In these Dark Days of Missouri Politics, One Man is Standing Out as Hero for Missouri and the Nation – Meet Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey

By Joe Hoft & Toni Viens

Attorney General Andrew Bailey is the 44th Attorney General (AG) from the State of Missouri. He is a decorated Army combat veteran, father of four, prosecutor, and constitutional conservative who is championing the protection of Missouri citizens through election integrity, tax relief, child safety, consumer protection, and more.

The following are highlights of four of Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s lawsuits filed to protect the rights of the people.

Election Integrity: On May 10, 2024, Attorney General Andrew Bailey (AG Bailey) interviewed with Fox News anchor Stuart Varney regarding the abuse of the Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) against former President Donald J. Trump. In this regard, AG Bailey has obtained evidence that Biden’s DOJ maybe serving as the apex for ongoing prosecution and election interference of President Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.

AG Bailey states, “The investigations and subsequent prosecutions of former President Donald J. Trump appear to have been conducted in coordination with the United States Department of Justice. This is demonstrated only in part by the move of the third-highest ranking member of the Department of Justice, Matthew Colangelo, to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in order to prosecute former President Donald J. Trump in the so-called ‘hush money’ trial . . . In addition, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg worked alongside New York Attorney General Letitia James in pursuing civil litigation against former President Trump.”

AG Baily is requesting all communications between the DOJ and people prosecuting or investigating Trump. AG Baily stated, “prosecutors have an ethical obligation not to bring forward frivolous lawsuits not supported by the facts or the law.” This was reported less than a week ago.

Child Safety: Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey on May 7, 2024, stated, “In complete disregard for the rights of women, the Department of Education’s new regulatory requirements force educational programs that receive federal money to accept a radical transgender ideology.

Riley Gaines is working for women’s right to compete in fair and honest competitions.

Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any educational program that receives federal money, including K-12 schools, colleges, and universities. The new rule ignores these protections for women by forcing educational programs to accommodate biological males’ desire to enter female-only spaces and join female-only organizations. If schools ignore these requirements in an attempt to protect women’s rights, the federal government will revoke their funding.”

AG Bailey plans to co-lead a multistate coalition in filing suit against the Biden Administration’s unconstitutional rewrite of Title IX forcing schools and universities to allow biological males in female spaces.

Tax Relief: Attorney General Andrew Bailey became very concerned with the property assessment procedures in Jackson County (Kansas City), Missouri for tax year 2023, where property assessment and resultant property taxes increased dramatically from the prior years. Many Jackson County property owners were unable to pay their property taxes. Adding to the problem was Gail McCann Beatty, the Jackson County Director of Assessment and Frank White, the County Executive, neither of whom provided any meaningful relief to property owners.

Thankfully, Attorney General Andrew Bailey became involved in the situation. On December 19, 2023, State Attorney General Bailey brought forth a legal action against Frank White in his official capacity as Jackson County’s Executive Director, Gail McCann Beatty in her official capacity as Jackson County Director of Assessment, Jackson County Legislature, Jackson County Board of Equalization and Tyler Technologies, Inc. (partially owned by Blackrock, an Investment Management and Financial Services firm with trillions of dollars of assets under management and the entity buying many single-family homes across the United States).

This was reported here in December, 2023.

BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: Missouri AG and State Auditor Taking on Unlawful Excessive Property Tax Assessments Affecting Hundreds of Thousands – Blackrock Owned Firm Involved

“In a lawsuit scheduled to go to trial on June 6th, General Bailey [Attorney General Andrew Bailey] asserts that Jackson County caused significant economic harm to residents when it dramatically and illegally increased property owner’s assessments which resulted in undue taxes. Attorney General Bailey’s lawsuit alleges that county officials violated state law when they failed to give timely and proper notice of assessments, failed to perform the required physical inspections of certain property, and handled appeals of their property assessments in an illegal and dysfunctional manner.”

Consumer Protection:  Attorney General Bailey continues to champion free speech and consumer protection. In March 2024, AG Bailey filed a lawsuit after allegations materialized that Media Matters, “deceitfully manipulated X’s [previously known as Twitter] algorithm to place advertisers’ content next to contrived controversial posts, causing X to suffer astronomical financial losses when affected advertisers pulled their money from the site. Media Matters has been outspoken in its attempts to defame X for its refusal to censor disfavored viewpoints.”

Media Matters has been unable to control X, and, as a result, Media Matters has attempted to destroy X. As stated in the lawsuit, “because they [Media Matters] cannot control X, or the free speech platform X provides allowing Missourians to express their own viewpoints in the public square, the radical ‘progressives’ at Media Matters have resorted to fraud. . . Missourians will not be manipulated by ‘progressive’ activists masquerading as news outlets, and they [Missourians] will not be defrauded in the process.”
