This is war, and throughout history, this is how major conflicts are addressed. Iran claimed it was at war with the US for the past four decades. They kidnapped, killed, and threatened Americans. They cheered for the destruction of America. Then President Trump said no more.

The only top Iranian official alive who could represent the Islamist regime to the world was reportedly eliminated overnight.  This puts the regime without a leader.
