Back in 2022, when Mike Kehoe was Missouri’s Lieutenant Governor, he was not pushing for better Congressional maps that would provide more GOP seats in Missouri. It almost looked like the opposite.
Things have changed. Governor Kehoe announced yesterday that Missouri politicians will be redoing the map for Congressional seats in Missouri.

Missouri Governor announced a special legislative session starting September 3 to push congressional redistricting and initiative petition reform, saying it’s about protecting “faith, family, and freedom” from outside influence.
He stressed Missouri Republicans already hold over 90 percent of county offices and every statewide seat, and argued the new “Missouri First Map” is simpler, splits fewer counties, and keeps current members in place.
He credited Trump for elevating the issue nationally and closed by urging unity for Missouri’s future.
