Iran Could Start “Exploding from Within” as It’s Oil Capacity Is Stretched to the Max

The economic pain that President Trump has placed on Iran is close to “exploding from within”.

Trump said Iran could start “exploding from within” in a few days if its oil gets “clogged.”

It sounds exaggerated, but there’s truth to it.

Iran produces roughly 2 to 3.5 million barrels of oil every day, and that oil has to keep moving through ports, tankers, and export terminals like Kharg Island.

A large share of the government’s budget depends on that flow, so when exports are blocked and there’s NO EXIT ROUTE, the system doesn’t just pause, it starts backing up.

Storage tanks fill quickly, and while Iran does have capacity, somewhere in the range of 40 to 90 million barrels, that space can get used up surprisingly fast under full production.

Once those tanks hit their STORAGE LIMIT, there’s no room left to absorb anything, and that’s where the real pressure begins.

At that point, Iran is forced into a difficult position. They can either cut production and immediately lose massive daily revenue, easily over $100 million, or keep pumping oil into a system that has nowhere to send it.

That tradeoff is brutal: LOSE REVENUE OR DAMAGE INFRASTRUCTURE.

If production continues, PRESSURE BUILDUP starts inside pipelines and wells, and the crude itself begins to create problems.

Oil isn’t uniform, it contains heavier components like waxes and asphaltenes that start separating and sticking when flow slows down. This leads to clogging inside tubing and pipelines, reduced efficiency, and in some cases damage to the reservoir itself, which can make future extraction harder and more expensive.

As pressure builds, the risks expand beyond just clogging:

⚪️ Equipment is put under stress
⚪️ Safety systems get pushed
⚪️ In more extreme cases, you can see ruptures
⚪️ Longer-term infrastructure damage

It’s not about everything literally exploding at once, but the system starts degrading internally in ways that are costly and sometimes irreversible.

When Trump talks about “exploding from within,” he’s compressing all of that into a simple phrase. If you trap oil inside a system that depends on constant flow, you create physical strain that spreads quickly through the entire operation.

At the same time, this isn’t just about engineering, it’s part of a broader strategy.

This approach builds on the idea of MAXIMUM PRESSURE by going beyond financial sanctions and directly targeting Iran’s ability to export oil.

The goal is:

⚪️ Cut off revenue
⚪️ Weaken the state’s ability to fund itself
⚪️ Create internal economic stress that forces a decision

For Iran, this is exactly the situation they want to avoid.

Shutting down wells risks LONG-TERM DAMAGE to fields, while continuing production under blocked conditions risks harming infrastructure.

On top of that, losing oil revenue puts pressure on the budget, the currency, and internal stability.

So the message behind the rhetoric is fairly straightforward. If exports stay blocked, Iran is pushed into choosing between immediate financial loss and potential long-term damage to its most important industry.

That combination of physical and economic pressure is what’s meant to force movement without direct military escalation.

As expected, this means Iran’s storage capacity is full, and they have nowhere left to put their oil. The problem for them is that turning off their rigs is a nightmare as it’s not only a problem getting them to produce again (it could take months and mountains of $$), but even if they do, the damage to the fields means most are likely to never produce again at capacity, if at all. Meanwhile, they’re missing half a billion dollars a day in revenue they can’t afford to lose. Oil exports are their primary source of income.

    • No, Obongo, Bidung and other treasonous Democrats "pussy-footed" around with Iran by sticking the American people with useless, unenforceable agreements while handing off billions and billions of dollars to the number one terrorist regime in the world. What could go wrong?

  1. I could care less about IRAN, Obama and biden enriched iran and I will never forget that.
Thankfully My president is bringing iran to its knees again.

  2. These articles are moronic. Are we pretending they didn't see that their holding tanks were filling and build additional holding tanks?

"Building a crude oil holding tank typically takes between a few weeks for smaller tanks to over four months for larger terminal expansion projects. Large-scale, site-erected storage tanks, common in refineries, generally require several months, while a single, smaller, pre-fabricated vessel might be completed in a few weeks."

And what, Iran was prepared with thousands of missiles, but didn't take into account their tank accumulation rates to be prepared for where to send that oil once all national tanks are filled to capacity?

      • I dunno… how hard is it to dig a hole and line it? Its not like these things need to be “spec’d” out… Remember the film There will be Blood? just pooled on the desert ground… ;)

      • Nevermind evidently iran is shipping it all by rail anyways… so not sure how they figure it will overrun their current holding capacity…

    • Not to mention how are they paying for it? Their currency is practically worthless. Maybe they still have some obama dollars left.

    • I recall reading that the US and Israel put most of Iran's fairly significant steel industry out of business for a long time early in the war.

    • What material do you need to dig a hole in the ground and line it with an impermeable membrane? haha

  3. Mohammed say " OK Boyz, get a tent, a camel, and a 9 year old female, and head to the desert."

  4. 81% of Iran's electrical generation is by natural gas. This could be taken out by simply blowing up the pipelines as the gas is seldom "stored" on site. The plants could remain intact for the new regime.

  5. This strangling process as outlined by Trump is useless unless the citizenry can get their hands on weapons to begin their real uprising. Go around the Kurds and give arms directly to the people.

  6. Iran has always been on the offensive. They never planned on being put on the defense because they never thought they would be TRUMPED!

    • hehe yeah they did a good job capturing the national govs involved in this series of engineered events to prevent nuclear war from erupting…

  7. Some of these Iranian oil fields are 50 to 100 years old, and with all of the monies that they have made over the years and been given (by you know who) they have not updated any of this infrastructure.
It's harder and harder every year – due to blatant mismanagement – to get these fields to produce. So, the Iranians have been pumping gasoline into the fields to increase production.
Iran has no real refining capacity to produce enough gasoline for it's own needs, let alone using gasoline to facilitate oil production.
Iran has been purchasing imported gasoline from China and the Netherlands. They also used to have Venezuela on that list but that's gone now.
With no imported gasoline these wells are gone.
Once these wells are shut down it will be a logistical night mare to reopen them.
With no money coming in, the IRGC has no way to fund it's operations. And money talks, even to the "hardliners" in the regime.

  8. This is actually a problem for the Gulf States, not Iran. Iran's storage capacity is nowhere near full and most of their ships are successfully getting through the porous blockade. The US has stopped 3-4 ships while over 50 of Iran's ships have gotten through.

    • Where did you see that ships are getting through and that capacity is not an issue for Iran?

It does seem like Iran is not completely blocked.

I wonder why the US is politely telling the ships it interceptes to turn back rather than seize them.

        • I would be happy to broaden my info sources. That’s why I asked where spaceman spiff is getting his info.

Can you point me to any credible sources saying most of Iran’s ships are getting through and storage is not an issue?

      • The few they told to turn back at the beginning of the blockade were not Iranian ships. They were ships that paid the transit fee that Iran was allowing through. But now that the US stopped them Iran is no longer letting any ships through that are not Russian or Chinese. And the US isn't bothering Russian or Chinese ships.

          • Talk of MINING the strait was total bull….
HYPE about mines was a delay tactic to buy time…

Mines are not too hard to remove today from the sea… it is 2026 FFS.

Anti mining operations would take a few SHIFTS to complete…

Iran is in total control, America has to shut up it's mouth and move those carriers home.

If they stay, They will be all sunk along with the support ships tagging along.
            Nobody survives on those ships.

  9. My guess is the IRG will just dump the oil into the Gulf and keep it flowing. They have no regard for human life; they sure don't care about the water.

  10. Meanwhile in other news, the UAE has announced it is leaving OPEC and will sell oil on its own on the international market. OPEC had been screwing them for YEARS on limiting the amount they can produce and sell in that cartel. This is a good thing for them, and a bad thing for Iran.

    • Didn't Qatar and Bahrain pull out of OPEC some time ago? I seem to recall that the OPEC+ thing pretty much caved in too. How long will it be before OPEC consists only of Iran?

      • Yes they did! Well Iran and Saudi Arabia are the two biggies now left. And funny thing about Qatar and Bahrain: they along with the UAE built Formula 1 race tracks to draw the international community. Saudi Arabia also has long had an F1 track.

  11. Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright is arguably the smartest oil man in the world. Who do you think has been advising President Trump about how long the Iranians can last before this disaster befalls them ?

  12. Iran is exporting oil on tankers, rail and trucks. Yes, Israels' war we're fighting against Iran for Bibi affects their economy, but they are earning more cash now than before we attacked them due to sanctions. The real catastrophic economic damage is being done to the Gulf Arab despot states, Israel, Asia and Africa. Ultimately Europe and us. Our monetized economy relies on Muslim Sunni Arab petro dollars invested in already inflated stocks with a giant AI bubble ready to burst and propping up our treasury bond auctions to finance $40 Trillion debt. Iran has Washington by its' testicles if they try more bombing. Iran will wipe out the Arab oil and gas infrastructure. Their missile cities are underground, most haven't been used and some can withstand nukes. Even if we nuke Tehran, they can launch missiles into the nuke reactor in Israel wiping that European colony out. The best is for Trump to declare victory and pivot to his campaign promises.

  13. The attack seems to have been on the JEWS, Launched by President Trump.

President Trump made Iran and ARAB attacks fall on JEW interests….and sustenance.

With a clever use of Jew HATE.

You will see what i mean soon.

    • Bad idea, why create another environmental disaster? I say we just start taking Iranian oil until it pays for this war.

  14. PAYBACK is a Btich.

BIBI not being around to move the players directly BLEW THE JEW DEAL AWAY.

No more reloads, That fancy free American tax money thing is dead.

Now you have to stand in measure to enraged counter forces all around your cut off position….

Your ONLY escape is the MED….. A very long gauntlet.

  15. This was always the plan.

Bleed Iran dry of any income and destroy the economy so people revolt and the reasonable military get rid of the hard core deep state dictators.

The fake news and panicans in the alternative media are running around with their hair on fire. Ignore them all.

    • The IRGC are for the most part detested by the "Artesh", which are the regular Iranian army. The reason is The IRGC always got the best pay, best equipment, best of everything. The Artesh was the Shah's army and was always held under suspicion by the IRGC.
With Iran in this state of flux, I wouldn't be surprised if the Artesh refuse to obey the IRGC.
This must be a consideration for the Iranians.

  16. If they are forced to shutdown due to lack of storage, then water will start to back fill the wells and they are ruined.

      • Sucks even more to be a country dependent on them. We are all going to feel pain from this. Just some of the things that come out of that area, Aluminum, Helium used to make advanced computer chips, fertilizer for food production, Sulfur for fertilizer and is used to make sulfuric acid, that is used in mining. I hope you get the gist now, gonna suck being us.

  17. And thanks to the US Navy , the triangle choke hold they put on the region won't let anybody in or out. The US Navy locked the doors weeks ago. Iran thought they could hold the world hostage with the Strait. Now their oilfields are dying without President Trump targeting ordinance on them.
Gotta' love it when the plan comes together.

  18. UAE is almost destroyed as the fake state it was. Iron Dome is a joke, it doesn’t work. It relies on our antiquated interceptor missiles for which we are almost out at $6 Million a pop. 2 to 6 are fired at incoming targets with a minimal success rate. The hypersonic maneuverable missiles used by Iran now there is no chance to hit. Research the physics involved. Drone swarms overwhelm anything at this point. $6 million missile for a $10k drone. Do the math.

  19. PDJT told them what was needed; they chose not to do that so now they will learn the hard way. Not a smart move.

  20. The Spiritual Biblical Israel will never be destroyed. The current fake Israel run by European athiest socialist pedophiles is satanic. Any society which uses a freak like Epstein to blackmail our ruling kleptocrats is not Godly. Or who genocide all their neighbors. Netanyahu is a war criminal who will go to jail in Israel itself due to corruption if he stops his wars. Read your Bible.

      • Anti-Semite?
90% of modern Israelis are not Semites. God smote 10 of the original tribes who were Semite and Jewish and scattered the rest.
Palestinians are Semite and split into Muslim, Christians and Jews by faith. Israelis kill all of them and bombed synagogues in Iran.

  21. Trying to ship it by rail. It takes weeks and more expensive too and they can't ship as large of quantities

    • Could be, but better than not making room somehow and getting paid… Its like everyone thinks in terms of absolutes and can’t make other choices than the ones always presented as Do or Die.

  22. I don't give a flying sand flea about what happens to Iran. They have killed plenty of Americans over the last almost fifty years. Whatever the mullahs get, they deserve. Unfortunately the everyday Iranian is caught in the middle. The quicker the mullahs are exterminated the better for all.

  23. "They can either cut production and immediately lose massive daily revenue, easily over $100 million … That tradeoff is brutal: LOSE REVENUE OR DAMAGE INFRASTRUCTURE." Actually, both ways equate to a loss of revenue. Finally, after 47 years of cowering to that evil nation, TRUMP is showing the world how easy it is to put them in their place.

  24. Truth!
Oil has a shelf life on par with other petroleum distillates.

The wells can be re-drilled and Fracked, but at great cost in time and money.

As for the infrastructure; it could be like a stalled cement truck, where the cost to clean it out is on par with building a new one.

If you didn't notice, "on par" is the phrase of the day. Lol

  25. Imagine Terrorists with no money, no weapons, no communications infrastructure and NO HELP from anyone…
    "whoa is me"

  26. Imagine Terrorists with no money, no weapons, no communications infrastructure and NO HELP from anyone…
    "whoa is me"

    • Maybe, but tough circumstances call for whatever measures alleviate the problem. Better than letting it destroy existing infrastructure.

  27. Ah yes…gotta here from the Eurocrats who aren’t content to ruin their own countries, so they’re commenting about geopolitical affairs…laughable.

  28. Huh, nobody learned a thing from Saddam did they ??? Iran is just going to start pumping oil into the gulf ! Then sit back and laugh as we get savaged by the world!!! You have wasted a month talking to people who WANT to see the end days !! Jeeeez , wake up !!

  29. I think the big day is tomorrow, since Trump posted on Truth Social that Iran's oil infrastructure is going to self destruct in 3 days. Trump also posted today that Iran called him to tell him they are in a state of collapse. You would think at least some of this stuff would be too ridiculous for even the most sycophantic to believe, but I guess not.

  31. If Iran produces $100m of oil daily, why the heII did Obama give them millions of dollars in cash?

    • Because it was part of the JCPOA, to unfreeze their assets and lift sanctions. The part of the agreement the US never lived up to.

    • Interestingly enough, this is exactly why Ukraine has been attacking different parts of Russian energy production. Despite Trump dropping oil sanctions, Russia hasn't been able to just open the taps & sell to their heart's content.

Ukraine was considering actually destroying Russian energy production in the way the article describes, but originally both Pedophi|e Joey & the Europeans wouldn't permit it. Now it seems like instead of just destroying Russian's pipelines &c. they're blowing away tiny bits so that Russia has to continuously scramble just to maintain domestic production.

There's a saying I don't remember from my time in the military but apparently it's become popular: that one shouldn't concentrate on destroying the enemy so much as forcing them to face dilemmas.

        • Keep trying, petukh. Joe’s own daughter was the source (which is why the SS illegally try to recover her diaries) whereas Trump’s frequent mentions were due to Epstein HATING Trump & Trump being one of the original police sources.

  32. I'm sure they will try to blame it on DJT when it does explode. I just have a smile on my face.

  33. Maybe fill the tankers and send them to the USA where we'll exchange it for some dollars and resell it to other countries and Iran see's no money for any of it. Sounds good to me. The other option is a total shut down of their oil production which will cause its own set of issues. Theyre screwed either way! Ha ha

  34. Crickets on the GCC states that had to shut down their production over a month ago. They are in far worse shape than Iran who still has storage capacity and is still selling their oil.

  35. This is the first major war in over a hundred years that the USA has had to fight on its own and it has exposed its lack of ability to protect its allies in the ME. The USA has made the world a far more dangerous place.

    • Not in the least of which is because the US just proved to the world that if you don't want to be attacked by the United States you need a nuclear weapon. And if you expect the United States to protect you, never mind, you need a nuclear weapon.

    • Wow, the stupid is strong in you. The world would be a far more dangerous place if Iran had nukes. And I guess you forgot that Israel is involved, so the USA is NOT "fight on its own".

      • I wish Iran would get that nuke already or the US govt will be accusing them for another 40 years. It must be a special kind of stupid to believe Iran is 2 weeks away for 30 years, despite the CIA and Mossad analysts saying for over 20 years that Iran isn't working on a nuclear weapon, the IAEA saying Iran doesn't even have a nuclear weapons program after inspecting their nuclear sites for 10 years, the Ayatollah issuing a decree banning Iran from having a nuclear weapon, and Iran being a signatory of the NPT swearing off developing nuclear weapons. The media gets you all scared and now you want to kill women and children.

"Those who can be made to believe absurdities can be made to commit atrocities." – Voltaire

    • This is the story of WHY the ******* is The Boss!
All the body parts realized there would be chaos without direction. So they had a meeting to decide who would be the boss. The Brain said "I'm the boss. I make all the decisions!" The heart said "oh no, I'm the boss. I pump all the blood, and without me you'd die. The Lungs said " Hey wait a minute! I breath in all the air and filter all the poison out of it. I should be boss!" The Feet said "NO I should be boss. I take you everywhere. You'd be nowhere without me".
The ******* calmly listened, then said. I'M THE BOSS, & I'M ON STRIKE until you all concede!
The other body parts laughed, went back to work. The ******* shut down.
After awhile The Brain could no longer function. The Heart was taxed to the max. The lungs were breathing heavy, The Stomach was stuffed and backed up. The Feet tired wouldn't go anywhere. Finally they all had to give up and concede.
THAT'S WHY THE ******* WILL ALWAYS BE THE BOSS.

  36. I would suppose if their tanks are full, they have to stop production. I don't understand the flow thing I guess. They can just turn off the oil rig can't they?

    • The answer to your question is no they can't turn off the oil rig without causing massive damage underneath. If they "cap", that well may possibly be permanently damaged.
The Iranians just pulled an old tanker out of mothballs to fill up because they're running out of storage.
This is the reason why Trump has been saying he's not in a hurry. He knows that the Iranians are running out of storage, because his administration includes oil men. The entire Iranian oil fields are nearing a potential irreversible disaster.

    • No they can't, "turning it off" degrades the wells up to the point of being impossible to recover, and it creates great dangers.
They are between a bomb and a nuke.

  37. You can sort of shut down the well pumping, but the pressure will build. When the storage tanks are full, with no way to ship it elsewhere, good luck moving any more product.

    • Unlike air or gasses, a volume of fluid (such as oil) cannot be compressed into a smaller space. Therefore, when a tank is full, it is full.

    • Sure, but have they? All focus is on the straight which is only 1/5th of the worlds oil supply… its not even like they’re choking off a big percentage… and they pretend the worlds ending and the corporations start their price gouging of the consumers under the cover of Lies in the media…

  38. during the covid scam, oil prices briefly went negative because demand was so low and letting it go negative briefly was cheaper than shutting it down

  39. Since I do not see it mentioned, I will add this:
oil must not only keep moving (away from the wells once they have been started) but must BE KEPT WARMISH AT ALL TIMES. Otherwise it becomes an unholy mess of semisolid parts and various chemicals, totally useless.
ALL THE MEGA (or small) CRUDE TANKERS have a heating system for the tanks, and so must have the pipes etc. (unless the pressure is high enough to keep it flowing, and warmish).

You need a lot of electricity to store all that at the right temperature. A lot.

The right cuts in the power grid would annihilate the entire production/movement.

    Just saying.

    • yes, and of all the miscalculations that the Iranians have made in this conflict, this will be the biggest one of all.

        • Being consistently wrong and on the wrong side of every geopolitical issue is an enhancement for their own resumes.

    • That means the longer the US blockade of Iran oil, Iran will go back to stone age, no oil, no money for anything. This is worser than bombs.

      • Iran is just going to pump the oil into the gulf! Then sit back and laugh. What do we do then ?!?!

        • Let them pump it into the sea. It is their choice. The IRGC is a thug/gangster/murderer association. They have to be eradicated or they will continue their world-wide terror crusade forever.

        • Who cares? You know oil seeps into the gulf of America naturally all the time. Iran ain’t making money if they pump it it into the Gulf which is a cesspool already anyway. No money, they wither away!

        • Light a match?
          Call al Gore?
          Spray dawn dishwashing liquid?
After filling our Strategic Petroleum Reserve, do what we did for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill (the largest offshore oil spill in history).
          installing a 75-ton "capping stack."

      • worser?

Expect to pay a lot more for fuel for the long term due to Trump's failure in Iran, the market manipulation can only hold back the rapid price shock for the short term.

        Despite was Donald tells you.

      • Funny part is Germany says Trumpmis losing the war! Shows you just how stupid Germany is! He is not only winning but will leave a lasting dent in Irans oil capacity forever!

    • Oil fields generally have their own generators. But either way they are in a world of hurt if they have to slow or stop pumping on any legacy wells they are just too hard to restart and drilling a new well doesn't work 90 percent of the time.

      • I wonder if it's possible with precision strikes to knock out those generators and the grid power lines serving the fields. That'd leave the civilian population with power, at least for a while.

    • Thank you for sharing this, this makes alot of sense. Its funny how some of the best comments here come from people with no accolades from disqus, Funny how that works?

    • Now would be the PRIME time to send an entire armada of our empty tankers over there.
      Line 'em up.
      Fill 'em up.
      Repeat.
Return to restock our Strategic Petroleum Reserve that Bidet emptied out (if it hasn't been restocked already).
Keep the entire process going until Iran finally caves.
No revenue to Iran, but it would be the way to preserve the pumping/storage system while at the same time starving the rats out of their holes.

    • Then there's the amount of oil being held in ONE place… A single match could end their commerce for YEARS! Of course the companies who make that equipment would be tickled pink! Hmmm wonder who they are?!

    • I would like to know the one idiot who gave you a down vote. Did you say something offensive? Must have been a Bluesky freak.

  40. 9 weeks in and Iran has more influence than they did prior to the war.
    You commenters are deluding yourselves.

  41. Let's not underestimate a desperate regime. They might even dump the oil into the gulf or pour it onto the ground before they give up.

The lefties will simply add 'Environmental Terrorist' to Trump's long list of "crimes". Yeah, they will find a way to pin that on him.

  42. "The economic pain that President Trump has placed on Iran is close to 'exploding from within. Similar to the terrorist loving, America hating, POTUS Trump hating, dimoKKKrat fascists heads."

    • I did ai research and the answer to your question lists several nations facing famine conditions, and it is being blocked by this platform. TGP is Censoring most likely outcomes of the Strait of Hormuz being closed.

    • Iran won't face famines. Asia and Africa will. Our farmers going bankrupt and look forward to spiking grocery costs this fall and $10 gas.

  43. A small child can see the NEEDS are for that oil, Not the NEED to keep it flowing.

A CLOG is the WORST thing for President Trump…. so this is all talk Joe.
Iran can withstand a TON more than the weak North American can under the current demand structure.

Iran has ALL the cards and controls the PORT…. Blowing up Kharg is a 'CrapStormSquared' so he has to STFU and move the carriers OUT of the area or lose them to WAR.

    This is ALREADY over Joe.

  44. Many are ignoring the Russia Iran China unified Military axis.
They all recently had Military exercises in the Gulf before the war.
We are not ready for any surprises as too much hubris and overconfidence swamps the Swamp.

    • America imports no oil from Iran. I think you need lessons in math or politics, and probably English too judging by your clueless post.

          • That's moronic….
The few attacks and America had to move WAYYYYY BACK… fire FIVE gas cans on a F/A-18…. and NO WEAPONS…. and YOUR dumb brain thinks you won?
One aircraft carrier had to withdraw for emergency repairs during the attacks….

Once the Jews water desalination plants all got hit… things went PROPAGANDA 100% after those attacks, UAE training centre wiped out, Saudi DUCKING big blasts….Major power grid fails all over Jew land…

You are all so full of crap it's not ever going to be funny.

          • That's moronic….

  45. I have a friend who has a business building big tanks. The last one he built was in the arctic. It was 48 feet high and something like + 200 feet in diameter. He needs some business this year.

  46. It's the Flintstones
    Meet the Flintstones

  47. Go to vesselfinder dot com and zoom in on the Straight of Hormuz. Click on the ships and you'll see that the orange ones are tankers. Compare this to the lines of tankers heading towards Houston.

  48. Maybe we send in empty tankers, TO TAKE AWAY THE EXCESS OIL FOR FREE .

Iran makes NO MONEY, BUT SAVES THEIR INFRASTRUCTURE

  49. Why don't we find the nearest empty tanker and start filling it and let it through the strait so it can be sold to our allies? Don't give them any of the money. Then find US flagged tankers and keep selling their oil to finance the cost of this war while we wait them out. It shouldn't take long. That way we don't destroy their oilfields and the people will have something to build their country again while depriving them of any revenue.

  50. We should offer Iran a way to avoid destruction of oil infrastructure. We allow in a few tankers a day. The oil will be sold to Asia ( minus China) Europe and South America. Transactions are done only in US dollars. Proceeds are deposited in escrow account to be released gradually once a sustainable peace agreement is concluded. If China can be trusted to not flow payments back outside of the blockade, then China can also participate (doubtful). This way they save their infrastructure, and get their money once an acceptable deal is concluded.

  51. I voted for Trump but he verbalizes too much. He's made statements that oppose prior statements so I cant discern falsehoods from truth. Unfortunately it seems The reports of irans death are greatly exaggerated. I wish it weren't true but here we are negotiating with terrorists.

    • He's negotiating with Armenian rug merchants. They understand trash talk which is why Trump is doing it. That and he just likes trash-talking.

    • You gotta understand there is a strategy to Trump being inconsistent, contradictory, and confusing. It's the fog of war, if we don't know what's really going on, neither does the media or Iranians.

There's no way in hell Trump is going to say what's really going on, especially to our own media..

  52. The word on the street is the well can only go 7 days with no place for the oil to go and a restart isnt fesable.

    • Yep, he said it to Maria Bartiromo. I heard it myself. He said Iran has three days before their infrastructure starts to self destruct. The Big Day is tomorrow. Whoohoo. Can't you just smell the victory.

  53. There is no point for the President to negotiate if his is already in the driver's seat while Iran has a very little time left to breathe. Cannot wait for the republic of muslim next move.

  54. The ONLY evidence you have is 'Trump said"? Sorry that isn't evidence. That's propaganda. I've listened to plenty of people who know more about the situation in Iran with oil and this is all a bunch of malarky. They aren't nearing capacity for storage. Iran is still shipping their oil to other countries. Three warships that are 400miles away can't stop much.
Just like Trump claiming that their government is in shambles. That isn't true either. They have different perspectives with different parties just like the the US, Europe, Russia, etc. Their government and people are all united against the US. Those pictures of people surrounding gov buildings, nuclear facilities, etc are all organic and a big middle finger to the US. Totally mockery.

    • There are many more than 3 ships, and there are also planes, drones, satellites.

      Iran is being strangled.

    • And the bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon, 1983.
And the first WTC bomb in 1993.
And of course the WTC airline attack.

      • Noether’s First Theorem demanding achiral isotropic vacuum for conservation of pseudovector angular momentum is contradicted by the 0.6 ppb relative excess of right-handed Weak Interaction matter over left-handed Weak Interaction antimatter post-Big Bang. This is curve-fit by ridiculous undetectable Dark Matter. Now, tuck your shirt into your pants and wiggle your worm elsewhere.

  55. The Oil and Gas is backing up with nowhere to go. Like your garden hose that works fine on 25 psi but not at 125 psi. Oil spills coming on land and sea.
If Iran shuts off its Wells they only perform at 50% when turned back on.

Landman is going to need a serious rewrite and plots.

    • It's not a problem since, despite the claims of Iran's demise by Trump and the fake news media, they are still shipping more oil now than before the war. I liked it better when Trump called out the fake news. Not so much now that he's become fake news.

  56. Sooo predicated on this Iran has less than 20-30 days MOST likely much less. So, wait until they IMPLODE! It's must be close!

  57. Is it possible that there largest can factory Tabriz Can Industries can put the oil in stored cans and hold out until this blows over?

  58. CAN IRAN EMPTY THEIR STORAGE TANKS BY DESTROYING the oil, burning it or by some other means, in order to avoid shutting off their wells, and to buy time for congress or public protest to stop the blockade, particularly after the two months runs out…

    • Iran doesn't have this problem, the Gulf States do. Iran is still shipping more oil than before the war. The US naval blockade was declared when there's not even enough ships to fully enforce it. This is more evidence that they are just making things up as they go along.

  59. Iran's population is 93 million and can feed themselves . They will maintain oil production for domestic use electricity gasoline propane etc. Their main problem is in the future. They will have to redrill all those wells which will take years . Their income stream will be broken

    • Famine for many countries globally. Fertilizer for food production and distribution costs out of reach.

    • The petro dollars is crashing also.
Americans will be heavily impacted, and the information will be censored.

      • Most Americans have no idea how our monetized economy functions. The use of $US Dollars to buy GCC oil and gas is spent to prop up our stock markets and purchase treasury bonds to float our crushing debt. Not only are the petrodollars drying up, the oil transported through the Hormuz is being paid for in Yuan or crypto currency. The loss of fertilizer and helium will cause famines abroad and massive inflation at home right about mid terms. Chip production in Taiwan is going to slow or end. There are thousands of supply chain items affected. At best we will see recession and longer Trump vacillates to pull back we will see a depression worse than 1929.

        • Iran has implemented a “yuan-for-passage” mandate, allowing tankers to bypass the Strait if they settle transactions in Chinese Yuan, which disrupts the traditional cycle of Gulf states recycling dollar profits into U.S. Treasury bonds. One example

    • Iran cannot feed their own population without inports. Their domestic consumption is minimal compared to their exports. They cannot survive this much longer, and risk destroying the one infrastructure they cannot afford to lose.

  60. Because the US is nothing but a murderous, thieving country. We gave Iran nothing. We stole everything from them just like we did to Russia.

The United States directly holds approximately $2 billion in frozen Iranian assets. This includes funds, gold, and other property.
An additional $50 million in real estate and accumulated rent is also frozen in the U.S., including a Manhattan skyscraper seized by the U.S. government.
While the U.S. holds $2 billion directly, tens of billions more are frozen globally in countries like South Korea, China, and Japan due to U.S. sanctions.

  61. Just Iran? How about the whole world? Trump has completely lost the script by continuing the cease fire. He has NO cards. He should drop the sieve of a blockade farce, get to the negotiating table and end this. Things are starting to get bad worldwide. And bound to get MUCH worse. SMH……..

    • Give me break. The blockade is going just fine. The negotiations involve nothing more than Iran coming to terms with their own complete surrender. Your doom and gloom is baseless.

      • You have what is called normalcy bias. Nothing can happen because it hasn't happened. My grandparents and great grandparents lived through two world wars with the Great Depression in between. They didn't suffer from normalcy bias.

        • So you're fully aware that had Iran gotten nukes, they certainly would have used them on the US. Cause they don't suffer from normalcy bias.

          • In what way? They have almost a half a ton of 60% enriched uranium meaning "breakout" (or 90% enriched) is merely weeks away. Obama said breakout was around a month and used it as reasoning for the JCPOA which expired last October. Hence, breakout was inevitable.

          • If Iran wanted a nuclear weapon they would have had one 20+ years ago. They've been "weeks away" for 1560 weeks. If anything, we've not only convinced Iran that they should have built that weapon, but much of the world too. If you don't want to be attacked by the United States, you need a nuclear weapon. And equally as bad is now that everyone has seen our security guarantees (the Gulf States) are worthless, others who thought they were under our security umbrella will now say they need a nuclear weapon since the US can't protect them. So look to countries like Japan, South Korea, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc to get nuclear weapons too.

        • I simply made a couple of valid assessments based on the current situation. I made no prognostications. The Iran Conflict is fluid and volatile and yet we're in control and calling the shots. The OP is a Doomer's portrayal (and the Media in general) of this state of affairs under Trump.

Meanwhile, "normalcy bias" would apply to the Media under Biden. Case in point: Biden's 9% inflation was referred to as "transitory" (no such thing). Biden surrendered Afghanistan and it was declared a peaceful withdrawal. Oil hit almost $140/barrel under Biden and it was blamed on the Ukrainian/Russia war when oil was $120/barrel before that war even started.

  62. Gas prices are just the beginning. Everything will be skyrocketing. Every day that goes by is compounding the severity of what we will all suffer.
You might want to buy some canned food now.

  63. would China or Russia want to bail them out?- pay for their Revolutionary Guard troops? If so why? My view is that China just wants cheap oil and Russia has it's hands full with the Ukraine war- am I missing something?

  64. Do nothing, US beaches will not be affected!

If Iran pumps into the Persian Gulf, then maybe Greenpeace will invade Iran and Gretha Thunberg can lead the invasion.

  65. What about the Gulf States who had to start shutting down production a month ago? How come they haven't exploded?

  66. "Alright, citizens of Iran. I want you to line up with your pots and pails,
to help your country during this struggle with the great satan."
    /s

  67. YAY! Another 4 weeks!

6 weeks ago, it was another 2 weeks, then another 2 weeks.

After another 2 weeks went by that someone didn't say another 2 weeks, I was worried.

Thanks for letting us know it's another 4 weeks!

    I was concerned….

  68. So in other words Donald is admitting that the oil shock will continue long into the future and that the price of oil will only climb, despite current market manipulation and his constant fake proclamations that are meant to convey otherwise.

      • Gee, it all sounds like the same lies that lied us into Iraq. "The next mushroom cloud you see could be over one of our cities." – National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice lying us into the Iraq war.

  69. So Donald is essentially telling us that the price we pay for gas/oil/helium and everything depending upon it (including goods being transported, flights, products produced using it) will be going up and staying higher.

That is supposed to be good news? Every third day Trump tries to manipulate oil futures with his lies, while insiders time his announcements with their trading…

Are we supposed to believe Donald (Iran is finished, their oil infrastructure will go offline, and it cannot be sold) or Donald (Iran wants us to open the Strait and profit off of their oil, it will begin flowing again soon)…

which lying liar lie should we believe today?

    • My, my look at the person hitting the panic button. Hey, if you got a good investment guy you'd be making bank off this. And you might want to check where we get our oil (hint: it's not from Iran).

  70. Liberals take Trump literally but not seriously. Conservatives take Trump seriously but not literally. Get the difference?

    • Yeah, I get that he can say any dam fool thing and it's just the coolest thing ever. Except Iran sees him saying things completely removed from reality and wonder how they are ever supposed to come to any agreement with this guy.

  71. wow now that would be sad! Iranians losing all that oil for ever because they are to stupid to know they lost the turkey shoot?

  72. the silver, gold, and cattle on 10,000 hills..and all oil belongs to the King of King of King's
and Lord of Lords, JESUS. there's your daily bread.
