German Chancellor Scholz Joins List of Corrupt Politicians with Black Eyes

German Chancellor Scholz joined a growing list of corrupt politicians seen with black eyes.

The current German Chancellor tweeted a picture of himself with a black eye that he says he received over the weekend (see above).

ABC reported on the Chancellor:

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Monday tweeted a pirate-style picture of himself with a black eye patch and dark-red bruises on the right side of his face — the result of a jogging accident on the weekend.

“Am excited to see the memes,” the chancellor wrote in the caption.

To deflect any possible worries about his health, on the photo, which appears to have been taken at the chancellery, Scholz smiled slightly and also wrote: “Thanks for the well wishes, it looks worse than it is!”

Chancellor Scholz joins the growing list of politicians who have received black eyes while in office.

A Secret Service agent reported that Bill Clinton received a black eye while in office.  The agent claimed he got it from Hillary.

The US Secret Service agent who first raised concerns about Monica Lewinsky’s access to the White House is set to publish a book claiming Hillary Clinton “lacks the integrity and temperament” to serve as president.

Gary Byrne, who also claims to have “personally observed” Bill Clinton’s infidelities, has blasted Mrs Clinton’s “appalling leadership style”, describing her as “volcanic, impulsive, enabled by sycophants, and disdainful of the rules set for everyone else.”

The book, which is due to be released on 28 June, a month before Mrs Clinton is likely to be named the Democratic presidential candidate, also alleges Mrs Clinton gave her husband a black eye during a fight in the White House while he was president.

Mitt Romney showed up with a black eye in public in March of 2021.  Romney said he received it from a fall.

Sen. Mitt Romney was knocked unconscious when he fell in Boston over the weekend, leaving him with “a lot of stitches” and a black eye.

“I took a fall. Knocked me unconscious. But I’m doing better,” Romney told reporters on Capitol Hill Monday night.

The Utah Republican said he was visiting his grandchildren when he got injured.

The former crooked Head of the US Senate, Harry Reid received a black eye as well.  Eventually Reid said that some exercise equipment snapped and caused him to fall and hit his face.  But this was contested with his brother even admitting he made up a story about Harry’s black eye.

No, Harry Reid was not beaten up by his brother, says the man who concocted the false rumor to explain the Senate minority leader’s injuries after an exercise accident several months ago.

Larry Pfeifer told the Las Vegas Sun that he made up the story after being appalled that conservative blogger John Hinderaker published a rumor that Reid’s injuries occurred as a result of a Mafia enforcer roughing him up.

“It was just so outrageous,” Pfeifer told the Sun. “The fact that someone can say something completely false that can destroy somebody’s life, it’s just wrong. Where’s the moral compass?”

Pfeifer said he fabricated the story that Reid’s brother Larry showed up drunk to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting on New Year’s Eve and claimed he had beaten up a relative.

Pfeifer, whom the Sun describes as a former consultant in the nightclub and entertainment industry, said he thought the episode “would be over in a day and a half.”

Hinderaker, who was guest hosting Laura Ingraham’s radio show when Pfeifer called in, said later that he had “absolutely no idea” whether the tale was factual. Pfeifer “called me and told me this story,” Hinderaker said. “He’s related it consistently. Whether he’s right or not, I don’t know.”

Rush Limbaugh also passed along the story but stopped short of presenting it as fact. Still, Pfeifer blasted their decision to broadcast it without properly vetting the details or the source.

“They had no problem using a story that had nothing but some guy’s word,” said Pfeifer, who said he used the pseudonym Easton Elliott to spread the tale. “Not one of them knew my real name. I didn’t even give them my phone number.”
