If you can’t get behind this, you don’t deserve to be an American.

I don't usually watch the fights and my sons were excited that I sat and watched with them. They filled me in on the fighters, what as going on, why they were waiting to call the fight. That the Big Mike comment came from a guy who always says outrageous stuff. It was great.

I have, and I had four different boxes set up in each room with a TV. The option was "homeowner" and "guest" in the watch button option. And you had to keep hitting a button on the remote about every 15 minutes to ensure you were really watching TV and not walking away.
That included any streaming services on each TV, which I had at the time on top of my cable company (Prime, Peacock, Disney+) which all had individual household user accounts. A rating comes back for EACH channel watched in a household. Also, a separate device like a tablet for watching is also tracked.
And yes, they pay you for the monitoring and having to hit the button every 15 minutes on the remote. I was monitored for six months and paid for each month, which I'm not allowed to disclose publicly because everyone is paid differently depending on a variety of things. That compensation included checks and gift cards.

Yeah they've made it more painless these days. This was only a few years ago. Now they interview you in person in your home before they decide to set up the boxes. They want to know how serious you are and your family situation. Even down to if you are retired or employed and where, if you have kids living on college campuses, etc.
