“Long Live the Shah!” – Iranians in Toronto Celebrate the Shah of Iran

“Long Live the Shah!” – Iranians in Toronto Celebrate the Shah of Iran.

Thousands of Iranians in Toronto gathered in support of Reza Shah Pahlavi II (@PahlaviReza), Iran’s exiled Shah and National Leader.

This viral video shows the Shah singing “Ey Iran” with the crowd as Iranian singer Nooshafarin performs the national anthem.

Iranians in Iran and elsewhere want an end to the terrorist Islamic regime running the country.

Regime change in Iran isn’t good enough.

We want Pahlavi. We want our Shah to return to Iran.

Iranians only trust HRH Pahlavi to transition Iran from a brutal Islamic dictatorship to a functioning secular democratic society.

100,000 Iranians in occupied Iran were murdered by the terrorist Islamic Regime in January 8 and 9 just because they supported the Shah and wanted a free, secular and democratic society.

We’ll finish the job. And we will avenge every murder.

Here’s more:

@gghamari , a former Canadian politician and human rights activist, today in Toronto clearly expressed the demand of the majority of the Iranian people. Listen to her words and see what the Islamists, leftists, and communists did to Iran with the 1979 Revolution: they took our country hostage and turned it into a hellish third-world Islamic country. We want Iran great again. With their Lion and Sun revolution in January 2026, Iranians had one demand: the overthrow of the regime and the return of the @PahlaviReza to Iran.

Here’s a video of the Shah entering the event on Saturday evening.

Here’s a viral post of the people cheering for the Shah.

BREAKING: Video goes viral on Iranian social media showing a packed Toronto hall erupting in “Javid Shah” chants as Reza Shah Pahlavi II takes the stage.

More than 3,000 people filled Meridian Hall in Toronto on Saturday and broke into chants of “Javid Shah” in support as Iran’s exiled Shah and the National Leader of the Lion and Sun Revolution, His Imperial Majesty Reza Shah Pahlavi II (@PahlaviReza) and Canadian Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre (@PierrePoilievre) appeared at the Cyrus the Great gathering.

The Shah told the audience that the goal is “the overthrow of the Islamic Republic and reaching a free and prosperous Iran,” naming territorial integrity and national unity, separation of religion and state, individual freedoms, legal equality, and the right of Iranians to choose their future government through a free vote.

Organizers presented the event as a mix of political speeches, cultural performances, and a show of unity among Iranians around human rights and Iran’s future. Several Canadian MPs from both major parties were expected to attend.

  1. A heartwarming gesture but reality is, Islam and its Muslims have control of Iran and they wont be giving it up.

    • Islam is actually the extreme minority in Iran.

It is literally against the law to be of any religion other than Islam in Iran.

The Pakistani student revolt joined with the commies in 1979, then the Pakistanis kiIIed all of the commies to solidify their control.

    • There was no 'CIA installed dictator., The Pahlavi Dynasty had been in power since 1925. Before that was another dynasty of Shahs that had been on the throne since the 1700s.
The Shah under Iran's constitution could dismiss his ministers, and he legally dismissed Mossadegh when Mossy started arming the communist militia started by Joe Stalin in the north during WW II (Russia occupied northern Iran during the war) with arms belonging to the Iranian government (and the arms were gifts from Britain and the US).
For that, The Shah fired him. PERFECTLY legal.
What would you suggest if Hegseth started giving Abrams Tanks and US rocket artillery to MAGA without permission from Trump?
      You Leftists LIE SO MUCH.

  2. "Iranians in Toronto Celebrate the Shah of Iran"
That's cool if Iran was Canada. But what do Iranians in Iran think? They're the ones that really count.

        • Islams forbids apostasy.

Simply saying "I am no longer Muslim" is enough to get a bullet to the head by Muslims.

To say that Iran wouldn't kill thousands of their own for wanting to live a normal life is military grade weapons ignorance.

          • Iran had a normal western styled life before we got involved back in the early 50s, since that time there has been nothing bloodbaths. First by the Shah now by the mullahs, best thing for them is to leave them alone.

          • Old saying, "Lead, follow or get out of the way"
The answer I keep hearing to the question, "Why don't the Iranians fight for their country?" is that the current regime will kill them.
I'm glad George Washington and a whole lot of other American patriots thought liberty was worth the risk.
If they don't value their own liberty enough to fight for it then why shoukd anyone else?

          • "Why don't the Iranians fight for their country?"

That is because the whole world knows and has seen how stupid Americans are and can be conned into fighting and dying for them.

  3. It is hard to find mention of it now, but when Gorbachev announced that Russians would no longer be imprisoned for their opinions, the first thing that happened was a demonstration in Moscow by 70,000 people carrying signs for the restoration of the Czar.
I cannot find any mention of that anywhere anymore, but it was on television news in the US that evening.

  4. “Long Live the Shah!” – Iranians in Toronto Celebrate the Shah of Iran.

    Dwight D. Eisenhower:

    "Zendebad, Shah!" (August 19, 1953)

    • True, but you can bet the leader of this group would never risk his life to overthrow the current Iranian regime.
He wants OTHER people to risk THEIR lives so he can sit on the throne of Iran.

    • Parents driven into exile in 1979, they would’ve been slaughtered by the Ayatollah had they not fled. Kinda like the Peronista regime in Argentina, or Casto’s Commuist Cuba, both of which pretty much ran their countries into the ground.

    • Most who are there for political asylum and would probably do just that if they could be armed. Otherwise, it would be suicidal to return. The IRGC will fall and most of the diaspora of Iran is more than ready to return when the Islamic regime in power is gone. Soon it will be gone.

  5. So they are forming their own Iranistan there in Canada? Pahlavi wouldn't last long in Iran. No one is pining for the good old days of the Shah's police state.

  6. The Shah was an oppressive dictator before the fundamentalist Muslim took over Iran, but the current ruler(s) of Iran are nothing more than fascists who engage in genocide of their own people, wage war on other Muslims as well as "infidels," are anti-Semitic, intolerant, have their own secret police, kangaroo courts, etc. just like Hitler, Stalin and Mao did.

  7. I remember when the mullahs took over Iran. I was in my early twenties when it happened and, to this day, cannot wrap my mind around why they let the jihadis take their country away and ruin it like that. They never fought hard enough to keep it. It was almost as if they decided to ignore the problem and wait for it to go away organically.
And here we are, decades later, dealing with the problem that Iranians ran from. It used to be an awesome country!! Now it's one of the world's biggest issues to solve!!

    • The jihadis were actually "Pakistani students" who were about to be kicked out by the Shah for overstating their visas.

They joined up with the commies to demand the Ayatollah be allowed to re-enter Iran.

Then they took the embassy, then the Ayatollah executed all of the commies.

That is exactly how it went down.

That is exactly what they are attempting to do here

  8. I’m surprised the wusses running Canada haven’t driven him out of the country.

Mr. Trump……how ‘bout Minnesota for Alberta? Straight swap.

  9. I watched this guy on Valuetainment ( Youtube) . He is a stone cold loser ( he is no leader) and has no real passion to return to Iran. Too comfortable here in the US.

  10. Great… I agree… I like the Iranian people very much… but they need to stand up in Iran and help take their country back.

  11. The only goal of putting this clown in power is that he would be another compliant stooge for the US and Israel and they could steal the Iranian people's natural resources, like was done before.
Isarel wants control of the entire ME and will use the compromised Donald Trump and the compromised congress to wage their war.
Not about freedom or helping the people, the helping hand from us wields a battle axe to steal things.

  12. "Iranians in Toronto Celebrate the Shah of Iran…" let them celebrate the Shah all they want to in Toronto or anywhere else in the world. He won't be celebrated in Iran that's for sure.

  13. The former Shah was a tyrant who jailed and killed millions, why do they think this one would be different. The only thing they can do is elect a ruler chosen by the people of Iran instead of another being installed by the USA.

  14. To "find a way", you first have to be able to define a responsible group and leader. Reza Shah Pahlavi II is not, in my opinion, that leader unless our CIA supports him.

    • I'm not 50% of any one place and I don't give a rats a$$ what goes on in the Western Europe, Italy, Eastern Europe or Ireland.

I'm a true mutt and 100% American and nothing else.

  15. SAVAK was the brutal secret police force of Iran's last monarch, Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, responsible for widespread surveillance, arbitrary arrests, and severe torture from 1957 until the 1979 Iranian Revolution

In a famous October 1976 interview on CBS's 60 Minutes with journalist Mike Wallace, the Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, stated that pro-Israel or "Zi***st" pressure groups wielded vast influence over American policy, politicians, media, and finance

When Mike Wallace pressed him on the extent of this power—asking if he meant such groups "pull the strings of the Presidency"—the Shah demurred slightly on the presidency itself but argued that the lobby had pervasive influence over "politicians, newspapers, banks and finance".

The Shah claimed that members of the community made certain prominent newspapers and media outlets reflect their foreign policy views.

  16. NO Iranian I've ever known yearned for the days of the Shah. They hated him. Everyone hates Muslims until they have a way to use them for their propaganda. Good job GP.

    • My experience is exactly the opposite. I got to know a number of Iranian families who were stranded in this country after the Revolution. Academics, doctors, businessmen. Not political, just trying to live their lives. The only ones who hated the Shah were the communists and the jihadists.

      • I’m sure you do. That’s not uncommon for different people to have different feelings.
Besides people I’ve known I read two books written by former Muslims turned Christian and they hated the Shan and weren’t very happy that he was replaced with a government just as bad.
Things have been slowly changing since the revolution too. I’ve heard from people, nobody I know but those I listen to that have much more knowledge than I, say that the progress has been good and estimated that in a couple of years things would be very different.
Best I can say is I wouldn’t want to live there.
As an aside, I’ve met Russians who preferred the USSR and told a different story than what we know. I was shocked. They had valid reasons and even told me they went to church every Sunday.
Nothing is the simplistic this or that we’re all used to.

        • A guy I know married a Russian woman who grew up in the waning years of the Soviet Union. She always says she misses the certainty of those days. Your path was set for you, and you didn't have to think about the future. She isn't really very happy living in the US.

  17. Trolls engaged as usual, and all at the same time, and only on GP stories about Iran/Israel. The cowards will block you as well if you wreck them with facts. Laura is one of them who blocked me like the intellectual coward leftscum she is:

    You can't handle TheTruth!

    • I KNOW YOU ARE BUT WHAT AM I? THESE ARE THE SAME PEOPLE THAT WOULD PUSH UNTIL YOU RESPONDED AND GO TELL A TEACHER AND SOME HOW YOU WERE FORCED TO EXPLAIN YOURSELF.

MANY A POINDEXTERS/BALLPEENS ETC WALK WITH A LIMP NOW.

  18. GOOD FENCES MAKE "GOOD NEIGHBORS" AWARE OF THE LINE THE CROSS WILL BE THEIR END.
THIS HAND WRINGING AND FINGER POINTING NEEDS TO END.
PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO AMERICA OR MEETS YOUR END WHEN DEFYING OUR SOVEREIGN RIGHT TO LIVE AS AMERICANS. AMERICAN VALUES WILL LEAD THE WORLD THE MOMENT WE STOP TOLERATING DISSENT WITH IN OUR BORDERS.

    • YOU SOUND SUBVERSIVE BUT YOU ARE SPOT ON. SINCE WW2 NO WARS ARE EVER WON THEY ARE EVERLASTING THREATS AND WASTED LIVES TO FURTHER THE END RESULTS FAVORING THE ELITE ARE THE EXPENSE OF THE SERFS.

I FOR ONE HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH WAR OR FIGHTING. WHEN I FIGHT/FOUGHT SOMEONE THERE WAS NEVER ANY CONCERN OF RETRIBUTION OR A CONTINUING CONFLICT. I ENDED ALL BATTLES FOR GOOD.

WE KNOW HOW TO END IT BUT WE CONTINUE FOR MONEY….WHILE THE SERFS SUFFER AND PAY FOR THESE WARS…ENDLESS WARS.

        • IT DOES NOT MATTER NANCY. WHAT ALREADY HAPPENED IS DONE. WE DEAL WITH TODAY. TODAY IRAN FURTHERS TERRORISM ATTACKS ON AMERICAN TROOPS AND AMERICANS.
          SO WE END IT.

IF YOU ARE SO OFFENDED ABOUT THIS THEN GO OVER THERE AND FIGHT AMERICA FROM THERE. QUIT RUNNING YOUR LIL RICHARD SUCKER FROM HERE YOU COWARD.

  19. Mohammed Reza Pahlavi held the title of Shah. From 1951 until 1953, Mohammed Mosaddegh was the Prime Minister of Iran. He nationalized the country's oil industry to benefit the Iranian people. The Brits didn't like that they could no longer exploit Iran's oil, so MI-6 and the CIA organized a coup to oust him and installed the Shah in power. He was a disgusting dictator that ran a police state. That was the reason for the Islamic revolution of 1979. The revolution that reclaimed Iranian sovereignty is the reason why "we" hate Iran. The dirty bastards wanted to control their own destiny. How dare they! The entirety of our aggression against Iran comes from despicable hubris.

    • It was the USA and Britain. The USA has played a huge part in destabilizing the ME from the end of WW2 till present time.

  20. While at university(in america) in the seventies the Iranian students would all gather and chant down with the Shah. Seems the cowards come in two shades.

  21. Mohammed Reza Pahlavi had the Savak,a brutal police force akin to something like an Iron Curtain gang.
Anybody want to hazard a guess who trained them in their brutal tactics?

  22. The Iranians living in exile are not representative of the Iranian people living inside Iran. Most of them haven't been in Iran in several decades, and many of the younger ones weren't even born there. The pampered son of the last Shaw of Iran will never go back to Iran under any circumstance. He doesn't have the support.

  23. Blah blah blah, do something instead of holding ptotests! If the shah want's to be in power, tell him to go fight and EARN it!

  24. Where are their hijab's? they can scream that while they live in the USA, and have freedoms that their people in Iran does not have. They are not patriotic Iranians, but merely leftist scum, and only in the usa to bring the country down. Thank God for President Trump. Now go out and vote like your life depends on it because it does.

  25. Canada is turning into the UK.

Iranians, Pakistanis, Indians, Afghans, etc. Canada imported 10 million Indians alone when Trudeau was in charge.

We had better hope Carney doesn't manage to fool the Canadians into joining the EU.

That would solve a huge problem for the EU.Where to put their 'asylum seekers'

With the freedom of movement rules, the 3rd world would pour into Canada from the EU and then into the US as we have no hope of securing the northern border with the scum we have in DC.

  26. The ignorance is astounding. Iranians are not Muslim. They are Zoroastrians, descendants of Cyrus the Great. In fact, most have become atheists. And can you blame them? Interestingly, the fastest growing religion currently in Iran is Christianity. Iranians are converting because they are having visions. And of course, must practice in secrecy.

Iran was a thriving and Westernized country, 50 years ago. However, similar to the Democratic Party of today, which has been hijacked by Communists, Iranians were also fooled by the left and the promises they made.

Prior to the Iranian Revolution, Iran was prosperous, colorful and vibrant. Simply do a comparison search of photographs, taken from before and after the revolution. The contrast speaks for itself.

The Shah was not perfect, and he was not a “tyrant”or “dictator.” If this were the case, why would Iranians (both inside and outside of Iran) call for his son, HRH Pahlavi to return home? Their only plea is help to eradicate the evil Islamic Regime that currently occupies Iran. Iranians simply want their country back and to live freely. “Iranians only trust HRH Pahlavi to transition Iran from a brutal Islamic dictatorship to a functioning secular democratic society.”—Goldie Ghamari

For there to be peace, the other side had to want it too. Decades of failed negotiations is proof the Islamic Regime never desired peace. For Islamists, peace only comes through the caliphate; when the entire world has converted to Islam. Hence, why it’s called the religion of peace.

Thank God for President Trump’s courage and discernment for attacking the Islamic Regime. Not only for America’s sake, but for the world. It is astounding, that rather than be cooperative and show gratitude for having averted a nuclear war, instead, the world continues to show resistance and gives the president grief.

President Jimmy Carter, one of the worst presidents in US history, is also to blame for what ultimately transpired in Iran. In my humble opinion, it was justified for President Trump to intervene. Not only was it necessary to prevent the Islamic Regime from obtaining a nuclear weapon, but the side effect of eliminating this brutal regime opens an opportunity for change in leadership inside Iran. We owe Iran, at least this.

Iran is a beautiful country with a rich culture and hospitable people. I hope freedom comes soon. It would not be surprising if Iranians voted for a democratic monarchy. After all, it’s been their history for thousands of years.

It’s dumbfounding that people mock the Shah and monarchy, whilst Iranians are calling for their “Shah” to return home and help with the transition of a new government.

Side Note: Iranians have been begging to be armed, so that they can fight their own fight. A reminder that it’s no coincidence our Second Amendment comes right after the First.
