You know my background of Navy Spec Ops, and I am a avid shooter.

If this was a 22lr, it was fired from probably over 200 yards. If standard velocity ammo, the most accurate of 22lr, is leaving the barrel at 1200 feet per second.  It is also slowing down immediately upon leaving the barrel.  At 200 yards the the velocity is about 875 feet per second.  This means that it took slightly over 1/2 of a second to travel the distance.

What this means, if Trump moved ever so slightly from the time the trigger is pulled, it was providence of God to have him move his head.

America dodged a bullet.

One shocking interview after the shooting was from a man who was with a group of people who saw the shooter before the shooting and tried to get the attention of the Secret Service.

This interview leads to many more questions.

Another interview was from an emergency room doctor who was onsite who tried to save the lives of one of the innocent attendees who were shot.  He did all he could to save the man.

The man who fired shots at the President has been identified.

The gunman who fired shots at former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Saturday night has been identified by the FBI as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Crooks was from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, about an hour south of Butler.

He was killed by a Secret Service sniper at the rally, officials said.

In a statement, the FBI said:

“The FBI has identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, as the subject involved in the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump on July 13, in Butler, Pennsylvania. This remains an active and ongoing investigation, and anyone with information that may assist with the investigation is encouraged to submit photos or videos online at FBI.gov/butler or call 1-800-CALL-FBI.”

“We do not currently have an identified motive,” said Kevin Rojek, FBI Pittsburgh special agent in charge, at a briefing Saturday night. A law enforcement official said early Sunday that there are no foreign terrorism ties known at this time and the suspect was not on the radar of law enforcement, although they are still running his name down.

The fact that the shooter had such an close location to the President is raising questions.

Here is the reaction and a video of snipers taking out the sniper who shot President Trump.
