Americans request that the Trump Administration step in and prevent pornography and sexually explicit materials in public schools.Â
Below is a letter to President Trump from citizens in Oregon who want to protect their children in public schools from pornography and sexually explicit materials.
The citizens of Oregon need your help immediately to issue an Executive Order prohibiting Federal educational dollars to go to a state or school district that allows pornography and sexually explicit materials in K-12 schools.
Oregon is about to pass SB1098 which I term the ‘Dems Porn Forever in Schools Bill’ because it makes it illegal for a school board to remove pornographic material already in most school libraries. Here is the bill page in OLIS: https://olis.oregonlegislature.gov/liz/2025R1/Measures/Overview/SB1098
The Dems call it a bill that ‘Prohibits discrimination when selecting or retaining school library materials, textbooks or instructional materials or when developing and implementing a curriculum.’ The media calls it a bill that bans book bans.
The sexually explicit language and pornographic images in many of the books already in Oregon schools are not allowed to be introduced in legislative hearings because it violates obscenity rules in the House/Senate. It can’t even be read on the floor of either chamber. Rep. Dwayne Yunker tried to do so recently and the Dems stopped it.

The Dems speaker of the House tried to divert responsibility for this abomination by saying it was a ‘Trump style gimmick’. It is too obscene to be discussed in the legislative process but it’s ok for our kids to read it in school?
