Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Approves an ILLEGAL POWER GRAB Over Early Voting.

America First Legal addressed an unlawful act by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors to set up early voting drop boxes.

Arizona law is crystal clear.

A.R.S. § 16-542(A):

“The county recorder may establish… early voting locations… the recorder deems necessary.”

ONLY the recorder. NOT the board.

Setting up unauthorized drop boxes is a class 5 felony under A.R.S. § 16-1005(E).

Collecting early ballots without the Recorder’s authority is a class 6 felony under A.R.S. § 16-1005(H).

The law does not let the board create its own ballot drop-off system during early voting.

If Maricopa County officials want early-voting drop boxes, they must be established through the county recorder — the official Arizona law entrusts with that authority.

This isn’t a technicality — it’s a direct assault on the separation of powers and voter trust.

The board cannot seize power Arizona law gives to the recorder.

AFL has put the board’s lawyers on notice.

Note that the Board did approve the drop boxes in the meeting on May 20.  According to Grok:

The largest turn out in person for voting for AG and for Kari Lake and they rigged the machines to spit out the ballots and not accept them on election day and they processed them for a month after the election to cheat the data base with ghost votes, changing the votes in the system and pumping it with fake ballots and turning out the results then purging the system of the fakes and destroying the paper ballots that matched the fake data. We can only check that our ballot vote was "counted" but it is not in the system to show who or what we voted for and kept in our registration account. For all we know our vote was changed in the computer, but "counted" in our minds. It went to their count they wanted. It's deep how they fake it all. Every step that is taken to block the cheating process, we are met with gangsters in positions like BoS and AG and Gov to make sure the Arizona Elections Mafia can continue with their crimes and raping us from our votes.

    Therefore all drop boxes should be illegal, as they violate the chain of custody necessary to validate an election as legitimate.

    • Depends on what you mean by "audit" ALL legitimate (set up by the County Recorder) drop boxes are monitored by camera. I have been in the Pinal Elections Office and seen them.
      This is to prevent tampering or catch people dumping harvested ballots.
      Each mailed in or dropped off ballot must be signed and before the ballot envelope is opened, the signature is compared with the signature of the person when they registered to vote. I have seen this process also. The people comparing signatures all displayed their certification from the FBI that they are trained in handwriting recognition.
      I have not been in Maricopa Co Election offices, or Pima Co, so I don't know if they deviate from the legal process. I am aware that in 2020, Dominion appeared to deliver boxes of mail-in ballots with no chain of custody. That was under the previous County Recorder and Dir of Elections. Neither of which I would trust to make change for a dollar.

      • This does not stop fictitious or ineligible entities such as dead voters or people who have moved. There are an estimated 500,000 ineligible voters in Arizona alone, which is enough to sway any election. A current lawsuit claims 14 of 15 Arizona counties have voter registration rates that are “implausibly high.’’

Kate McGee was loosing last time I checked the count for board member election, then all of a sudden she wins, and is in the highest position on the board. Well, she's corrupt as hell and it is connected to the child trafficking problem in Arizona and she's best friends with Cindy McStain-Cain. How can this woman be on the BoS when she threatened Sen Farnsworth with (death?) if he continued to look into the problem with missing children, runaways, and the state data base not balancing out which is a loop hole to disappear children and put them on the trafficking ring. He filed and ethics complaint. Who would not want the missing children found or looked into? Someone that is in on it.

    They cheat with mail in and drop off ballots, early voting and counting for a month after the election. The only reason they want to do this is to control the voting outcome and they know our new elected recorder does not want to allow the cheating to continue. We already know and have the evidence they cheat in our elections. These people did not win without being cheated into their positions: Adrian Fontes, Kate McGee, Kris Mayes, Katie Hobbs, Ruben Gallego, Mark Kelly. Arizona has always been a republican state and still is. There is no way a presidential win republican with voters voting down ballot would pick all democrats for all positions but pick republican president.

    There's even mounds of proof. And any numbers pro knows that in this population, nobody can win by a couple hundred votes like AG Mayes who is constantly spending money suing Trump. It's literally impossible to be that close in numbers in this population splitting D & R. There were discovered already hundreds of thousands of illegal ballots, dead people, illegals, bad addresses, no signature match, duplicates, etc. That's another reason they don't want anyone looking at the rolls, there's too much fraud.

    • Great post. Debbie Lesko, a Republican board member, is a real piece of work, along with McGee. She left D.C. as a congress critter to "take care of her elderly mother" and immediately ran for board of supervisors job and is going against the laws and the Conservative county recorder, Justin Heap who the people voted in – in the last election.

  107. In my opiinion election fraud ran maricopa county with richter at the helm. So he and the county board were buddies. The board is trying to run it as if he is still there. Everything will be a battle with the benefactors of the fraud running the state.

  109. If you can drop off your ballot at a drop box, you can vote in person.

    Mail-in ballots and drop boxes get rid of the concept of a secret ballot. Secret ballots were devised to prevent all the voter coercion that was going on in the 1800's. Voter coercion is when party machines threatens or rewards voters in order to get them to vote a specific way. The secret ballot prevents this because it forces voters to come in and to vote alone in front of everyone. Everyone can confirm and see that the voter is who they say they are, that they are voting alone, all while not knowing who they vote for. If you can't determine how someone votes, you can't coerce them as easily.

    With secret balloting at public polling stations, you might be able to pay voters to turn out to vote, but you can't pay them to vote a specific way.

    Mail-in ballots and drop boxes makes it very, very easy to coerce voters again. You simply pay a voter for their mail-in ballot or pay them to give them your mail-in ballot and you can deposit it for them in the drop box. This confirms that ballot goes for the candidate(s) the coercer wants. Voters lose their say in the election in exchange for payment or due to threat of punishment.

    Many times the source of these rewards and punishments is the government itself. It other words, it may come in the form of free housing, no free housing, a gov job, no gov job, access to a school, no access to a school, etc.

    The Recorder is a Conservative and was voted in by the people. The Board is corrupt.

    • The vote manipulators give us the county recorder (by not manipulating the vote) and steal the board of supervisors (by manipulating the vote). Not all races are stolen. The manipulators pick and choose which races they need to win. This also gives the appearance that no cheating is going on. They'll say, "you won the Recorder's office" or Trump won so how can you say there is cheating"? Evil is diabolical.
