Michigan Dodges Upset with Questionable Help from the Refs at the Last Second.
OMG – the Refs save the day for Michigan.
The mind-blowing, controversial Western Michigan-Michigan finish.
Noah Eagle, Todd Blackledge, and rules analyst Terry McAulay have the commentary on the stunning scene for NBC. 🏈🦓🎙️

Jason Whitlock called the last play given to Michigan by the refs “criminal”.
One of the biggest crimes in sports history just happened to Western Michigan… pic.twitter.com/0ppg7wA0ML

A Western Michigan fan put this video together showing the controversial play called by the refs.
🚨🚨THE REFS EXPOSED🚨🚨
Western Michigan fans put together a video showing EVERY controversial call that went Michigan’s way.
The compilation includes missed holding, multiple roughing-the-kicker calls and the infamous extra second at the end.

The review after the game showed the last play was over before the refs gave Michigan another second on the clock.
Terry McAulay: “The ball isn’t even close to touching a player when it goes to zero… Their Hawk-Eye system apparently had a different sync… I don’t see how that happened, assuming our clock is correct… The ball is clearly still in the air when the clock goes to zero…” https://t.co/Krz3Dg5HTF pic.twitter.com/IcMjvHYaUo

Another view…
The ball is so very clearly NOT touching anyone’s hands at 0:00.
No back line view to see when the ball may have crossed, and the original call was game over.Something awfully fishy happened in Michigan. pic.twitter.com/uDtETiuGTc

These are also election officials.
they cheated time for the justice department to open up Rico and illegal gambling investigation at u of m
imagine being a Western Michigan bettor …. About to collect the biggest payoff
….and then… GONE!!
ADAPT THE OPEN REVIEW POLICY OF XFL!!
When a play is reviewed by officials off of the field watching cameras
The process itself is shown openly on TV. You see exactly what happens and you see the analysis & decisions!!
Way better than NOT seeing any of what the replay officials do….
NFL & College need to adapt Open Replay Review ASAP.
That way there's no fishy decisions behind closed doors.
Changing the "system" would take away the power of one or two refs…and can't have that…think of the $$$$$$ spent on betting on these games. Spreads, the works! Now why would the powers want to change the "ref advantage"????
It's not the field refs… It's the replay official in the booth you cannot see or hear.
XFL shows the entire process on camera. You see every camera angle.
You hear the replay official explain the decision.
XFL has made a number of experimental rule changes
& NFL has adopted some of them already.. So has NCAA
Completely avoids any chance of ever having a gambling scandal

The call wasn't 'questionable', the call was straight up garbage.
If that call was a national election, it would be the 2020 US Presidential Election.
And… the State was a contributing factor in that 2020 cheat.
Yep. ✔️
Wonder if the teams were reversed if the call would have been the same.
Hell, no. Western. Michigan would have never been given a second thought. They won that game, and it was stolen by the refs. A travesty to the game of college football.
It’s better for tv revenues to have Michigan undefeated as the season progresses. Many times it seems the most ‘desirable’ team gets the great calls from the refs. And the announcers, for that matter.
These Michigan games have been rigged for a few years……having to do with them being the #1 university for DEI. They rigged some of the KC Chiefs games as well because of Globalist idiot Taylor Swift.
Cheating is flat out rampant in that State.
The good news is there is nothing on TV worth watching on the weekends this time of year.
All the commercials on TV now a days makes it all unwatchable.
UM alum here – Western Michigan got screwed.
Hopefully you're not contributing to that University as an Alum.
"One second? That's just a rounding error. What's the big deal? We do it all of the time" MI Gov Gretchen Whitmer and MI Sec of State Jocelyn Bensen
Bookies made the call, the "refs" in Michigan work for them.
Doubt it was the bookies. Meeechigan was a 25 pt favorite.
Yes and not much money line money was bet either way because of the big price, But some people took " flyers " on Western to win outright and they were flat out cheated.
This has aspirations for an all the way to the Supreme Court lawsuit. The video evidence when you don't unsync the clock is very clear
No doubt about that. The NCAA has a big problem.
A win is a win.
Only if you actually won. They didn't no matter who thinks they did.
Ukraine became infiltrated by Nazis as early as the 1920s! Foolishly we supported and rebuilt the Nazis/Imperialists after WWII……leading to all those proxy wars!
Disgusting cheating, but what's more disgusting is taking the win from Western Michigan.
As others have said, the call was not questionable, it was not controversial, it was verifiably corrupt. The scoreboard clock in the stadium read 0:00 before the ball was touched by any player in the end zone.
It makes no sense to risk the watchability for all of college footbal to argue on the side of a win on a 0:00 play with no justification for it. Michigan itself should refuse the win gifted by the officials. It was embarrassing that they celebrated the corruption.
Western Michigan coach should have taken his team to the locker room and refused to play. The game was over!
That's why sports betting is a bad idea…..I learned that the hard way when the refs rigged the game against the Seahawks/Steelers Super Bowl in Detroit!
Yes, the Steelers/Seahwks SB was defnitely rigged…
I still remember the official that took away the first touchdown by the Seahawks for a perceived penalty.
If I could find the unedited raw Network TV replay of the announcer's, one of them, right after the questionable call mentioned that the "official" who blew the whistle grew up in Pittsburgh… wth!
These gamblers always do it to themselves. I don't watch sports because it is fixed. Not every game but a lot of it. Just more news of what I expect out of it.
Hard to fix a 1 point win to take care of a 25 point spread. The spread bet wasn't affected by the crooked call.
No, only the straight up bets.
Nobody had Western straight up unless they were drunk when they placed the bet.
Yeah, probably true!
Come on man…spread is only one way to bet the odds. The massive spread says it all….Western was supposed to loose, but just like horse races, sometimes the under dog wins, and makes some people very very rich. Betting on sports is a joke and known as a "sucker bet" for a reason.
Yep that was too big to rig even for the powers that be.
This is blatant
The dums control this, too? They have to cheat to win?
So for all of the years that we have seen the time displayed on the screen, their telling us that there is another secret clock that is actually the real time? And why was it even reviewed?
Nope, the game was over, so how can the refs rule? Whoever oversees this, should overrule this.
Some a-whole in the NCAA TV HQ gave the ruling. No going back now.
The ref's earpiece must've been buzzing with all the noise from the betting websites.
Vegas called and had 1 second put on the clock!!!
and Vegas avoids a huge payout
Lots of sweating there for sure….but of course U of M didn't make the spread so some folks got paid anyway.
Exactly!
A basic misunderstanding of betting parlors. The managers continually adjust the odds offered so that they take a certain percentage no matter the outcome. A few betters may win a lot, or many may win a small amount, the total payout is the same, all after the betting parlor takes its cut. They do not have a stake in the outcome.
Even if you’re a Michigan fan you can’t feel good about that win. Clearly the clock had run out before the ball even touched hands.
U of M feels good about ANY win at ANY time by any means possible. It is U of M.
Ohhhhh, bread and circuses.
cheating in sports, say it ain't so :)
Remember the Lions Dallas game….anyone who doubts it is all fixed is just foolish and dumb.
This is just football. It's not like this is something important, like winning a pennant
The world is burning and we're trying to figure out how we are going to feed everyone in the family who refuses to see what is going on. So, I really don't care about a bad call in a ball game.
But but but….
Gambling and payoffs are bigger than ever in sports
STUPID.
Is there not .9 secs left on the clock when it shows zero?
No, there is .9 seconds on the clock .1 second after is shows 1 (one).
Thanks, it was the way it used to be I believe. Of course, going to tenths of seconds would also help
Wonder how much money changed hands on that call? Gamblers were upset with that call I'll bet
Another waste of the electronics used to post this idiocy as being 'newsworthy'.
All the new rules in college football have only screwed over the smaller schools ability to compete. I watched this game and it made me sick. The games are rigged.
Thank god the NFL starts this week so we don't have to watch this garbage.
Like NFL games aren't rigged.
I'm sure he meant it as sarcasm at least that is how I read it.
Oh.
Any game could be rigged. But the NFL is way more strickt about it and they come down with a sledge hammer on gambling etc.
College is a totally different animal, all these schools cheat like hell in recruiting etc. It's always been crooked as hell.
To be sure, the NFL will keep others from rigging their games.
Unless it’s the woke NFL rigging their own games. Maybe they decide who should win before kickoff. Only a few questionable calls are needed.
Just another reason to ignore rigged sporting events.
Is Ann Arbor in corrupt voter fraud central Wayne County?
Corrupt Washtenaw County.
The Refs are also Election officials in Detroit.
Likely. LOL
Remember Nebraska having the game stolen by the refs against Texas in the Championship Game. Gave Texas one more second. Being a crooked ref must pay very well.
Nothing fishy. Outright theft. The parasitic ultra rich win again.
The sport is run by woke liberals, woke liberals cheat. How it is.
That’s why sports is just entertainment and fake now. DONT EVER BET ON SPORTS.
The fix was in. Just like the 2020 election.
This is what should forever go down as “The Michigan Mulligan.”
Actually a double mulligan, I think.
Michigan acted like they won a championship, how sad.
Looks like they play football in Michigan like they do their politics…
Cheating at the voting polls is not the only place they cheat in Michigan!
American Universities. Epicenter's of hyper liberalism. Destroyer's of young American minds. Factories manufacturing liberal democrats. Educators of thousands of foreigners many here undermining the US.
Let's all support college football. Opiate of the masses. These Universities need ESPN and MSM networks money to continue the indoctrinations.
what a friggin scam! western michigan was robbed, so were millions of college football fans!
Pro sports are worse. The KC Cheats in each of their three Super Bowl "wins" got called for offensive holding zero times, were allowed to jump offsides, late hits on opposing quarterbacks out of bounds, and more!
it's all about the woke DEI narrative!
College Refs….The NCAA version of our Judicial judges!
We're seeing why sports betting was illegal in states for decades
As if the Wolverines don't already have enough problems with their recent scandals ,here we go again starting off the season with a blatant absurd controversy…
I too am a Michigan fan , that believes Western was robbed and commend their coach for the class he demonstrated after this obscene call !
College Football needs a complete overhaul starting with the Refs !
Questionable? Strait up rip-off. Steal the W, then work on the story.
Probably not a gambling related steal. WMU already covered the spread.
LWNBA reffs take over college football.
I’m not a fan of either one but that was some straight up, bad as it get, BS!
Horrible call – Western Michigan got screwed big time – however I am perplexed why/how WMU couldn't stop the last catch in the endzone.
Maybe they were worried the ref would somehow call DPI…
File this theft under mail in ballots.
As my Disqus username will attest, I'm a Wolverine fan. WMU deserved this win, regardless of whether the last second added was legit. Clearly out-prepared, out-coached, out-played Michigan. I won't go as far with the conspiracy theories and disparagement as many on here, though. But I will agree that the NCAA has ruined college football on the whole. Go Blue!
Pretty simple the refs screwed Western Michigan. I saw it live and you knew the fix was in with the refs.
Broncos got ****ed
OFF TOPIC: I, for one, would be very interested in seeing the results of a poll informing one and all how much these "student-athletes" actually know, let alone apply to their lives in our society, about Fundamental American Principles. You know, the supreme principles that are presented in our Declaration of Independence — the ones for which our Founders fought our Revolutionary War — the ones that DEFINE US AS A NATION united.
So, go ahead, in matters of SPORTS, we Americans can do as we please … but, for obvious reasons, it would be very good that many more of us, in addition knowing ALL ABOUT sports betting, the Kardashians, and all kinds of WOKE ideology, to also knew about the critical poltical matters affecting our daily lives, particularly as such matters are being decided in our local State Houses and in DC.
MAGA & MAHA!
The ref must have been an election watcher.
Biggest bunch of Cheaters Michigan I've ever seen. Shame on them, WMU Had that win. That was a shame and my heart goes out to WMUs players.
Ugh…W. Michigan got paid to play in that game. Win or Loss – they were paid to be there.
Don't expect any push-back by W. Michigan admin as long as that game check "clears".
cheated
Let's all support college football. Opiate of the masses. These Universities need ESPN and MSM networks money to continue the indoctrinations, over-paid lefty administrators and ethnic study programs.
American Universities. Epicenter's of hyper liberalism. Destroyer's of young American minds. Factories manufacturing liberal democrats. Educators of thousands of foreigners many here undermining the US.
Trump needs to name them the Canadian Wolverines.
Sounds sort of like the wnba. Shameful.
Data centers added the extra second.
Data Centers when done right, will lift even the most impoverished town out of debt… but it needs to be done right… I know, I've built 3 in my lifetime…
Media keeps mentioning Public paying for power, and using all the water… I live in Florida and Golf Courses consume the most Water… although its "reclaimed" and that you have to make sure is actually happening too, but no one cares about that, because China's not paying for that Advertisement!!!
Wakeup America
Yup, when rampant gambling enters sports, expect this nonsense. Vegas does NOT lose.
That was nuts… sure the money was already in the Refs lockers… lol!
College sports in general and football in particular are, and always have been, corrupt.
Football isn’t about being a game anymore! It’s moved up to being solely about money! Greed has all of it consumed! At least from high school and up! Who has the most money will compete in college football now! The little teams without money will never really have a chance!! Money money money! But people like it and support it! Why? I don’t know!!
Nothing new unfortunately
It's like counting mail in ballots after the election date to overturn the results… same thing by adding time to the clock so the losers can win.
I believe the BIG replay booth made the call and gave the refs the order to give Michigan one more chance. They did it in the name of BIG rankings across the board. A rising tide lifts all boats, and they couldn't afford to have one of their ranked drag them down. They thought they could get away with it.
When I saw that call, I seriously considered quitting college football altogether.
"Timekeeper, please reset the clock to 60:00:01."
In 10 years, the referee's grandson will be attending Harvard on a full scholarship and it won't be because of his high SAT scores
How can anyone sit around and watch so much non-game?
College FB is as corrupt as the Nat Felon League
Dimocrat Refs
Calls like that only fuel the speculation that sports are rigged.
Almost as brazen as OU vs Oregon.
Screw job. As expected
" brought to you by Fan Duel ! "
BS call! How much money did the ref's have on the game?
Refs are in on gambling.
It's time for a SERIOUS financial audit of the referees.
Can’t hardly wait for the Sooners to roll over the Wolverines next week.
Everything about Michigan is a fraud, whether Elections or Football Games regardless of Election Observers/Administrators or Michigan owned NFL Referees.
It's the woke equivalent of both teams winning and everyone getting a trophy.
I don't bet on sports; I watched it. They were cheated, absolutely. BIG MONEY HAS CORRUPTED COLLEGE FOOTBALL COMPLETELY. Will cut down on viewing.
How many clocks do they have ?
As many as we need to get Michigan the win.
Michigan officials did NOT want another embarrassing opener like they had years ago against Appalachian State University.
I'm old enough to remember the 1972 Olympic games with USA against the Russians when the officials added time back on the clock to let the Russians win.
Another Las Vegas call. College football is as corrupt as the NFL. Another team that wins game by the refs is Notre Dame
the out of bounds recovery that they called in bounds on the 10 yard line and gave
them a TD changed the game when Wisconsin was about to pull a upset!
Commentators on both games disagreed with the refs call.
BOOOO-FFFFing—HOOOO
Michigan fan here. I consider it a loss. Even if it were a legitimate score, Michigan sucked. Bryce Underwood is a $12 million bust who looks just as crappy as he did last season.
This is as blatant as it gets. It's almost like Todd Blackledge knew it was coming. This week there will be another New Casino advertisement for your viewing pleasure. What an absolute Calamity. Now A days cheaters will cheat because there are NOT any repercussions!!!
Play better so you don't leave any choice to the refs. Put up enough points and it's not an issue. They did get hosed though.
Questionable?! It was outright robbery.
The officials did not want a repeat of 2007 against Appalachian State.
How much more evidence do you need? Total racket.
C'mon, man! Those refs had too much on the line to allow an upset.
Sports is not rigged. Until it is rigged.
Case in point: The Bail Mary.
Sheesh. Most egregious screw job of a football game since the Fail Mary in Seattle years ago.
If the Big 10 had any honor (HA!), they would void the result of the game and acknowledge that Michigan lost.
Clock was 0.00. Game over. Michigan cheat. Period. Zero. The end.
Sadly, this isn't a one off issue. Ever since the b10 centralized replay in HQ in Chicago. Damn near every SINGLE call out of that office has been in uofms favor. Including non calls and non reviews. At this point its just SOP. Which is why the review took just 9 seconds….the decision was already made. The bigger story needs to be with who is in charge of that room. It deserves a SERIOUS investigation by the authorities. It all ready has a name the "Blue Wall Cabal"
One of the biggest freakin’ rip-offs in college football I have ever seen, that extra one-second placed back on the clock after the clock had obviously run out while the football was still in the air proved to me that not only does the State of Michigan steal elections, it also steals football games. The bookies and casinos would have lost a fortune if WMU had been given the victory it righteously deserved.
Every bad call isn’t about gambling. I bet this one was tho.
Yes. Yes they most certainly are. All of them.
I wonder how long the ball was on the ground, under that scrum in the end zone, before the ref ruled it a touchdown in that extra play…
You don't understand gambling. If you would have bet on Western Michigan you would have won no matter the outcome. Michigan was favored by 27 points and the over/under was 49. I agree WMU was screwed but if you would have bet on them, you would have won!
The emotions run really really high on some of these games.
All that had to have happened, was a synchronization difference of 1/10 of a second between the scoreboard clock and the official game clock. That can easily happen where they are not in synchronization to a 1/100 of a second.
A basic misunderstanding of betting parlors. They do not have a stake in the outcome. They just transfer money from the winners to the losers, after taking their percentage cut.
A basic misunderstanding of betting parlors. They do not have a stake in the outcome. They just transfer money from the winners to the losers, after taking their percentage cut.
The other issue that requires investigation is of the uofm stadium clock runs fast. I.e. its not a second but changes at .9 . Given uofms massive cheating scandals of the past decade you simply cannot dismiss this right out of hand as a faster clock helps the team with the lead
Too funny.
I just can't get upset over football. Too many other important things going on.
The proof they offered up in defense of the crooked call was a split screen of the play on the left and a separate frame on the right showing the stadium time clock still at 0:01.
Only an idiot doesn't realize the clock shown on the right can be made to show whatever they want it to show. You'd have to see a single video frame showing the play and the clock in the background to be sure it was synced to the video of the play.
Imagine how silly they must feel that they went the entire game and never realized it was off by 1 second the whole game. /s
The clocks were suppose to be all synced and the one's I saw all said 0:00
The play and time is stopped when a player touches the ball. The defenders of MI say that the clock does not show tenths or hundreds of a second. That being said the clock was 0 before a player touched it if there were tenths of a second left it would have expired before a player touched the ball. Western got cheated and college foosball knows it. If NCAA had any balls they would take the W away from MI and get it deservedly to Western MI.
The Michigan QB ran around in the backfield for 5 or more seconds before he ever got the pass off. That 8 seconds plus the 1 second the refs added before that play commenced was totally gone before the first throw went over the back of the end zone. The “fix” was so obvious it stunk.
If Michigan's 2nd attempt failed, the refs would've called pass interference so Michigan could run another play anyway. It was already baked in.
Cheating seems to be something accepted by the institutions of our society – as normal as apple pie. The Democrats do it and get away with it, why not us.
Anything to win. Anything to get ahead.
Just like 2024 and any game that is played in football or whatever — you have to win so convincingly that they can not cheat enough to overcome the obvious.
A very similar decision was made by Michigan officials at Michigan against Penn State many years ago. The clock said zero but the officials decided to add a second and give Michigan 1 more play after time expired and Michigan throws a TD and wins.
The NCAA should review the play and reverse the home town referee decision and say the final score is 12-7 Western Michigan.
You really think that politicians/judges can be bought and sold…..but refs and players can't?
Millions of dollars ride on these games and one team is supposed to win over the other…it is just 'how are they going to get it done'….sometimes the refs have to get fully involved….and they will all receive "nice" bonuses in their paychecks.
It's why some of these plays are non-reviewable!
Or, alternatively, they may pay a high price for failing to do what's expected of them. "Nice family you got there, ref. Be a shame if something happened to them, you know."
This is fair. Google Ed Martin and read about his demise
Clark and Cunningham agree!
Look at the NFL want to see fixed games by the refs. Have not been allowed to look at HOLMES for the last 4 years let alone hit him. If that was MI on D the game would have been over and everyone knows it. The U of MI the crooks of the Professional College Football World.
Poor baby has HDS
Think this is bad, watch a college basketball game. All about the spread
Blame it all on sports betting
Watched this steal happen in real-time. NCAA leadership is as corrupt as those who run our elections.
Anyone who bet against the UofM has standing in a court of law. Since betting has been legalized, those who bet on these games now have legal standing. See the NCAA try to defend this decision in a court of law – SUE THE FYYK outta the NCAA!
Michigan along with many of the elite high rank teams will lose more than one game!
They showed they are not all that great! LSU was the only true champion looking team!
Agreed, LSU looked phenomenal. I’ve always been an LSU fan but I can’t stand Lane Kiffin. Such a dilemma lol
And yes, it is possible to be concerned about college football as well as the more serious, important things going on in the world.
When Wake Forest was about to upset Ga. Tech early in the 2026 season and end their hopes of a playoff birth, the line judge missed a blatant offsides call on GT that would have given Wake Forest the needed first down to run out the clock. Replay shows GT DB, although trying to retreat back, was clearly a step over the line when the ball was snapped. And ref looking right at him.
Michigan cheated by stealing signals from other teams. Now, the referees cheated for them.
Michigan struggles to win without cheating/rigging the system.
SO DID NOTRE DAME! WHO ALL THE 'EXPERTS' CLAIM WILL WIN IT ALL THIS YEAR?
YET THEY HAD TROUBLE WITH WISCONSIN? AND REFS HAD TO HELP THEM WIN.
Pure officiating BS!
Worst I ever saw was the 1972 Men's Basketball Gold Medal game. USA vs Soviet Union.
US scored to lead/win by one point. Refs gave Soviets 3 tries to score with 3 seconds to go.
I remember that. Pretty much the same thing here
I remember that “fix.” So obvious even a caveman could figure it out.
Also, in the 4th quarter the UM grab on the WMU quarterback's facemask was so flagrant and long, including head snap, that it could not have been missed by the numerous refs on the field.
Sports betting. The refs know the script and will do what it takes to follow it. They don't even try to hide anymore because they know there will be no consequences.
Every time the Michigan Football team touches the ball this year while being the visiting team all they should hear showering down from the stands is…
"Losers'!"
It's Michigan. Would you expect any less than cheating? The refs are in somebody's pocket (the sports gambling ring reigns king).
I'd say the refs are in tight with some bookies.
Look folks, Meechicken cheats and it is the entire state's apparatus that works together, getting away with it all.
Don't think for one second that scUM isn't part of that. (#HARBAUGH)
SHAME be on to those stinky Wolverines!!!!!
O-H!!
*P.S. Those "referees" need banned from the NCAA. IMHO
That ending was stunningly unbelievable. It was so obviously over with that first Hail Mary pass. They could have at least shown what the replay crew saw. I would call the replay crew and the refs incompetent but with all the money involved, that argument goes out the window. The world is becoming more rotten by the day.
All that had to happen was a 1/10 of a second difference in synchronization between the official game clock and the scoreboard clock. Which can easily happen, because the official clock can probably go down to 1/100 of a second.
Not to mention, there was a no-call on 2 pass interference penalties against Western Michigan on that play.
Why isn't the Hawk-Eye clock used as the official on field clock then? Michigan cheats, in elections and in football…
Guess this is just another case of bad or weird calls
Western Michigan robbed of a historical upset.
I WATCHED TOM BRADY YEARS AGO. HE WAS DRIVING DOWN THE FIELD . THE CLOCK WAS AT FOR HIM TO SNAP THE BALL. HE WAVED HIS ARMS L;IKE A BIRD AND THE CLOCK JUMPED TO 25 .IN THIS CASE FIND OUT WHO DECLARED 1 SECOND LEFT . INVESTIGATE THEM , CHARGE IF A BET WAS ON . EITHER WAY BAN THE INCMPETENT OR PRO MICHIGAN OFFICIALS AND BAN THEM FOR LIFE
BS. Who ever heard of any fraud on the state of Michigan? Totally legit as always
must be a ref from the WNBA,,,
Big ten officials have been corrupt since Gophers got screwed in game against Wisconsin for big ten title in 1963. (was in 5th grade).
As big college football fan I was shocked and disgusted by the REFs this weekend! It seemed like
obvious calls not called and obvious non calls called all for the elite teams especially in close games
that may have gone either way! Michigan was one then Notre Dame with a out of bounds recovery
that was obvious but still called in bounds resulting in a TD for them! Same in Ole Miss Louisville
game! It's close until a few calls turn the game for Ole Miss! AND I HATE ALL THESE TEAMS! I did
not care who won and I dont' bet on games but I love close games and upsets! Is NCAA like NFL now?
It's not fair. LSU ranked #11 and kicked Clemson's a.. yet teams ahead of them obvious not better
or even close to as good and could barely win playing mediocre teams! LSU should be in top 5!
Well……..in defense of Michigan.
They did reveal an official time clock that showed 1 second left when the ball hit the defender's hand. All that had to happen, was a synchronization difference of 1/10 of a second for this to be fine between the offical clock and the scoreboard clock.
Second point, 2 Western Michigan players committed "pass interference" penalites against the Michigan receiver, one was a couple of seconds before a possible catch that caused the Michigan receiver not to be able to make the catch, he lost enough balance from the hit and went to the ground, he could have caught the ball with a leap he was right there.
Forgive me, I am not converse with American football rules, but IF the player was inside the field of play originally, time was already out judging by clock and where the ball was… can someone explain how the last play, with one second is legit – is the ball supposed to be in players hands before time expires?
No word on when President Trump will change the name of another of the Great Lakes, from "Lake Michigan" to "Lake Mulligan".
Whether it’s a sporting event or an election, fans and voters alike are entitled to transparency and fairness. Exposing and holding accountable those who serve the opposite are vital in both.
