This video says it all. A man with a gun stopped a madman with a knife on a stabbing spree in Michigan. The media won’t share that the madman was stopped by a man with a gun.

Neither the media nor law enforcement want citizens intervening in these kind of situations for different reasons. We have become, for the most part a nation of cowards mostly out of fear of being prosecuted for defending ourselves and those around us.
Should we date to defend ourselves we are place at the mercy of overzealous prosecutors who will move forward with a frivolous prosecution simply because they can. They will tout their folly as sending a message to others who would dare attempt to do the same.
The problem as always seems to be overzealous government actors and a media complex that profits off of a frightened population and sensationalized reporting to keep the masses tuned in.
Defend yourself and spend two years going back and forth to court until your are broke. Total win for attorneys who profit off of this, the unaccountable government and the media all while real criminals receive the revolving door treatment.
