Fourth of July weekend we drove a 2023 Ram 1500 with a 5.7 Hemi gasoline engine from the San Antonio area to the Dallas / Fort Worth area for two nights, then to Alabama for three nights, back to DFW for two nights, then back home which if I am very careful I can get a little over 20 MPG on the highway.
In order to keep up with the flow of traffic to and from Alabama I was running 80, 90, 100, 110, and at one point 115 MPG. Here is a recap of the trip from the computer on the truck;

Overall Average Fuel Mileage:
18.6 MPG
Engine Run Time (Hours, Minutes, Seconds): 41:06:21
Average Speed: (2091 miles ÷ 41.1 hours = 50.9 MPH) (including speeds listed above)
What eats up fuel mileage is hard acceleration from a stop and hard re-acceleration from slowing down. I try to ease into the throttle, even accelerating to high speeds.
I'm happy for you but My second car is a corvette. It doesn't do anything but hard acceleration, when theres no cops it goes at least 20 over the speed limit. I paid 5.49 for gas (premium) this weekend

It absolutely IS! OK and WY are tied for "most conservative state in America." 73% of OK and WY voters vote for conservatives during elections. TX only voted for Trump at 54%–that's about purple as it's almost 50/50, which puts TX in the same "purple" category as NC, VA. TN, SD, ND are high conservative voters, too, at 63%, but still not as conservative as OK and WY.
