

COUNT 2: Her Jack-Smith-wannabe husband creates conflicts of Interest

• Becca Taibleson is married to Ben Taibleson, who donated to Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Beto O’Rourke, and Wisconsin state Attorney General Joshua Kaul (prosecutor of Trump associates since 2023).
• Ben was the Special Counsel to anti-Trump FBI Director Chris Wray (2019–2022) and once clerked for Judge Merrick Garland (2010–2011).
• If confirmed to the bench, Becca will have to recuse herself from Ben’s caseload in both DC and Milwaukee, including his weaponization cases, as well as any future civil litigation or criminal prosecution to hold him accountable.

COUNT 3: She’s a Swamp Creature with a deep footprint in the DOJ’s Deep State

(This egghead is a pig in a poke; Trump has better choices to pick from)

• Unsurprisingly, Becca was recommended to the Trump 47 White House by Democrat Senator Tammy Baldwin on July 15th. Trump announced Becca’s selection for appointment to the Diane Sykes vacancy on August 15th.
• Becca spent most of the last decade working under the political control and supervision of Obama-Biden appointees: U.S. Attorneys Haanstad and Frohling, AG Merrick Garland / DAG Lisa Monaco, and Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar. Becca has no record of using her career position to become a whistleblower or prevent the weaponization of the DOJ against Trump and Trump’s associates.
• The leftist Alliance for Justice points out that Becca “Served on President Biden’s defense team in a case brought by the Brown County Taxpayers Association challenging the student loan forgiveness policy.”
• None of Becca’s endorsers has made a convincing argument why someone who donates to, works for, and literally sleeps with the enemy is a better choice than ANY of the dozen Wisconsin lawyers who have bled for Trump and the Republican Party, worked for conservative public interest law firms, defended Deep State victims, and possess more experience suing government than working for it.
