“The Enforcer” Sophie Cunningham Becomes a Star Overnight

Sophie Cunningham of the Indiana Fever became an Internet sensation overnight after standing up for her teammate Caitlin Clark in last nights WNBA game.

Sophie Cunningham was traded to the Indiana Fever in the off-season.  She showed what a great move that was for all involved last night. Cunningham became the enforcer at the end of the game as she took down Connecticut Sun’s Jacy Sheldon with 47 seconds left.

This was in retaliation for Sheldon and the Sun’s harassment and assaults of Caitlin Clark all game.  This assault occurred earlier in the game.  The Sun bounced Clark around like a beach ball. (Clark ended up getting a technical foul on this series of events – wth – the WNBA refs are horrible).

Cunningham looked like she liked what she was doing when she threw Sheldon to the court just like a rag doll.

Cunningham reportedly received a black belt when she was a young girl.  She showed it in the exchange with Sheldon.

Cunningham reportedly put this up after the game.

There are other reasons many fans like Cunningham.  She was the perfect trade for the Fever, the fans and the league.

But seriously, the WNBA has the worst refs in all of sports.  This was all on them.  Cunningham took the law into her own hands.

  1. Good ol’ Boone county Columbia girl. It would be great if a new league gets started, omitting the violent players, and allowing actual basketball to be played. Sophie, I wish you could meet my son, he needs a girl like you! Psst, she’s Catholic to boot!

  2. I hope you’re doing well Joe. I think I’ve told you a few times I started following Caitlin Clark her last year in college after you had a clip on this site of her shooting a three-pointer at the buzzer and have followed her ever since. I didn’t even notice last night that she got a technical if I’m reading the Articles right. I hope I’m wrong about that. The referees are extremely bad. They should allow the coaches like eight challenges a game. The referee was right in front of that girl when she pushed Caitlin to the floor for no reason I believe Caitlin even hit the referee going down. And a real game that girl would have been injected right there on the spot. It took three women referees about 15 minutes to decide not to put her out of the game what a joke. I wonder if some of those referees have a daytime job working for the election boards . MAGA. Have a blessed day.

  3. I have noticed while watching on TV Caitlin Clark entering the stadiums the last few times she was dressed a little more modestly. I wish those girls would dress like Catholics should.
