Today is Columbus Day, a holiday celebrating Christopher Columbus and the early explorers that led to the founding of America.

Kamala said Columbus perpetrated violence while the rest of America celebrates Columbus Day.
Today is not Columbus Day. Our holidays have been changed so government workers can have a 3-day weekend. Changing the dates of historical events so government employees can have a 3-day weekend is perverse. Here is a list of changed holidays, Wahington’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, MLK Day, also Presidents Day removed Lincoln’s Birthday and combined Washington’s. So instead of remembering two great presidents, we now honor all presidents, even if they were not in the same league with those two great men.
I was in a restaurant last night picking up food. There were two couples sitting at a table. One of the men mentioned Columbus Day and one of the women corrected him stating you mean indigenous peoples day. The were typical white upper middle class people.

If it wasn’t for Christopher Columbus and other European explorers, Kamala would be living in a grass hut with rest of her indigenous friends. There would be no running water, no sewerage system, no highways, no indoor heating, no air conditioning, no automobiles, no hospitals, no modern medical procedures. The list is endless. And most importantly no vice presidency. Why are these non whites always so angry? We built a great country prosperous country and allowed those we conquered along the way to share in the spoils and all we get in return is anger, resentment and hatred. They even have to nerve to insist that this country was built on their backs. The railroads were built on the backs of Chinese immigrants for crying out loud. I don’t here the Chinese crying and whining.
