Largest WNBA Crowd In 17 Years Watches Caitlin Clark Score 30 Points in Win in DC

The largest crowd in the WNBA in 17 years watched Caitlin Clark score 30 points in a win in Washington, DC.

The largest crowd this century in WNBA history saw Caitlin Clark score 30 points, making 7 three point shots during a game in DC.

The Washington Mystics moved tonight’s game against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever from their normal 4,200-seat arena to the 20,356-seat Capital One arena.

This was the third win for the Indiana Fever who has a horrible coach and a team that rarely engages with Clark on or off the court.  The Washington team has problems as well, not winning a game yet this year.

ESPN didn’t place Clark in the lead for rookie of the year this morning, despite being rookie of the month in May. Today Clark set the record for the fastest woman in WNBA history to reach 200 points and 50 assists in a career.

Clark also set a record by being the youngest player to do this:
