The Diversion: On September 11, 2001, the United States closed its airspace after terrorist attacks.Planes Landing: Gander International Airport received 38 diverted international flights carrying nearly 7,000 passengers and crew.The Response: Gander had a population of around 10,000 people at the time. The town and surrounding communities opened their homes, schools, churches, and community halls to shelter, feed, and care for the stranded travelers for several days until U.S. airspace reopened.

A Prayer for Our Nation
Father God, We pray for our nation as a whole this September 11th. September 12th was met with unity and grief that we all shared. It is still something we share as a people; it is a reminder of how fragile and precious life truly is. Lord, we pray for peace and unity in our nation today. We pray that Your Spirit would pour out among us and that through and by You, there would be a common heart, a common goal, and a common desire for peace and kindness towards one another. Let us not lose sight of what is important in this life and help us love one another as You truly love us.

If you ever wanted to die, but couldn't, God will make that happen during the tribulation. You will want to escape the punishment but you won't. He works through His children. We are His hands, feet and mouth here on earth. If we do nothing, we deserve and will receive nothing.
Are you implying another religious holy war like the crusades? There will be one soon enough. It's called the Battle of Armageddon. It's God that is restraining the world from breaking out into civil wars, wars and rumors of war. Why? Those who are crying out for justice will see it play out during the tribulation.
