Tucker Carlson has gone off the deep end. But there were signs.
If you are watching the news, you know that Tucker Carlson has gone off the reservation. His comments about Israel and President Trump are shocking.
As part of the FOX News case against Dominion, text messages from Tucker Carlson were released. The filings in the case suggested that Carlson disliked President Trump two days before Trump Jan 6.
“We are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights,” he wrote in a text sent on 4 January 2021. “I truly can’t wait.”
Mr Carlson, the top-rated host on the conservative network, also appeared to denigrate the Trump presidency in these private messages, despite lauding his achievements on air.
“That’s the last four years. We’re all pretending we’ve got a lot to show for it, because admitting what a disaster it’s been is too tough to digest. But come on. There isn’t really an upside to Trump.”
We also know that Tucker and Hunter Biden were friends. Hunter wrote a recommendation for his son’s Georgetown application, and even got Carlson to intervene in a story about him on Hunter’s behalf.
Emails from Hunter’s laptop show that Tucker and Hunter were close until around 2015 – revealing Carlson failed to disclose the true extent of his friendship throughout his extensive coverage of the scandals surrounding Hunter’s business and personal transgressions revealed by his abandoned computer. In the emails Hunter professed his ‘love’ for Carlson and his family, called him ‘buddy’ and told him ‘you’re a friend’.
So is it a shocker that Tucker has gone off the reservation and been accused of antisemitism?
According to Mediate, Carlson’s relentless anti-Israel bent hasn’t resulted in the suppression of his content despite his fears that it would. His YouTube channel — which he launched in 2023 — has put out 13 videos in the last month, and 10 of them have either mentioned Israel in the title and/or included an eerie picture of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. That’s 77% of his production since mid-February.
Last year, Tucker was named “Antisemite of the Year” by a Jewish civil rights group in response to his interviews with a series of controversial speakers over the course of 2025, most notably white supremacist Nick Fuentes. Tucker’s remarks on air were considered a microphone for hate which lead to the abuse of Jews.
This explains a lot. Tucker has lost his objectivity.

What happened?
I support Tucker and wonder why he’s demonized for having a different opinion on Israel. I believe Tucker and Hunter were next door neighbors for years.
