More on Corrupt and Criminal Jack Smith.
Julie Kelly has more on what was learned at Jack Smith’s hearing on Tuesday.
I want to give some context to this–it’s a copy of Jack Smith’s notes from his conversation with the public integrity section (PIN) of DOJ (which he headed under the Obama adm) related to the superseding J6 indictment against the president.
SCOTUS’ immunity decision published on July 1, 2024. The “mandate” of the court, so to speak, posted on August 1–so there was no movement in the case (purportedly) until the mandate issued. Kicked back to Smith and Chutkan.
But time was running out on Smith. So he rushed to rework the indictment to adhere to SCOTUS’ immunity guidance–he kept the Trump-Pence comms in the document even though SCOTUS flagged that as potentially covered by presidential immunity–and ran it past PIN, which advised on August 17 against handing down another indictment against President Trump so close to the election.
He ignored that counsel, rewrote the indictment again (per his testimony today) and MIRACULOUSLY secured a criminal indictment on the same charges just ten days later.
All to make sure Trump was indicted again in Washington before the election.
