The Fallout from Archbishop Vigano’s Message to Pope Leo

The Fallout from Archbishop Vigano’s Message to Pope Leo

Archbishop Vigano’s letter to Pope Leo was a straightforward list of questions for the new Pope to answer regarding actions by Pope Francis and the direction of the Catholic Church.

by Aldo Maria Valli

The letter to Leo XIV from Monsignor Carlo Maria Viganò [here] has the merit of confronting the Pope with inescapable questions. And since it comes not from a fanatical ideologue but from a faithful servant of the Church, it fully warrants being taken seriously by anyone questioning what has become of a Church that still calls itself Catholic but, in essence, no longer is.

The story of his journey within the Church speaks for Viganò. His was a long career in the service of the Holy See: the diplomatic corps, the Secretariat of State, Nigeria, the Governorate, and the Nunciature to the United States. His efforts to combat corruption in Vatican City are well known to those familiar with that world. His 2018 dossier—accusing Francis and other high-ranking officials of covering up the McCarrick scandal—remains a formidable indictment. The isolation and threats he faced in return demonstrate that he struck a raw nerve.

The archbishop is sincere when he retraces his gradual discovery of the root of the problems. Formed within the post-conciliar Church, he eventually realized that the crisis certainly did not begin with Francis. The time bomb had been ticking long before and exploded with the Second Vatican Council.

That council was not an “aggiornamento”—an updating. It was a revolution. It was a process of subversion, carefully planned and affecting every sector of the Church’s life: doctrine, liturgy, sacraments, discipline, canon law, and ecclesiology. When Viganò describes the post-conciliar Church as an occupation from within—aimed at imposing a theological design different from the previous one—he is simply capturing reality. History confirms it.

The letter has the further merit of exposing all the contradictions of this “new church” born from a coup. There is no problem if a bishop celebrates Mass in rainbow vestments, welcomes bishops and priestesses to the altar, participates in interfaith ceremonies, prohibits the faithful from receiving Holy Communion kneeling and on the tongue, justifies the sin of abortion, advocates for an indiscriminate and reckless welcome of immigrants, places ecology at the center of his preaching, espouses all the causes of the left and the historic enemies of the faith, or commits unspeakable sins and cover up scandals. But if he dares question the Second Vatican Council and its outcomes, he’s out. If he dares to say that Vatican II created a rift and that, based on the facts, it’s impossible to sustain the hermeneutic of continuity, he’s cast out like a plague victim.

And so, a retired apostolic nuncio—who ought to be commended for his service and courage—is forced to beg for a meeting with the Pope. Yet the Pope does not reply.

Rome excommunicated Viganò using a Stalinist method. The Church of dialogue and inclusion brought the axe down on this faithful servant of hers. All this for having questioned Vatican II—a council that sought to be pastoral rather than dogmatic.

Let us reflect on this. Viganò was not excommunicated for denying, for example, transubstantiation, the Virgin Mary’s virginity, or the resurrection of the dead. No. He was cast out for critically analyzing a pastoral council and the path the Church has taken in the wake of that rupture.

The archbishop does not hesitate to describe the Conciliar and synodal Church as apostate, occupied, disfigured, and subversive. And anyone with eyes to see can agree with his analysis.

The archbishop’s letter has the merit of backing into a corner those conservatives who still toy with the hermeneutic of continuity. And the very policy of Rome—according to which adherence to Vatican II, rather than to the Deposit of Faith, is the proof of fidelity—demonstrates that Viganò is right.

When Monsignor Viganò asks Leo XIV to show him where he, as a servant, has contradicted the depositum fidei, he confronts him with a decisive challenge. And perhaps this is precisely the reason why an audience has not yet been granted. The burden of proof lies with the Pope. Can Rome seriously demonstrate that Viganò is a schismatic? Or is it not, in fact, Rome that has excommunicated itself?

Of note in Monsignor Viganò’s letter is the revelation that it was Cardinal Burke—following the publication of the McCarrick report—who advised him to live in secret locations for several years. Also worth highlighting is the reference to the case of Eleuterio Vásquez Gonzales, known in Chiclayo as Father Lute, who was accused of sexually abusing young victims. It is worth recalling that Chiclayo is the Peruvian city linked to the figure of the future Pope Leo XIV, as Robert Prevost served there as bishop for eight years, from 2015 to 2023. As Viganò rightly points out, the Holy See granted Father Lute dismissal from the clerical state without a proper canonical trial, effectively leaving him unpunished; meanwhile, the victims’ canon lawyer, Monsignor Ricardo Coronado Arrascue, was removed from his legal duties, reduced to the lay state, and investigated on the basis of defamatory accusations. Monsignor Viganò states that the details of this affair were documented for him by Monsignor Coronado himself. Is the Holy See, under Prevost, applying the same method used by Bergoglio in the McCarrick case?

The final passages of the letter also deserve to be highlighted.

“I trust,” writes Monsignor Viganò to the Pope, “that Your Holiness will grant me an audience, following the cancellation of the one previously scheduled for last December 11th. I will then be able to communicate to you in person certain matters of the utmost importance regarding my apostolic ministry and the need to ensure its continuity and future.”

Note well: Viganò speaks not only of “matters of the utmost importance” linked to his episcopal ministry but states that they concern the need to ensure “continuity and future” for that ministry.

Finally, the archbishop reiterates “the unconditional intention to fulfill every obligation incumbent upon me as a Successor of the Apostles.”

Are sensational developments in store?

    • Not at all….they are going the way of the pinko commies, New World Order pukes, global crapheads, etc.

  1. In the midst of the previous and current corrupt papacies, Archbishop Vigano has been the voice of Christ overturning the tables of the heretics and apostates within the Vatican.

    • In a sane world a real historian and inspired skeptic of altered almost Marxist heresies would be the perfect Pope. Can't remain a Catholic in this mess the satanic left has burdened us with.

          • They are in a better place because now they are most likely following God's Word and not man's, which by the way is why they left.

          • Yes that’s true but your salvation for eternity is only through the atoning sacrifice Jesus made for you on the cross. There is salvation in no other name.

          • and His sacrifice only. Your good deeds are just a reflection of your faith. But they mean absolutely nothing if your faith is missing.

          • deeds/works is NOT a path to salvation
being a good person is worthless…ask tom cruise…jesus is the answer

          • Who defines "Good Person"? What's "good" to one person may be "evil" to another. This is why you need a Church for a moral compass.

          • He is but he's wrong, that's just their interpretation of John 5:51, Protestants, the pilgrims, builders of our nation and our founders were correct in interpreting that spiritual belief in Jesus was the proper meaning.
Never whisper your secrets to the celibate guy in the closet, he's taking notes.

          • As a devout Catholic I'd say that Jesus cares more about following God's law and loving your neighbor as yourself than denominations and dogma.

          • As a devout student of scripture, Catholicism is anti-Christian in its entirety.

Find one verse concerning a levitical style priesthood under the New Covenant administration, then read 1 Peter 2 and see for yourself the only priesthood under the New Covenant administration.

            Mark 1v14-15 or Hebrews 10v31

          • So how do you reconcile that the author of the book you base your entire faith on is somehow illegitimate? Quite often, solo scriptura Christians act like the Devil wrote the Bible (they call the Catholic Church Evil) yet act like something from Evil is the sole Good on which to base your faith, it's illogical to me.

          • Your presupposition is flawed. The Catholic Church is not the author or source of scripture, it is God's word.

Catholicism, in it's present form, came about in the 4th century under Constantine.

Catholicism is anti-Christian because it denies the sufficiency of scripture and the finished work of sin-bearing of Christ.

The invention of Purgatory is the proof of the insufficiency of the Savior's work, which every faithful Catholic will deny.

          • Semantics, you still got the Bible from the Catholic Church, and then edited it to remove 2 Macabees so you don’t have purgatory. Catholicism believes there are three parts to the faith (God likes to do things in threes), the Bible, Tradition, and the Magesterium. I have noticed in my years of study that many Christians seem to follow a “no suffering” faith, in that they believe that Jesus died for their sins and as long as they try to live for Him, there will be no account for the sins that they accomplished in life. It’s a nice way to think, but it doesn’t sound very just when murderers can walk in the door without having to pay for their crimes and get the same rewards as people who have lived a mostly holy life.

          • "Catholicism believes" vs what has Yahweh said.

The foolishness of saying "Catholics gave us God's word is as foolish as the Pope claiming to be Holy Father".

You better start studying the scriptures in light of the darkness of Catholicism or you will say "Lord, Lord…only to hear depart from me, I never knew you".

            Mark 1v14-15 or Hebrews 10v31

          • It's a question of authority. God's word vs the traditions/doctrines of wicked men.

Again- learn what God says about His word and what Jesus said about the traditions of man.

It's not difficult to understand the scriptures, but impossible for the "natural (fallen) man".

Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness,

in humility receive the word implanted,

which is able to save your souls.
            — James 1:21

          • Yeah, I produced the same argument to Croc Adile. He banned me.

He wants to re invent Christianity to something that it never was. He's more creative at rewriting history than the Liberals, Communists, and LGBTQMNXYZers

          • Just banned croc adile.
he was just a crock. Of the same ole, same ole noise.

          • Agreed.

I struggle to find much of anything they preach that I can agree with. Even when I hear them say something that sounds good, I find out they meant something different that what I thought.

Until they are born-again, I cannot consider them brothers and sisters in Christ, for they are not in Christ if they are not born-again.

I cannot put faith in an institution that claims to speak for God, yet has no children of God in its leadership.

          • "Born again" version of Christianity was not practiced until thousands of years after Jesus, the Paraclete, and the Apostles established the True Church.

            It's trickery and fakery.

But hey, what did the Apostles know anyway?

            HA!

          • DD. I say, BINGO. How right you are. See my article above. My name is PRAY our BLESSED Mother Mary’s Most Holy Rosary and Wear the gift of the Brown Scapular. Or others of you are led to them. Oh my, the lions and tigers and bears will be coming for me. I thank them in advance. Always fun to let them know they aren’t God’s gift to the world they think they are. Yes, I’m preparing to be bored out of my mind with them once again. Perhaps this time I’ll ignore them. Hopefully they’ll block me.
            )Edited to correct spelling).

          • Original Church faith and practices were centered on the Eucharist.

It wasn't centered on Sola Scriptura and announcing once saved always saved.

That stuff is a recent farcical phenomena.

          • Recent farcical phenomena? You mean since the reformation?
Catholics seem to believe that their salvation relies on having communion only. I mean, you went for centuries only knowing what the vatican wanted you to know. As a baptist, we study and follow the whole bible because it’s all important to build our faith upon the written Word of God.

          • Yes, recent in terms of history.

No lineage back to the True Church founded by Jesus Christ, Paraclete, and Apostles. No Eucharist with Real Presence as practiced by the original Christians.

Just a lineage back to a genocidal, unhappy man named Martin Luther.

          • Now that's rich. I guess the rcc wasn't genocidal considering they were the ones wanting to kill Luther and anyone who questioned the pope. That's not a true church, it's a club of secular power seekers. A real church would not have ever sold indulgences. That's not in the bible either.

          • Martin Luther was probably under Satanic influence and practiced genocide. I pray for his soul.

Who inspired Martin Luther to reject the Catholic Church?
Answer: Satan. As Martin Luther incredibly admitted in his work, ""De missa privata et unctione sacerdotum."

A quote from Martin Luther who set the tone for the foundation of Protestant/Evangelical/Reformer/Pentecostal/Ad Nauseam intra/inter/non denominations Nauseam thoughts:

“To kill a peasant is not murder…Crush them! Cut their throats! To kill a peasant is to destroy a mad dog! If they say that I am very hard and merciless, mercy be damned. Let whoever can stab, strangle, and kill them like mad dogs”

…by their fruits you shall know them.

That marks the beginning of your tradition!

          • It’s no tradition of mine. From what I understand Luther allowed himself to get involved in the fight between the serfs and the overlords. I think he chose the wrong side.
Are you saying he left the rcc because of satan’s influence on him? The rcc is corrupt to the core. Do you really want to go there?

          • He wrote it was due to his conversation with Satan that he rejected the Catholic Church.

It must have been a moment of honestly and clarity for him when writing this.

          • He wrote it was due to his conversation with Satan that he rejected the Catholic Church.

It must have been a moment of honestly and clarity for him when writing this.

          • The law is for those who have not been redeemed. I am not under the law.

I think I know what you mean, though, and if I interpreted it correctly, I suppose I agree with you.

          • The Catholic churches official doctrine teaches one must be faithful Catholic to have a chance at being saved.

No guarantee contrary to God's word.

          • Actually it doesn't teach that. What it teaches is that the Catholic Church is the one true church and the repository of the faith by which all are saved, which means you don't have to be Catholic to get to Heaven.

          • Read your catechism. Vatican II is eucementical, but Vatican I is not. But of course the Catholic Church does not change…but "evolves" as fallen men with fallen natures add traditions of men as though it carries the authority of scripture.

          • Huh? How can the rcc be the only true church and the only authority on scripture and NOT be the only way to heaven? This seems to be contradicting itself.

          • Yet that’s what the Church teaches. Basically they’re the anchor for Christian faith from which all other Christian faiths came. Look at the Apostles Creed. That’s all you have to believe to be Catholic. Pretty much most Christians believe it.

          • Catholics will always be confused until they venture out and read something not put out by the vatican. No one who truly wants to be informed will only look at one side. I admit I don't read much of the catholic literature, but I have read a lot when it is referenced in other places such as this or my study aids. And I go to the internet when someone like you references something I haven't heard or know much about.
And why do you think all other faiths come from the catholics? Paladin, that is so wrong it's laughable. I can't believe you wrote that. I'll let you look that one up, although you may have to get out of your comfort zone and read something that doesn't toe the catholic line.
I did look up the Apostles Creed as well as the Nicene Creed and the Old Roman Symbol. The Apostles Creed was 'finalized' in the 6-7th century and says in part, I believe in…the holy catholic Church, where the old Roman Symbol (Creed) AD 150-200 just says the holy church. Funny how becoming the state religion of Rome and in league with an emperor made it the holy catholic church.

          • Once again you assume, and assume incorrectly. I have read other books by non Catholics and gone to Bible studies directed by non-Catholics. Question, do you know what “catholic” means in that prayer? I bet you don’t. Listen, you believe what you want. I for one am happy you believe in Jesus, the Bible and do your best to follow it. Neither of us will convince the other. I for one am happy that I have a Church to guide me. It was in my college years going to Bible studies (never went to a Catholic one) that I came to feel better that there was a Magisterium with over 2,000 years of study by theologians and doctors of the church to help guide me. I have no faith in my ability to discern the Bible by myself. Peace,

          • I'm glad you have. Catholic means universal, as in a universal church, which we all were to a large degree in the 1st century. But the busybodies always rush to be first and the splintering began.
As for a magisterium, we have sunday school and bible classes, Our pastor teaches a bible book selection on Sundays. And I study at home. When I have questions I always have people to talk to.
Enjoyed 'talking' to you. May the Lord's peace rest on you and yours sir.

          • Your chronology of events is backwards. Until you face this reality, you'll be running around in circles…

The Church existed before NT Scripture.

There, I tried fixing it for you.

          • well duh. The universal church existed, but the catholic church didn't.
            There fixed it for you.

          • Universal Faith based on the Eucharist with Real Presence.

From Justin Martyr in Anno Domini 155 in a letter explaining the Faith to the Emperor:

"And this food is called the Eucharist of which no one is allowed to partake but the man who believes that the things which we teach are true…for not as common bread and common drink do we receive these …likewise we have been taught that the food…is the flesh and blood of that Jesus who was made flesh."

            Rewrite history all you want.

          • Jesus will come back for his church. He will set foot on this earth for his church family. He doesn’t come back every mass as a wafer. It’s symbolic… when I take communion I feel His presence just biting into it or drinking the grape juice as His blood. That’s what’s important.
If you want to think that a sinful priest turned a wafer into literal flesh from Jesus go for it. YI guess you should do it if it makes you feel closer to Him.

          • Call it what you want.

Your Modernist take on the Eucharist does not coincide with what the Apostles taught the first Christians and what the early Church practiced.

But I guess you know better than all of them!

          • No sir. I don't claim to speak for Jesus or the apostles. I just try to do what Jesus wants of me and nothing more in the way of mortal embellishments or traditions. To say that the apostles taught that is nowhere to be found. To say early church leaders who ended up catholics did is plausible, but not biblical.

          • The Eucharist with Real Presence was a central tenet of the Early Church.

Your form of Christianity did not exist.

            Nothing left to be said.

          • Except you are so indoctrinated in the extras that the rcc added to your sect of religion that you are simply a drone at this point. So what if it was a tenet of the rcc? You need to get off your high horse and stop capping the church and early church as though our God only loves and accepts catholics alone. I'm sorry, but how wrong can you get? Most all the arguments that you and other catholics have put here are based on your interpretation of the bible with all the extra 'traditions'. And you start quoting it as if it came down off the mountain with Moses. Some early church leaders strayed from the Word and decided they had to fill in the blanks with their opinion of what the bible said. Their opinion on what Jesus really meant to say… It's nothing more than that. You back it up with more traditions as though that means anything really. Peter was the early leader of the church. Where does it say there would be a succession? Tell us, please. You added purgatory out of whole cloth over one instance of a mortal talking about speaking to the dead from a book you added to your bible that's highly suspect. The vatican even found a way to make indulgences a part of your church. Protestants don't take something as the Word of God if you have to tie ourselves up in knots to explain it.
Please remember, I and most all protestants believe there will be plenty of catholics in heaven. We don't hate your church, but those who have striven for power within it may be in trouble. I don't know.
By the way, we have communion. And we don't have to pretend that Jesus came back in a wafer. His Spirit is all around us. Always. Not just in communion. Don't you believe His Spirit is always there?

          • Allow me to begin your journey-
referring to its traditional Latin name, Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus (“outside the Church there is no salvation”)

          • Anyway, let’s dive into it…When these early scholars and theologians defended this view, they did not look for VERSES that used the exact words “Catholic Church” (as that term developed over time to describe the universal body). Instead, they built their case on specific BIBLICAL THEMES, METAPHORS, and DECLARATIONS about unity, the covenants, and the authority GIVEN to CHRIST’S FOLLOWERS.
            Ok
Remember- Authority given to CHRIST’S followers…
            Got it? “Authority”

          • Your interpretation is completely off-base.

God grafted the Gentiles into the promise He made to the Jews. Those Gentiles that He grafted in are Christians. That promise was made before the Roman Catholic church ever existed.

          • You are 100% correct stating God grafted the Gentiles because the Jews rejected Jesus. Let’s dig a little deeper into these grafted gentiles and as a bonus, how these grafted Gentile Christians became titled Catholics.
In the biblical and historical context, gentile simply means anyone who is not Jewish.
            • Before the time of Jesus, the world was essentially divided into two groups by the Jewish people: Jews (the covenant people of God) and Gentiles (everyone else, including Romans, Greeks, Egyptians, etc.).

            • Gentiles didn’t collectively reject the “Son of God” because, prior to the teaching of the Apostles, the vast majority of the gentile world had never heard of Jesus or Jewish prophecy. They practiced their own pagan religions.
            • Now, According to the New Testament gospels and historical accounts, the initial rejection of Jesus as the Messiah (the Son of God) came primarily from the established Jewish religious leadership in Jerusalem, not the gentiles.
When the early Christian movement began, it was initially a 100% Jewish movement. However, as the Apostles (particularly Paul) began preaching, a massive shift occurred:
            • The Jewish community largely rejected the claim that Jesus was the Messiah.
            • The Gentile world widely accepted the message.
Because so many non-Jewish people (gentiles) converted to Christianity, the early Church quickly transformed from a small Jewish sect into a predominantly gentile global faith.
            .

            the Term “Catholic” Comes From—–
The word catholic comes from the Greek word katholikos, which means “universal” or “according to the whole.”
It wasn’t used to describe people who rejected God. Instead, the early Church fathers (around the year 107 AD, starting with Ignatius of Antioch) began using the term “Catholic Church” to distinguish the one, true, universal assembly of Christian believers from fractured heretical groups.

Gentiles were just the non-Jewish nations of the world. Far from being defined by a rejection of Christ, it was the gentiles who ultimately made up the vast majority of the global, “universal” (Catholic) Christian Church after converting away from their pagan roots.

          • Which Church produced the Bible in Anno Domini 382? I doubt it was your Man invented church.

Show me the Bible verse that has "Trinity" in it. Let me know when you find it.

The True Church existed before the NT Scriptures AND the Bible.

          • The OT was already pretty established. Books were compiled that were already considered the text of the Bible from. The Early church, prior to the Catholic church ever touched it.

I notice that you still didn’t provide a verse. Lol.

          • I can't provide a verse with the word "Trinity". It does not exist in the Bible.

            Trinity comes from Catholic Tradition.

          • False.

Many times in the OT the Godhood in 3 persons is referenced. Granted, the term "Trinity" is not used.

And then we see YAHWEH in 3 persons throughout the NT. Most significantly is the baptismal scene of Jesus and John the Baptist presented by first hand accounts in the Gospels.

          • You said:

"Granted, the terms "Trinity" is not used."

            You said:

"Plainly put, if it's not in the bible it's not scriptural."

            No further comment.

          • Mark 16:16: “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”
John 3:5: “Jesus answered, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.'”

            Ok you satisfied ?

          • Here is one of the main bible verses that implicitly sets "physical boundaries" aka catholic church.
Remember when during the final plague of Egypt, salvation from the destructive angel required a very specific corporate boundary. (Same as today's Catholic Church)
Exodus 12:22: "None of you shall go out of the door of his house (this safe zone/corporate boundary represents His Catholic Church) until the morning."
The Early Scholar Logic interpretation: The blood of the lamb only protected those who remained inside the house. Sincerity and a clean conscious OUTSIDE the house did not spare a person from judgment.
Do you see how the Catholic Church theoretically models this safe zone.

          • You keep inserting the Catholic church into your interpretation and that is made up of whole cloth.

          • Ok i understand, but do understand that THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH IS HIS CHURCH. Where the King is so is His Kingdom. Our Merciful Savior, Son of God, is physically located in all the Tabernacles throughout the world. The Bread of Life.

          • Also similar discernment theme and declaration of unity can be established with Noah's Ark. Inside you are saved / outside you perish.
The same theoretically applies to the Catholic Church. AMEN

          • There is no salvation outside the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church. Jesus stated, if you do not eat my body and drink my blood, there is no life in you.
As in the Sacrament of HOLY COMMUNION. only a priest ordained in apostolic succession is anointed or consecrated properly can do that. Every other kind of communion is either symbolic or an outright waste of time. Every Protestant so called church, since Luther is an abomination. Talk about examples. The Anglican Church for one. It’s cos play. Their so called priests, male and female priestesses and their bishops have not saved a soul since there origination. See above for my explanation. Said and done. I won’t waste my time bickering with anyone about what I believe and said. Your beliefs are yours.
            Oh, good for you.

          • "There is no salvation outside the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church."

Give me the exact verse that says this.

          • Never to late. Even on your deathbed you can still receive the Sacraments of the church. I pray that the Holy Spirit softens your heart! ❤️

          • Brian, it’s not the Church that has hardened my heart, It’s the people in control of it who have.

          • He did say "This is my Body given up for you, do this in remembrance of Me".
The Catholic Church is where it can be found.

          • John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Has literally nothing to do with eating bread.

          • You should read John chapter 6. Especially the verse 6:66. The only verse of that number. And also what Jesus says after that. Those who walk away from that teaching are, literally, the number of the beast.

          • 1. You can learn a lot about someone by who their enemies are! Note, do not just look at who their friends are but pay attention to who really despises them.

            2. Jews, Christians and Muslims all acknowledge Satan’s existence; however, only Christians are singled out by Satanists for ridicule, mocking and attack.

            3. Of all the Christian denominations (and there are thousands now), Catholics are targeted the most, bar none, and the Black Mass is the prime example. Note, there is not a Black Baptist or Black Methodist or Black Lutheran service. Only a Black Mass as the primary attack against Christians and especially Catholics.

            4. For the Black Mass to be really a celebration for Satanists, a consecrated HOST is required so that it can be desecrated. Now, have you ever noticed that the consecrated HOSTS must always come from Catholic churches? Just look at the recent news around the Oklahoma City Black Mass in the last several years.

            5. Satanists have a hard time getting a consecrated HOST from the Catholic Church because they protect it, and cherish it because it is the real presence of Christ himself. Satanists could get a consecrated host from any other Christian denomination on any Sunday they wish….but they don’t. Ever ask yourself why?

            6. Only Catholic Priests (through apostolic succession since the time of Peter) have the power to convert the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of our savior Jesus Christ. The other denominations don’t, for if they did, then the Satanists would surely get a consecrated HOST from another Christian denomination who consider it just a symbol and do not protect it like it is the real presence.

No the Satanists recognize who has the real power of God the Father, His only Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit working through them…and it is the Catholic Priests who have the power to bind and to loose on earth until Jesus returns.

          • Are you serious? "This is my body" is right there in the Good Book. Love how solo scripturas act like the author of the book was illegitimate, but somehow the book they put together isn't.

          • Yes, He was telling them to eat a piece of bread, not the hand holding it! It's symbolic!!!!! It's hard to believe that you think that wafer you hold is any more like Jesus than the one I hold when I take part in communion. I know exactly who I am submitting to when I partake in it.

          • My friend that is not true. Many disciples would not have left him when they challenged Him about it because eating His flesh was something they couldn’t come to terms with. This is in the Bible and you really have to work to change the meaning. “Where else would we go, You have the words of Everlasting life.” Believe what you want but the words are right there in the Bible.

          • Well, guess what. Most of us can't come to terms with ACTUALLY eating the flesh of Jesus or drinking His blood. It's symbolic in meaning! It's something like this that make catholics look like lemmings who will believe whatever their fallen popes tell them to think.
Do you believe that none returned after the resurrection?

          • If you want to blind yourself to actual recorded evidence of miraculous instances, to include present day lab tests, you go ahead and be one of the disciples who walked away. I’m sticking with Peter and the rest of the Apostles. Amazing how you can read the Bible and disregard what it says and then talk to Catholics like we don’t know what we’re talking about after being the ones to create the Bible and study it for thousands of years, but hey you live in your solo scriptura, self-interpreting world where somehow the Holy Spirit picked you out of the billions of people in the world to have the one true understanding of His meaning and intent. It most be horrible when you have to let all the other Solo Scriptura folks who disagree with you know that they’re wrong and you’re right.

          • You didn’t create the bible and you aren’t the only ones who study it. And we don’t have to ask a priest to explain it to us, although I study with others more knowledgeable than me. I definitely don’t think I’m an authority. Plainly put, if it’s not in the bible it’s not scriptural. Catholics like to find things in the bible that have to be contorted to be believed. Purgatory comes to mind.
And why do you have to add to the bible with all your traditions, etc? What is wrong with solo scriptura? Keep christianity pure without the pablum.
Anway, God bless you and yours. I imagine we will meet someday in heaven. We will certainly have the time.

          • Do you believe in the Trinity? Show me in Bible where it is.

You can't…it comes from Catholic Tradition.

          • No offense, but good grief. Catholics like you are insufferable in your assumed holiness. Why do you insist in claiming everything that was happening just because a catholic was within 1000 miles of it. It’s disgusting.
The word trinity isn’t in the bible, but the Father, Son, and Spirit are. Can you count? And tell me where you found purgatory. And I don’t think I have found ‘The Church’ capitalized either. Shall we go on.

          • Trinity comes from Catholic Tradition.

            You said:

"The word trinity isn't in the bible."

            But then said:

"Plainly put, if it's not in the bible it's not scriptural."

            No further comment.

          • Read my comment again. The Father, Son, and Spirit are in the bible. I'm ok if someone coined the term 'trinity' for the Godhead. But I still can't find purgatory clearly laid out. Or indulgences for that matter. Or where you are supposed to consider a secular city-state with walls around it and a police force that calls itself 'The Church' an actual Spirit filled church.
If you've read my posts you already know I believe a lot of catholics will be in heaven. They just won't be alone.

          • The concept of Purgatory is addressed in the portion of the Bible that the "reformers" took out.

            How convenient.

          • Sorry John, but you are tied up in earthly dominance and power the rcc strives for. Your traditions get in the way of the true Word of God. Has it ever dawned on you at all that you really want someone to take the lead and tell yo u what to think? Forget all the made up stuff in your traditions and stick to the bible only. But you even follow a different bible.

          • Your tradition is not biblical, just a contorted idea of mortal man. If you wish to believe this it's ok, as it is harming no one. At least, I don't think it is.

          • Catholic Church existed before the Bible.

Catholic Church produced the Bible in Anno Domini 382. Historically documented.

          • So what? Are you striving to be 'first' among the saints? That's certainly not biblical. As for the catholic church existing before the bible, so did the other churches, all of which, together, were the true universal church. And the bible you 'produced' was the latin language bible your catholic hierarchy insisted everyone use although very few could read it, therefore your priestly class would 'explain' everything to them. They would even kill those who had a different bible, so other bibles were out there. The protestants removed 7 questionable books and passages in 2 others from our version because the were written later in greek and didn't come from the early letters in hebrew. They also included ideas that aren't mentioned in the bible, like purgatory, but just conjured by mortal catholics to be important doctrine. If true, we would have known by explicit explanation in the bible. I'm sure you know what was said about adding or subtracting from the Word.

          • Anyone can cherry pick the Bible to get whatever interpretation they want, your response being a case in point as you completely disregard the previous post with one of your own. Your post doesn't remove the biblical passage quoted prior.

          • Lol…what did Jesus say was in the Lord's Supper cup in Matthew, Mark, and Luke?

Why did Jesus say in "remembrance"?

Transubstantiation is not found in scripture nor is your levitical style priesthood. Not a single verse about the magisterium administration, not one. God must have been asleep at the wheel or Catholic doctrine is wrong.

            It's one or the other.

The only priesthood under the New Covenant administration is described by Peter on 1 Peter 2.

It's is the holy and royal priesthood of God's chosen saints, no other New Covenant priesthood exists.

Your entire religion is fraudulent and anti-Christian, but you'll likely dismiss, rather than searching the scriptures.

That lack of interest in the truth is the judgment of God on all who follow the traditions of men in religions.

            Mark 1v14-15 or Hebrews 10v31

          • Or it can be found in the King James Bible at I Corinthians 11:24. A committment which is given to ANY – who will accept who He is.

          • Too late for what? Are you suggesting that he/she is a lost soul because he/she is no longer catholic?

          • And that’s why people are disgusted and repulsed by the catholic church. The only saved souls and holder of the keys… good grief.

          • One will think what they want, sometimes to their own detriment. I feel sorry for those who think heaven is their own private club. The rcc has done absolutely nothing to earn, deserve, or honor such a distinction. It's too bad you can't see any of it. Hopefully, we have each earned the salvation that Jesus promises those who believe in Him and the sacrifice He made for ALL of us who do. God bless.

          • You poor blinded misguided soul. I shall pray for you and offer intentions for you when I attend my next mass.

          • Well thank you Brian. I appreciate any and all prayers one would say for me. I'll return the favor sir.

        • You were reeeeally stupid to walk away from Transubsantiation with the faithless Protestants.

        • The version you walked away from was perverted version of what the agnostic Christians knew. Many good videos on Gnostic Christianity a spiritual path that died out at the hand of Rome which hijacked the original intent when it needed a control mechanism.

        • I know how you feel. I still go to Mass to receive the body & blood of Jesus Christ. I attend a church that is more traditional than most of the churches in my town. Only an ordained Catholic priest can change the bread & wine into the body & blood of Jesus Christ. But, it's not always easy staying Catholic with the liberalism being promoted.

          • The Catholic priesthood doesn't exist under the New Covenant administration, only the holy and royal priesthood of God's chosen saints according to Peter.

            see 1 Peter 2

Not one verse exists that recognizes a Catholic Magisterium. Was God asleep at the wheel?

Doctrines of man often nullify the word of God and Catholicism has mastered the art of deception.

If people just read God's word with the intent to know Him, they wouldn't fall into the deceptions.

            Mark 1v14-15 or Hebrews 10v31

          • Yes, exactly! We are all priests who believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. Which means we are held to a higher standard. And many won't acknowledge Jesus because it does just that. God bless.

          • Only an ordained Catholic priest can change the bread & wine into the body & blood of Jesus Christ?
Where does the bible say that?

          • Its completely made up.

The disciples didn't bring a little bell with them to dinner to ring it and call down Jesus to change the sacraments into body and blood.

            Its a show.

          • It's a show…then justify this historical account::

From Justin Martyr in Anno Domini 155:

"And this food is called the Eucharist of which no one is allowed to partake but the man who believes that the things which we teach are true…for not as common bread and common drink do we receive these …likewise we have been taught that the food…is the flesh and blood of that Jesus who was made flesh."

Your man invented church is an imposter of the real thing.

          • Your insane.

            Jesus talked about it.
That's pretty much from the beginning.

I hope one day you will get tired of the lies of Catholicism. It's defenses are pathetic.

          • Yes, the Eucharist was the basic central belief of the original Christians as taught by the Apostles. Apostles were taught by Jesus.

This basic belief of Faith is only carried on today by only two Churches. Both are Apostolic: Catholic and Orthodox.

All others are false derivatives of the True Faith.

          • You cherry picked the words "born again" and assumed the label.

Your imposter church did this thousands of years after Christ. It's a heretical form of worship and belief that previously never existed in history up until a couple hundred years ago.

            Its invented and illlegitimate.

But don't invent something like this and then push your slop at me. Won't work.

          • Nor does your insanity work on anyone. Your church needs gullible people like you, and there is an endless supply of them.

          • No. Just the facts.

I'm praying the we can help you get saved. Each time you show your stubbornness and submission to the liars of the Catholic cult I know the road will be very long. Hopefully we'll have enough time.

          • YOU CONVINCED ME!

I'm going to leave the Church left to us by Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost and the Apostles. The same Church that compiled and produced the Bible in Anno Domini 382.

So tomorrow, I'll go church shopping. I'll interview pastors to see how they sell their product. If it aligns with MY views and fits in with MY interpretation of the Bible and fits in with MY lifestyle, I may decide to join one.

I want to start off correctly and not waste any time…which of the 1,234,567,899.27 Protestant/Evangelical/Reformer/Pentecostal/Ad Nauseam intra/inter/non denominations has the one true interpretation of the Bible?

          • You are not in the church left to us by Jesus Christ.

You are in an evil manmade construct and bound for Hell.

I know I have replied to this cut and paste post of yours before.

The Apostles wrote the New Testament. If you follow that, you follow their teachings. They didn't teach what your church does.

            Wake up.

Become born-again as Jesus said you must be. He didn't say you get saved when you die. He said Today is the day of salvation.

You continue to be stubborn and reject what Christ taught us.

Bend the knee NOW and receive the free gift of his grace.

Then look at your church again and see with new eyes how they deceived you and are deceiving millions.

          • Your opinions only serve to try to inspire fear and panic. Effective use of propaganda using Satan's tools.

Your logic and rationale is not based on Church history and secular history. Or Christianity based on Faith, Hope, and Charity.

And yes, I reposted a previous comment after a slight update.

I did so because you didn't answer the question the first time. Let's see if you answer it now.

          • I'm waiting for that answer too. Where do catholics find even half of their traditions in the bible?

          • Here's your answer:

Catholic Church existed prior to NT Scripture. Catholic Church existed several hundred years before the Bible.

Who produced the first Bible in Anno Domini 382?
            Answer: The Catholic Church.

            Historically documented.

          • You're right about the church being catholic if you are referring to the ancient greek root, meaning 'universal', as in universal church. There was only one church at the time of the apostles, but the bible talks about divisions even then. The rcc only became a thing when it teamed up with Constantine and became a state church under the protection of the emperor.
Protestants took 7 books and some passages in Daniel and Esther out a little later as being questionable in origin, not being originally written in ancient hebrew, etc.
            Historically documented.

          • Church since its inception was centered on the Eucharist. This was the practice of the original Christians and continued up to and past the time of Constantine.

Constantine unbanned the Church. He did not invent the Church. Once allowed to openly meet, the Bishops (as heirs to the Apostles) met to standardize the practices of the Faith.

No one in history practiced anything close to what the Protestants/Reformers/Born Again is today.

They are merely inventions with no historical basis save for the past several hundred years.

          • I totally agree that communion is central to christian belief. I never said Constantine invented the church. He simply wanted to solidify his position as emperor. Think about it, the problems within the christian faith didn’t start in 325, but church leaders joining with a secular govt drew in all kinds of unholy people. These types will always seek power, wealth, and position. Do the origins of these types ring a bell???

          • Not sure where you go to mass, but what I've been seeing this last 20 years is more and more men are becoming priests later in life after living careers as military, police, and businessmen. These guys tend to be a lot more conservative. I'm in Texas, but I've also seen reemergence in suburbs when I've visited family in other states. I fear a lot of people are using the excuse that there are corrupt men in the church to walk away from the faith that those men haven't changed.

      • Rev 18:4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

      • Popes come and go. Some were bad, many were good but the faithful are not the church of a pope, they are the church of Jesus Christ. They'll be held accountable. In the meantime, take a step back and read the church father's writings and receive Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.

          • I'm guessing you're not aware that there have been scientifically proven instances (several), in modern times of blood coming out of consecrated hosts in the middle of mass. The blood type of Jesus, AB+, the Universal Receiver. Makes sense since He took on our sins to save us. Also another instance, thieves stole the gold ciborium out of the tabernacle and threw the consecrated hosts on the ground which were gathered up by the Church. Later they noticed something growing on the hosts, so they took them to a lab for testing. the growth was human cardiac cells .

You would think everyone would know about this, but it's not surprising since the Devil wants you to believe it's symbolic.

          • Because I told you about recorded facts? That would seem to me like you want to cover your eyes and ears because you don’t want to see anything that may cause you to change what you believe.

    • I, as a catholic, say profoundly, EFF THIS communist POS pope. Just as bad as the P.O.S. argentinian communist!!!!!!!

      • Argentinian / Peruvian / Peruvian / Argentinian There is something seriously wrong with South American popes.

        • Yes, they are the final introduction into the family of communism. Seen this, lived it, and petrified of it. Look at Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela. Not to be detrimental but some latins are illiterate. And, BTW, I am considered a latin since I was born in one of those countries. However, educated in the USA after FLEEING and "THANKFULLY" received by the most generous and wonderful country this Earth has EVER to have blessed this blue rock.

      • Yep, prophesy of St. Malachi. We only have one real Pope left and he will be the last Pope, just don't know when that will be.

    • Both support a gospel of works salvation denying the completed work of Christ in salvation.

Paul warned Timothy about such men as that found in Eastern Orthodox churches and the Catholic church.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,

through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared,

      who forbid marriage and

require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.
      — 1 Timothy 4:1-5

When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh,

He made you alive together with Him,

having forgiven us ALL our transgressions,

having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us,

      which was hostile to us;

and He has taken it out of the way,

having nailed it to the cross.
      — Colossians 2:13-14

Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement

and the worship (VENERATION) of the angels, taking his stand on visions he has seen,

inflated without cause by his fleshly mind,
      — Colossians 2:18

      MARK 1V14-15 OR HEBREWS 10V31

  2. Introduced to Catholicism as a child but never practiced as an adult. I am now engaged in a biblical oriented Baptist church. The Catholic church has become a tool for the progressive socialist world movement to replace Europeans and Americans with 3rd world immigrants to keep these malcontents in power as they steal, murder and extort any that oppose them. Paul must be turning over under the basilica in a church that disdains the past of holiness to one of "anything goes" to stay in power.

    • The Bible will lead you understand how Catholic theology is closest to Jesus than any other theology on earth.

I hope you read the passages that the Baptists ignore, such as "Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life in yourselves"

      John 6:53

        • I have been to a non-Denominational congregation and a SBC congregation that distributed little cups of wine and tiny little wafers, but I am pretty sure they all disclaim that it is the actual body and blood of Jesus. They say it's just a "symbol".

For some reason, they don't want to say that it is the body and blood of Jesus. Is there some history here, from "bad blood" between the Catholic Church and the protestants ?

          • That is the job of the Holy Spirt who dwells with every born again believer. Jesus told Nicodemus "you must be born again" to enter the Kindom of God. Jesus is now our High Priest.

          • If that's true, why are there so many different interpretations? Are you saying the Holy Spirit gives a different interpretation to different people? That makes no sense.

          • Can you read? The early rcc was killing christians who had a bible because they wanted to tell you what was in it. That gave them control. A very unchristian way to be.

          • As if Protestants haven't killed each other over doctrinal differences. . .

Fortunately, that medievel idea is not practiced by any Christian denomination anymore.

          • Yeah, I've read that some reformist leaders and later church leaders who failed to stay true to the Word were guilty, but nowhere near the evil that was fostered on other sects by the rcc. Luckily, we aren't killing each other now. That's the work of islam now, but they are medieval still.
But that wasn't the point, just that 1Bobby8 still thinks he needs someone from the rcc to tell him what the bible really means, not what it says.

          • No, you need to pray about what you read and ask the Holy Spirit for the understanding. There are many many churches and many ideas….there is only one truth and that comes from God not man. Ask him for wisdom and understanding. Seek and ye will find…knowing the word helps and seeking the truth will come out.

          • Why is it that Jesus hasn't answered the prayers of so many protestants to understand the one true faith ?

          • And yet all these people "guided by the Holy Spirit" come up with different interpretations. Obviously they're not as guided as they think they are. "A" for effort, but still not on the one true path, which is not to say they won't make it to Heaven.

          • The holy Bible was put together and approved 380-382 AD by the council of Rome under Pope Damasus I. It’s a Catholic Book. I didn’t say you can read it.

          • Yes, Catholics believe they belong to the One True Church and that the true interpretation of Jesus' teachings comes for the Church and all others are not 100% correct. Catholics believe Christians are brothers in Christ. We don't have a hate on for Christians like many Christians seem to hate Catholics. Hmm, hate, a sin. People should ask themselves why they have a problem with Catholics.

          • No one has a problem with catholic believers themselves, although we don’t understand how you could fall for much of the unbiblical traditions and beliefs you hold dear, such as your Mary worship. There is nothing biblical about it, although the vatican and holy see have made it central to your faith.
No, our dislike is for your hierarchy of people who don’t really seem like spiritual leaders, but more like secular administrators of a woke western govt. Give up the nonsense of being a city state, come clean on your pedophile problem, start putting Jesus in your prayers without calling on Mary or some ‘saint’ to do your praying for you, sell all of your real estate, art objects to help the poor it was meant for, and stop taking billions from govts to import illegal aliens into the western world, for starters.

          • We don’t worship Mary. however it is written “all nations will call me blessed.” Most Catholics I know aren’t happy with the last two popes, and yes, we would rather they stay in the lane of faith than get involved in world politics. The “pedophile problem ” while it existed, and the Velvet Mafia is a relatively thing is ki d of a lie. Priests have the lowest incidence of sexual abuse of Amy measured group of men, so it’s kind of a “remove the plank in your eye before you worry about the speck in mine” but it’s hard for people to reconcile with a man choosing to be celebate so it’s easy to sell the lie that they’re all sexual deviants.

          • I don’t think for a minute that all or most priests are deviants. It’s the fact that there were so many and the vatican would just move them around and not turn them in to the law allowing it to continue, which made them part and parcel to all of it.

          • Agreed, a grave error for which they paid dearly. IMO the Church went over the top in their response to this. Now to do anything in the Church you have to take a day training on what’s a pedophile, how to recognize one, that you better not be one, and get a full background check, even to be a Lector. This has been the case for 20 years, and yet I’m willing to bet almost no Catholics know this.

      • We don't ignore it. We do symbolically. Don't you understand that? We just don't pretend that the wafer and grape juice are the literal flesh and blood of Christ.
Now, please state where in the bible it says Mary should be held up to the same standard as her Son, Jesus. Where does it say to pray to her and not to Jesus? Where does it say she was sinless, and where does it say she remained a virgin? Where does it say to put her or any apostle on the same standard when it comes to prayer? Things like this didn't come from the bible. Maybe traditions of the rcc.

          • Luke 22 19-20
19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

            1 Corinthians 11:24-25
24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

Jesus was not saying to ACTUALLY eat His flesh and drink His blood. Why Jesus allowed some of His disciples to leave at that time, I don't know. Maybe He knew they would be back, as I feel sure many were after His resurrection. But Jesus never really taught the masses without telling a story or parable that I'm aware of. And this is the most difficult passage in the bible to understand in my opinion. I think that's because He knew that would make them think about it more than just stating something without some kind of context.

        • You have made a lot of incorrect assumptions about Church teachings. The Church teaches Jesus is God and no one is saved except through Him. Your questions are good, but it would take to long to address them all.. Where does it say that the Bible is the only guide for your faith? If you're really interested in knowing what the Church actually teaches, I suggest you listen to EWTN or go to Catholic Answers. They invite people to challenge the faith. The people speaking and answering questions are also formally trained theologians.

          • Saying Jesus is God and no one is saved except through Him is right, but then getting on your knees and praying to Mary or someone else who was 'sainted' kinda blows the lid off of putting Jesus first. You just have too many distractions from Jesus in the rcc. Paladin, what was the last time you took a deep dive into the Baptist faith I am a part of? We keep it simple and put nothing in the way of someone who wants to know Jesus and we use the bible exclusively to do so. If it's not found in the bible we don't consider it the word of God. And we most definitely don't consider the popes to be a direct line from Peter. With the record the popes have it's mind numbing that catholics still do. God bless Paladin. It's Sunday, brother.

    • So, you reject the Bible as originally constituted by Church elders in the 4rth Century? You reject 2 Maccabees which clearly describes what we call Purgatory?

      • I reject the catholic church that decided it was the only path to God and also sought secular power on this earth by becoming a state supported church after the council of nicaea with all the compromises with Constantine and his pagan beliefs, along with the added traditions. Mary worship, confessions to a mortal man who forgives your sins, and all that.

  3. The satanic bible says that there is a demon assigned to every church.
If you head any of the big church committees you can usually point out who it is working through.
When it comes to the Holly See – I fear Satan took on that task Personally.

    • No thank you. I worked for a Lutheran org. with a Lutheran Rev. as an administrator. NO.

“We must defend the truth at all costs, even if we are reduced to just twelve again." Pope John Paul II

      JP2 was no commie globalist.

    • Amen! Sola scriptura. The idea of the Pope split the church, east vs west. The "upon this rock I will build my church" to justify the pope has been completely taken out of context. As Christ said the temple will be destroyed and in three days I will build it up, He was speaking about Himself. He is the Temple. Why would He build a church based on a human?

  4. The Catholic Church has betrayed its own people. Under Pope Leo, it has sold out to socialism, embraced homosexuality, softened on abortion, and lied about Islam being a religion of peace.
    This isn’t Catholicism it’s cowardice.
The Church abandoned 2,000 years of truth for modern progressive garbage. It no longer defends life, sin, or the Gospel. Instead, it bows to the world and confuses the faithful.
Catholics deserve real shepherds, not political hacks. The Church must return to Christ or it will die.

    • Not only Catholics need to hear warnings on apostasy and falling away from sound doctrine and Christ Himself. But Protestants need to heed as well. The deception of the last days is upon us in every increasing waves.

    • They, also, allow Communion in the hand & lay people passing out Communion. Only an ordained Catholic priest should touch the body & blood of Jesus Christ. His hands are specially consecrated for that purpose.

    • The Church has done nothing of the sort. Francis and Leo have made statements, but they haven't officially changed doctrine.

  5. He'll get nowhere fighting that powerful entity. He should split from the Church, take America's Catholics with him, as was done by Luther.

  6. Our Lady of Fatima WARNED OF THIS! She was trying to save us from Satan's attempts to destroy the church. He has almost successfully carried out his goals. He's been given 100 years from the day that the Fatima messages were deemed worthy of belief by the Catholic Church in 1929. The pope has only to Consecrate Russia as per the specific instructions given by Our Lady, and commanded by God Himself, Who entrusted this last chance of obedience to her instructions and which multiple pope's have failed to carry out! Russia cannot convert without that act of consecration, thus the world suffers terrible calamities because of the pope's stubbornness and disobedience! We must pray for him to do this, as Our Lady promised he would in thr end. Will that end be before WW3 or during?

  7. I'm agnostic and don't 'do' religion like the majority of people in our country but if I did I'd definitely be on the side of Monsignor Viganò…..

  8. The Catholic church has been conquered – just like the Democratic party – by China, communists, socialists, and anarchists. It is too stubborn and rigid to admit it has made bad choice, knelt to homosexual, migrant and black activists, and the left. Real Catholics, true believers, feel alienated and are leaving to find their way back to GOD, without Rome and the last two popes.

  9. The Catholic Church… Satan's highest achievement, leading many to the firey depths of hell, if you disagree, read the article again… Just slower this time.

    • Agreed.

Our is a God who redeems by grace. Theirs is a god who gives no hope. A Catholic can never know they have been redeemed until they face the final judgment. By then, it's too late.

    • Vigano thinks that the Vatican is leading people away from Catholic teachings, which is to the "fiery depths of hell".

Vigano is a very traditional Catholic.

  10. Article too long to get through. Catholics are guilded and obcess on pagentry. I’m southern Baptist and we have problems but not like that

    • • It's a much more important article and synopsis than that.
      • The "pagenty" goes back 2000 years. From hunted people hiding in private homes to the grandeur of the Vatican, St.Peter's.
      • It's a glorious, beautiful, massive Church being coopted by the Left, by insider Globalist scum, kowtowing to Islam, Communists, environmentalism, open borders wackos.
      • That's the point.

    • It's the people who obsess about the occasional pageantry of the Church as somehow representative of the Church that I wonder about . . .

  11. Civil War would work. The warrior monk, warrior priest is NOT a "dead concept."
it might be the only way left.

  12. It amazed me how rare it is for the Pope, or the Catholic Church to discuss anything that could be considered biblical.

  13. It amazed me how rare it is for the Pope, or the Catholic Church to discuss anything that could be considered biblical.

  14. No matter how it's affiliated, Catholic Charities BILKED the American taxpayer out of a BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR, all to IMPORT future Democrat, AMERICA HATING SAVAGES..
    That's a fact.
Ending USAID might eventually have saved the country.

  15. Sacraments, idols, traditions of men, religious hierarchies … exactly what Jesus warned against!

    • You mean in these passages? Matthew 26:26–29, Mark 14:22–25, Luke 22:19–20. You think the Last Supper was supposed to just be a "One and Done"?

        • So, where did anyone say communion was a one and done????!!!
Have you really read the bible?

        • Does the bible call Mary the "Holy Mother", or "Mother of God"? Does the bible say that we should make Mary shrines? Does the bible say that we should pray to the Saints, ignoring for a moment the distortion of what a Saint actually is. Does the bible say that Jesus had a brother? You try to point out the one exception which isn't at all because Jesus said to "do this in rememberance of me". Don't make an idol out of a man-made organization…worship it if you choose, but I will stick with the biblical.

          • I was raised a Catholic, but I am no fan of the Catholic Church in its current incarnation. I just took exception to your claim that rituals and the trappings of a formal Church were not in God's plan.

          • I'll bite Yvonne. Where does the bible say to have rituals and trappings like the rcc? I'm referring to being a secular city-state on down to the Mary worship and pageantry. I am down on how casual church has become. I don't think we should look like we just got to the beach. Saying that, I would not turn someone away unless it was an affront to decency.

  16. I'm Eastern Orthodox myself, but it's tragic to see the state the Catholic Church has put itself in. After Benedict stepped down the church has been in the wrong hands. It's a shame as the Orthodox and Catholic churches are the only two truly Apostolic churches. I hope Catholics like Vigano can get their house in order. If I weren't Orthodox, the only other Church that would be acceptable to me would be Catholic, as the late-comer Protestant churches and their legion of splinter churches have moved far off from the theology and practice of the Apostolic church.

    • And, what part of the "Apostolic Church" established in Jerusalem, by the Apostles (including Peter), EVER existed in the catholic cult?? "The event that added about five thousand believers to the Apostolic Church is known as Peter's sermon following the healing of a lame man, as described in Acts 4. This significant growth occurred after the initial addition of three thousand believers on the Day of Pentecost."

The Day of Pentecost DID NOT occur in Rome, rather in Jerusalem, the birthplace of Christianity!!

      • Yes, which why I believe the orthodox church is the primary Apostolic church, the Catholics schismed in 1054, but they are still closer to the Orthodox Church than the Protestants and their sometimes aberrant theology. Their Apostolic roots are the ones they had as part of the Orthodox Church, the church of the East, the original church.

        • The Apostles were NEITHER 'protestants' NOR catholic!!!! Nothing about popes, or worshiping Mary, or "saints" in the Bible, and Peter NEVER WROTE ABOUT BEING A "pope" (aka "Bishop of Rome")!!

PAGAN/GNOSTIC Simon Magus, who WAS "REGARDED AS A GOD" and had a statue built in his honor on the Tiberius River, DID live in the PAGAN city of Rome, under Roman Emperors Claudius and Nero (both ANTI-CHRISTIAN PAGANS) and only Simon (highly regarded by Nero) could have headed any "catholic" church under the PAGAN Emperors in the city of Rome!!!

Interestingly, The "orthodox" split DID NOT occur until AD 869 (9th century)!! It took the orthodoxers 800 years to figure out their mistake????

    • So you think all the extraneous writings and rules of the RCC are 'Apostolic'? The Bible doesn't think so. Ever read the last statement in the Book of Revelation? You know, the part about not adding anything to the words of the Holy Bible lest you be accursed?

    • It’s fascinating whenever I witness RCs and Protestants arguing. They are two sides of the same coin.

One side claims their pope to be infallible and on the other side every man is his own pope.

  17. I bailed on the catholic church 30 years ago when I started reading the bible. Nothing in the catholic bible about praying to Saint Mary. Jesus says in John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. So my prayers now go only the Jesus, not Saint Mary. By the way when we accept Jesus into our hearts, no purgatory, straight to heaven for our rewards. https://media0.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPTg5OGZmOWM5Mzg2Nmt5cmZ4bzE3d2tidjBqN3VpMGdwdWQ3bXYxazYzbnRyYXFheSZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/LfXiiWArYkAMHV7noL/giphy-downsized-small.mp4

    • Have you read this:

"Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life in yourselves"

      John 6:53

        • Do this in remembrance of me.

          Catholics ignore this.

Catholics also seem to believe they must continually eat and drink Jesus to be saved.

          How much? How many times?
When does the magic wear out?
Where does Jesus go when you have a bowel movement?

Shouldn't you eat and drink him a few times a day just to be sure?

Don't go to the Catholic Church to find sound doctrine. They don't have it.

          • Catholics actually partake of His body and Blood in rememberance of Him.

Jesus doesn't say how often to do it, He left that for the Church to decide, but the early Church decided that every Sabbath was good practice. It's too late in the day too look this up, but Jesus said to the Apostles "whatever you loose on earth is loosed in Heaven and whatever you bind on earth is bound in Heaven".

          • You have been deceived. A man claiming the power to change bread and wine into body and blood by ringing a little bell is lying to you and to himself.

It is not necessary for your salvation either way. The Catholic Church is a god unto itself and twists scripture beyond the breaking point.

I am continually amazed at what liers can make people believe.

Peter would not accept anti-Christs in church leadership. GOD does not accept it either.

No anti-Christ can speak for God, ever. Not in Greece, not on his magic chair, not in Rome.

No anti-Christ is holy. None are worthy of having his ring kissed. None speak for God's family. God's family should have nothing to do with them.

        • "Protestants (and us Baptists) ARE NOT cannibals, and that quote is taken entirely out of the context by which Christ spoke! Quote the entire paragraph, at least, moron!!! Even then, you probably cannot understand Jesus' point!!

      • Ok Mark, have you or anyone you know actually eaten Jesus' flesh or drank His blood? I know I haven't. Jesus is in heaven and won't be back until God, the Father, says so. So we have communion and symbolically do so with the wafer and grape juice. Just like you. If you want to go further than that with it, that's fine, but shame on you if you believe I'm not saved because I don't believe just like catholics do.

        • The theology on the Eucharist goes back to the Apostolic days, such as the Didache circa A.D. 70. There is at least one carving in the catacombes of a person holding up a round object in his/her hands in the same way that Catholic do during every Mass.

          • All christians take part in communion Elisa. It is a time for praise and offering of thanks for making us a part of Him and His family. As a baptist, I realize I am symbolically stating and showing that I am a follower of Jesus and He is an active part of me when I partake in eating the wafer and drinking the grape juice. I don't think telling myself that it is the literal body and blood of Christ makes it any more meaningful, much less that a priest or a pastor could make it so.

      • And many walked away upon hearing these words. Jesus did not call out, “No, wait. I meant the bread and wine are just symbols!”

  18. Catholic Charities receives BILLIONS of dollars in payments from the U.S. government, in particular for resettlement efforts.

    • I personally witnessed them, processing Muslim after Muslim after Muslim .. Christians were not allowed.

      • This is in preparation for the great amount of conversions of Muslims that will be forthcoming.

A Catholic friend told me just 3 weeks ago that she was outside a Catholic parish and middle-eastern guy came up to her and said "I am Muslim and want to become Catholic" and then asked where could he go to start the process.

  19. "what has become of a Church that still calls itself Catholic Christian but, in essence, no longer is."

Get the facts straight: Paganism fully took over in the 4th Century, bringing in the "Dark Ages"!!

    • If you don't know or understand European or church history in the Late Antique/Early Medieval period just say so.

      • Up to 50 MILLION "heretics" (by YOUR definition, actually TRUE Christians), were murdered (beheaded, burned at the stake, drowned, etc.) over the intervening centuries by your blood-thirsty "popes"! WTH do you think the phrase "Dark Ages" came from???? Hint: it was a catholic cult event extending from AD 450 to AD ~1620!!!

Think about the 1 million Albigenses Christians murdered by pope "Innocent" III (NOT!) in France, for instance!!

  20. Everyone should know by now that for every godly thing in this world there’s a satanic counterfit shadow, it’s tiresome.

  21. If Archbishop Vigano has need of a Bodyguard, Please get word to him as I would Willfully serve to protect him. I am not that hard to find. Bring on those who would dare to harm him. I Pray God shield him from the Evil which has overtaken the Church.

  22. Peter was married to a woman, Paul gave instructions to Timothius and Titus that an elder/bishop/pastor was to be the husband of one wife and have control of his children and rule his own house well, for if he can’t do those things how can he lead the church!
God thru Paul stated that twice! Why would he define that so explicitly to just say, “Ah, I was just kidding, you can’t get married any more!” It sure would have saved a lot of alter boys, and nuns and unborn babies that have been dug up in churches with nunneries.
The One True Church is not the RCC, but consists of ALL who have confessed with their mouths the Lord Jesus, and believed in their hearts that God raised him from the dead. Jesus specifically stated that the Law and the Prophets were until John and since then the Kingdom of God has been preached. That was before Jesus called any disciples. Paul stated that Peter was the apostle to the Jews and that HE, Paul was the Apostle to the Gentiles and that he magnified his office or stewardship. (Luke 16:1-6 Jesus tells us about the office of steward!)

    • The topic of this story is NOT whether or not the Roman Catholic Church is legitimate or not, but about the inner struggle between the faithful orthodox and the wayward leadership they suffer under. Yet every self-righteous protestant and Catholic-basher cannot restrain themselves every time there is a story about the Catholic Church and takes it upon themselves to change the subject and post inane comments like yours, as if anyone is actually going to convert to whatever "true church" you belong to because of your comments in this section.

If someone wants to post a story about the Church not being the One True Church–that's quite another thing, but get ready, because well-educated and informed Catholics will take your flimsy arguments apart–easily.

      • you could start right here defending your faith, so what's in your way? Start debunking CisGinger's post right now.
I post usually when some catholic starts saying the catholic church is 'the one true church', as though the one I attend isn't a church and I'm just a pagan, along with everyone I know.
Sorry, but I don't think He wants us to turn the other cheek when someone misrepresents His Word.

        • You can click on my image and go into my archive and read my defenses from countless other debates when "experts" log in to pontificate about the Catholic faith. I am not going to engage it any more of it here, because it is NOT the topic–and THAT is my point. All of these people who are apparently insecure about their faith seem to have some need to take the mere mention of the Catholic faith as a signal to start proselytizing against it rather than focus on the issue discussed in the article.

If you think that listing the sins of various Catholics over the centuries is somehow an argument that the teachings of Jesus and His Church are invalid–that doesn't fly. EVERY religion has its people who have failed and if you want to start digging into the failures and hypocrisies of various protestants and their founders, we've got plenty we can heap upon that pile too. There has been sexual abuse, graft, simony and sinfulness aplenty in virtually every denomination you can name–but you'll seldom see THAT in the news, because only denoucning the Catholic faith sells. But again, that is wasting what these commentary boxes are for.

          It's old, old and tiresome.

          • no, actually I comment mostly when some catholic puts protestants and baptists down as though we are pagans. And when they start that ‘The Church’ stuff as though you hold the keys to heaven and we aren’t allowed I feel the need to say something, mainly because they are flat wrong.
As for sins of the past, we all could forgive that. If we weren’t around we aren’t responsible for it. But there’s a lot in the rcc past that is still here. And believe me, if the msm finds something to bleed they’re on it. They brought down a great pastor at a church I used to attend. A youth pastor was fired for paying too much attention to the young ladies and was fired, not transferred. He ended up in prison. But years later one of the ladies brought it up again and the storm on the news got to be too much and he just retired. One of the best pastors I ever had the privilege to listen and learn from. So, it’s everywhere. Just not covered up in all churches. When the rcc actually turns over all the evidence against priests to the local authorities and they go to prison maybe some of the criticism will end.

    • The babies discovered in mass graves at former mother and baby homes (such as the Tuam facility in Ireland) were infants and toddlers who had been born alive, not unborn fetuses.

Born Alive: Historical records and excavations indicate that 796 (or fewer than 200, per some historians) babies and toddlers were buried in a disused septic tank behind the Bons Secours home in Tuam between the 1920s and 1960s.
Not Unborn: These children were born to unmarried mothers who were forced to give them up.
Church Context: While eaves-drip burials at medieval churches often involved infants who died before or shortly after birth (and sometimes unbaptized children), the specific mass grave scandals involving nuns and unwed mothers in modern Ireland refer to post-birth infants who had lived for some period of time.

Bearing false witness is a sin.

      • Yes God is not going hold YOU guiltless for lying!

From : The Dark And Morbid Secrets Found In Most Colonial Nunneries by Isabel Carrasco September 28, 2018 in History on CULTURA COLECTIVA website.

My father always told the story in which he had the chance to see what was below these ancient and imposing colonial buildings. According to him and some of his brothers, they adventured into the undercover passages of their hometown when they were altar boys. Passing besides tons of documents and objects that could have a huge historical value, they saw some sort of recipients that contained what they assure were human remains; remains of newborns or fetuses. My father has always said that it might have been the impression of the place or just the air of adventure, but he was sure he had seen that despite the fact that many told them they had got it all wrong.

The truth is this is not just a story of one single kid. In fact, this story not only replicates all over the country, but in all the countries where the Catholic church used to rule. There are many cases of secret passages found under important colonial churches, convents, and monasteries that were used for many reasons. In most cases, these were made in order to take the nuns and priests directly to the church so that they wouldn’t have contact with the outside world. However, there’s been another theory, for more than a century, that states that these passages were in fact used by nuns and priests to fulfill their carnal needs.

Abused nuns reveal stories of rape, forced abortions
        Jun 11, 2019 6:35 PM EDT

Another scandal is engulfing the Catholic Church. At a time when the Vatican has taken its most concrete steps to address a long ordeal with sex abuse and coverups, a growing chorus of nuns is speaking out about the suffering they have endured at the hands of the priesthood, including rape, forced abortion, emotional abuse and labor exploitation. Special correspondent Christopher Livesay reports.

This week, Catholic bishops are meeting in Baltimore to discuss the priest sex abuse crisis in the American church and will vote on measures to hold themselves accountable.

Throughout the church, the Vatican has put in place new rules on reporting abuse, the most concrete steps the Vatican has taken to counter the crisis.

Most of the attention has focused on child victims, but as special correspondent Christopher Livesay reports from the Vatican, now, in the MeToo era, there's a growing chorus of nuns speaking out as survivors of abuse as well.

The Catholic Church Has No Moral Argument on Abortions
After the pope revealed nuns were forced to get abortions while being held as sex slaves,
the Church doesn’t seem well positioned to lecture on what women should or should not do with their bodies.

These were just a few I found by searching: June 2019 Catholic Priests in Baltimore discuss priest abuse of nuns and forcing abortions

        • Your first argument: Unverified stories.

Your second argument: Newsweek(because I believe everything Newsweek publishes, just like you)A story about two nuns that came back from a mission, pregnant.

Your third argument:(USA Today, NPR, The Guardian, France 24, NY Times. Again any other time you’d dismiss their propaganda.) They have the same agenda as you.

Your fourth argument: An opinion piece from Harpers Bizaar no less.

Is anything that you’ve sited a part of Church doctrine? Is it a part of the Canon? Also, I only replied to the specific comment “unborn babies that have been dug up in churches with nunneries.” My response has nothing to do with what you just posted. You have not backed up the babies being dug up in nunneries once in your response.

Bearing false witness is a sin, and now you’ve done it to me.

  23. May our Almighty Father in Heaven bless Abp. Vigano. May the Holy Spirit guide Pope Leo to abandon his modernist delusions.

  24. This Pope is a marxist communist supporter, he was SELECTED to be Pope, he wasn't even on the short list of who they were supposed to consider.

Just like Kamala when she took the democrat party ticket, no one voted for her to lead the party, just like with the Pope.

  25. The Lord never intended to create a 'Universal' church run by men. But he did intend to create a true church based on the inspired word as given to his servants through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

He intended the church to be subject to his word. Not the word to a universal church.

  26. Thee commies hijacked it long ago. Evil preaches tolerance , until it is dominant. Arch Bishop Chaput, I believe .

    • Bella Dodd, a former Communist, testified before Congress in the 1950s. She said the Communists infiltrated into the Catholic Clergy starting in the 1930s. Bishop Sheen had a lot to do with her conversion.

  27. Karl Marx is their god now. The wretched person calling for murder of entire class of people, their culture and aspirations.

    • I'd be very careful about speaking with such certitude about people you know little or nothing about.

      • Da comrade commissar of NKVD , I repent before The Party and Supreme Soviet of the sheeple for my heretical beliefs.

      • Will you change your mind when the RCC fully embraces Islam (Chrislam)? Or will you go down with your mother ship?

        • Jesus promised that "…the gates of Hell will not prevail against my Church." The Church is built to withstand bad leadership. We have over 270 popes, some great, some good, most so-so and a few downright awful. We've survived them all. We will survive this.

          • You don't know?

Well, it's not anti-Christs who pretend to be holy and pretend to speak for God.

I think in your heart, you do know, and you refuse to accept the truth because those you trust were deceived before you and passed on the deception. Perhaps many of them were and remain unaware they spread false doctrine and false teachings.

How can I not yearn for their repentance and long to see them accept the free gift of salvation? I most certainly do. For they are NOT the one true church.

The one true church is what Jesus said it was. It is those of us who have been redeemed. Bought with a price. Born again into the body. We are God's children and no one can take his children away. Not even Satan himself.

          • Benedict 16th said "perhaps the Church muset become smaller".

I personally cheer the departure of stiff-necked people from the Church who won't listen to Jesus.

I am reading that a large % of the young people becoming Catholic are traditionalists. It is also known that the traditionalist parishes (that reject Vatican II) are growing greatly. Our traditionalist parish has lots of young people in the pews.

          • Unfortunately, if they aren't listening they aren't christians anyhow. But it's great that the youth are looking for Jesus. I will admit, when I was young I was running away from discipline and submission. And I paid for that mistake with a lot of hard lessons. Maybe they sense that the world is controlled by satan even if they don't know much about him yet. And they may sense the end times are upon them.

  28. Which Church are we talking about here? The one that killed millions of alchemists and practitioners of magic for being witches and warlocks for over a 1000 years, and made the Great Example the Master Jesus into the Great Exception and a martyr? Or the church of King James of England that wrote their own Bible and eliminated countless books during the apocrypha some 500 years ago? Or is it the church that took the Old Testament, (Hebrew Gematria) and turned Yod Heh Wah Heh into the Angry God Jehovah? Or is it The Church that took The new Testament (Greek Gematria) and turned The Master Alchemist Jesus into The one and ONLY Son of God Martyr who died on the cross for your sins (because your incapable of absolving your sins yourself because you don't know you're an alchemist, and that's what Likeness and Image means, and that's why you have to follow their caste system and let them control you), of today? Or is there any hope that we can finally acknowledge that The King James Bible, or any Bible void of its Gematria has become the modern day Tower of Babel? If you think this post is blasphemy then you know which church is yours. If you think this post rings true-Shalom and La Chaim

        • My Church is the Communion of born again followers of Jesus Christ over all space and time.

You’re correct that you are not in my Church, because your support the fudge packers and pro-aborts running your “church” every Sunday.

  29. I can sum up the Vatican's leadership in one word, "Leftists." The secular Pope kneels before Big Green and worships Karl Marx before Jesus Christ.

  30. The Catholic Church has become what Christ fought against and who eventually prosecuted and executed Christ.

  31. Benedict was the last Pope. The impostor who now poses as the Vicar of Christ is continuing the work of his communist predecessor with the goal of aping the church. One has to wonder how someone can sell their very soul to the devil.

  32. If you really want to know what happened at Vatican 2 council and what disastrous consequences it had for the Catholic Church, read the book “Windswept House” by Fr. Malachi Martin. He was killed for publishing this book due to his revelations of what happened behind the scenes.

  33. 69 and have listened to this man speak many times.A great human being in todays times. Many young people joining the Catholic Church needing help and moral direction. The Pope better get his shit squared away and wake up or big problems.Blood shed and violence in Europe with the un educated who will not follow directions and leave the young women alone. That day is here

  34. The two largest by far organizations at the S Border instructing illegal immigrants in how to best take advantage of the American tax payer were/are 1) Isreal and 2) Pope backed.
When Mike Benz was covering the Darian Gap he commented in amazement just how large the Jewish Faith NGO facilities (and to a lesser extent Catholic charities) were. It’s ironic that the migrants Isreal and this Pope want imported into America are the same people that would be prohibited in a Jewish community. One must therefore assume that our BFF ally is MIGA-only and effectively importing chaos and cultures detrimental to the unity of our country. Any statement of true mutually beneficial alliance is that of a Trojan Horse. And the Pope, along with Kushnar’s Father in law are both captured by promises of Power and or money… money that most often comes from the citizens of the captured country and laundered back to the selected-not-elected necessary leaders empowered to conform to the goals and desires of their own captors.

  35. Excellent article! I am not Catholic but I have followed Monsignor Vigano for many years. This man has great integrity and deserves your attention and prayer. The Papacy has deviated from its primary goal of reflecting the Gospel and has become just another communistic devotee of the enemy, determined to promote itself against the very Power that established it. But we all know that the Catholic priesthood is riddled by pederasts and pedophiliacs and Vigano’s opposition to such practices has placed him squarely in the gunsights of the previous Pope Francis, who excommunicated Vigano, and this current poor excuse of a Pope, Leo Whatever. Monsignor Vigano deserves the prayer and support of ALL Christians who can discern right from wrong. The current Catholic leadership is unable to do so.

  36. I know neither man. God knows both men. Hopefully God brings both together for the good of his church.

  37. No, "sensational developments" are not in store. That's not how the church operates. Leo will ignore Vigano completely forever. THAT is how the church operates. The church is busy committing suicide. Only the Second Coming of Christ (apart from His daily return in Transubstantiation), will save it.

    • Wrong. Just as the Catholic faith forbids divorce, the protestant mentality of abdicating and separating and becoming our own authority to found our own "new true Church" isn't in the Catholic DNA. We stay, we suffer, we work, we restore. The Church has had ridiculous and bad ideas foisted upon it before and we rejected and survived. We will continue to do so.

      • Your so called " Church" has been the inculcater ( and indoctrinator) of Marxism for centuries now.

You don't do anything but work to keep all of that in place and operating against most of the world that ISN'T Marxist/communist… THAT is what is in the Catholic DNA.

And… like the Protestant movement … Catholicism has lost its way a long time ago.

And let's remember the "Church" served as an insitutional / almost industrial scale operator of organized Pedophilia for centuries as well. It probably is still in operation as such.

"Priests Commit No More Abuse Than Other Males"
"Protestant Church Insurers Handle 260 Sex Abuse Cases a Year"

  38. ”Are sensational developments in store?”
Sadly, the answer would most likely be “No”. Look, instead for Leo to ignore it. Socialists always ignore what is inconvenient or indefensible.

  39. Reminds me of the Apostle Paul's letter to the Galatians. He had to correct Peter and some other Apostles about their message of the gospel to the circumcised.

      • Paul chastised Peter letter to the Galatians. For avoiding gentile christens to eat with the Jews.

        • It was the erring gospel message that Peter and the other Apostles were portraying to the uncircumcised. Salvation is not by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus apart from the law.

Peter and the other Apostles to the circumcised were misleading the uncircumcised into believing observance of the law is required.

  40. The heirarchy of the Church, adorned like the Sanhedrin in the robes of officialdom, appear to be pretenders to the faith instead of defenders of the faith.
They defend the modernist, leftist appropriation of St. Peter's "Ladder of Virtues" (faith, goodness, , knowledge, self-control, perserverence, Godliness, agape, and love) to promote godless lust, acceptance of demonic ideologies, and any Socialist flavor of the day.
They have forgotten their mission to spread the Gospel, cast out demons, and feed their sheep with holiniess and piety.
Archbishop Vigano is a voice crying out in the wilderness against a Baalist "Deep Church" that immolate themselves with a thousand cuts when their fires fail them.
May the Angels and Saints strenghthen AB Vigano and the Church against too many false prophets and the "Deep Church".

    • I have a question. Do these RCC higher ups ever read THE BIBLE? I know they differ on their reams of rules added TO the Bible. Jesus said, "You must be born again". Do any of these RCC folks ever, EVER preach THAT? Or is it all pomp and circumstance and vain repetition? Are popes even Christians?

  41. That's why you should join the Orthodox Church. They can trace their roots back to the original Church in Jerusalem – 2,000 years of apostolic succession.

    • NO, they cannot!!!! The "Orthodox split" took place in AD 869! Or I guess it took them 800 years to figure out their mistake!!! I'm not, and have never been catholic, but I can tell you that!!! World History, particularly of the Roman Empire, is a great teacher, and should be studied before trying to make sense of the catholic cult over the centuries!! They remain Roman PAGANS even today!!

  42. • Vatican II was 66 years ago.
    • The Church is mostly lost.
    • The same bishops who installed Francis, a.k.a. Pope Marxist I, signed off on Pope Marxist II, a.k.a. Leo XIV.
    • Only a overarching Western, Conservative, anti-Globalist revolution CAN SAVE THE WORLD.
    • Red China is moving to consolidate.
    • We must STOP THEM, starting by not inviting them and their (our) money in.

  43. Anyone seriously interested in Christianity needs to learn about the Gnostic Christians before the Roman’s perverted Christianity and turned it into a control mechanism. Lots of info on YouTube. Liber soul is good. While you’re at it look into the Ethiopian Gnostics Bible. Hundreds of Christian’s have died by the hand of the Roman Catholic Church. Archbishop Vigano is poking an adversary of enormous proportions.

    • Try as many as 50 MILLION Christians may very well have died at the hands of the catholic popes over the centuries!!! The "Dark Ages" was entirely the RCC taking over from the Roman Emperors, keeping Rome alive!! Why do you think they call it the "ROMAN" catholic (universal) church?? PAGANISM entered the church at Nicaea (original spelling) in AD 325 from Roman Emperor Constantine taking over the church and declaring himself the equivalent of a "pope" aka "Vicar of Christ" and "Bishop of Bishops," PAGAN titles later inherited by the popes under Emperor Phocas, and still used by the papacy today! The RCC is as PAGAN as it gets, having embraced the Babylonian (later, Roman) pagan religion!

  44. 80% of the US Bishops and Cardinals are registered Democrats. I'm not saying they should be Republicans or something else, but voting for the Democrat agenda is almost entirely incompatible with what we have always assumed to be Church teachings.
Keep an eye out for mischief. The Vatican Bank is alleged to be stuffed with South American, particularly Venezuelan drug money. Francis made some kind of secret deal backstabbing Chinese Catholics with the Chinese Communist Party. The Vatican is also a party to the mass illegal immigration to the west which is overwhelming Europe with Muslims who hate Catholics. The Vatican is up to its neck in the illegal hordes invading the US under Biden.
The time has come for Catholics to start making demands and cracking down on the hierarchy. They are supposed to work for us as our faith leaders and they are failing badly. We need to introduce the idea of clerics being liable to be fired for their New World Order crap.

  45. Its time to break rank bois. DISSOLVE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH NOW! Either speak the truth or go down in flames with the rest!

    • The Catholic Church ain't going no where, it has survived 2,000 years of corruption and scandal and it will survive until Jesus returns, because it's His Church…remember He hand picked Judas.

      • Pull your head out! Good grief! The only church that's real includes all believers.

  46. The sins that Vigano complains of are even worse than the ones that Luther posted in his 95 theses.

The problem is that these sins of Roman Catholicism are features, not bugs.

Any intellectually honest assessment of the murderous, sexually immoral popes of the past would admit this.

Even Roman Catholic sources admit that homosexual / pedophile priests make up an estimated 25-50% of the priesthood.

Do you know where your priest's hands were before he handed you eucharist at mass?

Both Commie Red Francis and Leo the cowardly lion OPENLY accommodate the Lavendar Mafia, especially pervert priest Martin, and both have bent over backwards to protect pedophile priests for decades.

It's been said that the Vatican itself is overrun by homosexuals and that it is an open secret in Rome as to who their "boy toys" are.

This is precisely what you can expect from a cult that engages in "doctrines" of demons.

How can you remain under such corrupt leadership??? You might as well be under the lesbian "archbishop" of Canterbury!

Come out of this abomination and place your faith in Christ Jesus, and Him Alone.

    • have you read any of these articles yet? You can find them on the Internet:
"Evangelical Sex Abuse Record ‘Worse’ Than Catholic, Says Billy Graham’s Grandson"
"Legal Experts Warn Evangelical Sex Abuse Record Is Ten Times Worse Than Worldwide Catholic Scandal"

"Protestant Church Insurers Handle 260 Sex Abuse Cases a Year"

      • No, I'm not into propaganda like you Roman Cathaholics are.

But, the difference, of course, is that I would never remain in a "church" that was "led" by depraved pro-LGBTQP, pro-abortion creatures like you have, notably Commie Red Francis and Leo the cowardly lion. (Not to mention tens of thousands of homosexual / pedophile priests.)

Your "holy father" "fruits" are OPENLY pro-abortion and pro-homosexuality. They embrace communists, Leftists, and sodomites, while striking down the few Roman Catholics who call them out for it.

I could go through a long list admitted to by even Roman Catholic sources like LifeSiteNews, e.g. Francis calling Biden "a good Catholic," Leo backing radically pro-abortion Durbin for a "life" award, both embracing sodomite priest Martin, the Lavendar Mafia mass in the Vatican, but you are so deep into that cult that you would deny it all.

The salient point is that you REMAIN in a cult hat has been PROVEN to be overrun by such demonic creatures. How can you possibly do that??? Jesus Christ despises child sacrifice and homosexuality!

That's why I said that you might as well be "led" by the pro-abort lesbian "archbishop" of Canterbury, since she is at least honest about her beliefs.

  47. Vigano for Pope!. He has been great in reflecting the the true tenets of the Catholic Church and his challenges to the "liberal " church. He is respected by all traditional Catholics.

  48. Vigano is a really gutsy guy to continually confront corrupt Catholic hierarchy the way he has been doing. He's also up against globalist NWO leaders on both sides of the Atlantic who want neutered Christianity.

Other reformers in the church, both Catholic and Protestant, need to target the electorate with the truth because a substantial number of them who call themselves Christ followers keep voting for the Democrat Satanist Party.

From a 2024 Pew Research Center poll (5. Party identification among religious groups and religiously unaffiliated voters):

Percentage of Catholics and Protestants Who Vote Democrat/Lean Democrat
    White Catholics= 37%
    Hispanic Catholics = 60%
    Black Protestants = 84%
    Hispanic Protestants = 45%
    White nonevangelical Protestants = 39%
    White evangelical Protestants = 14%

This is significant because, although the religiously unaffiliated in America comprise the majority of those who vote Democrat, there are 53 million adult Catholics and 120 million adult Protestants. The total adult population in our country is 250 million, according to the latest U.S. Census, which also counts the number of noncitizens in each household. And you know that illegals always vote Democrat.

  49. you all dont understand do you? Rome is the seat of the AntiChrist – research what the founders said about the Jesuits, understand why we DID NOT allow them an embassy here, until Regan betrayed us with that free mason protestant graham! Learn why the reformers all called ROME the seat of the antichrist, finally learn that all suggestions on who is the coming and past antichrst both come from the Roman Church. Understand finally why in the book of Daniel the forth "diverse" beast comes out of PAGAN ROME< and then notice the title of this system "The ROMAN Catholic church".

  50. Fr. Malachi Martin said that in 1963, after Vatican II, Satan was enthroned in the Vatican. Pope Paul VI said the smoke of Satan has entered the Church. They infiltrated within to destroy within. The Commies, who work with Satan.

  51. Archbishop Vigano is rock solid in his faith. Every single thing he writes and has ever written is a breath of fresh air to read. Every actual Catholic knows he is correct.

  52. Vigano is correct. The leftist communist priests have been nipping at the ankles of the church since Vatican II.

  53. Hoft pathetically attempts to frame Vigano as a faithful servant when he is merely another schismatic reprobate.

He does not hold himself subservient to the Pope and demands the Church and Pope mold to HIS designs. He has a foundational lack of charity — a literal wolf in sheep's clothing.

Until Vigano repents of his heresies and comes back to the Church, his quibbling and critiques are best left falling on deaf ears.

    • Nobody has explained to any of us, much less to Vigano, what his "heresies" supposedly are. Yet both Francis and Leo have been photographed bowing to South American pagan idols.

      • Read the declaration on the Vatican official website — it’s plain as day and translated to English.

Rejection of authority, rejection of a dogmatic council, and schism.

He’s basically a modern Martin Luther.

        • Except that Vigano has sworn allegiance to the pope, doctrine, dogma, tradition, scripture, the catechism, all of it, while Francis enthroned a statute of Martin Luther in Paul VI Hall, a Pachamama in St. Peter’s, and a painting glorifying Judas Iscariot in his own office, while Leo has sworn allegiance to all if Francis’ heresies. Yeeeeah, who’s the schismatic?

          • No, you are uninformed. Vigano rejected the former Pope's authenticity and authority, as well as rejecting the Vatican II Council.

The schismatic is the one who leaves the barque of Peter and tries to teach lies contrary to the teachings and authority of the Church. You don't understand how heresies are defined and applied. You as a layperson and Vigano do not have the authority to claim yourself as a higher authority and call someone else (especially a Pope) as a heretic.

The scandalous acts the Pope Francis committed does not ipso-facto turn him into a heretic, and it most certainly does not relieve him of his Papal authority.

Vigano's drastic approach to move things as he wanted in the WAY he wanted is what landed him outside the Church. He is a veritable and formally declared schismatic.

          • Your little assertion and covering your eyes and ears then saying “we’re done” is about how I’d expect a childish mind like yours to defend itself.

You are ignorant about Canon Law and how hierarchical and authoritative decrees are defined and enforced, and it shows.

Vigano left the Catholic Church all on his own.

“Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò was excommunicated by the Vatican on July 5, 2024, after being found guilty of the canonical crime of schism. The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith declared the penalty latae sententiae (automatic) due to Viganò’s public refusal to recognize the authority of Pope Francis and the legitimacy of the Second Vatican Council.

Consequences of the Decree. As an excommunicated member of the Catholic Church, Viganò is prohibited from celebrating Mass, administering sacraments, or holding any ecclesiastical office, though he retains his title of archbishop and has not been laicized (defrocked). The lifting of this censure is reserved solely to the Apostolic See.

Background and Context. The penal process concluded after Viganò refused to appear for trial or submit a defense, stating he did not recognize the tribunal’s authority.”

          • No, I’ve been paying very close attention to Vigano and the Catholic issues he’s addressing. You are hiding your eyes while Pope Leo installs pro-homosexual and pro-abortion bishops in various positions thinking the laity are just gonna eat it. Well we’re not. Just like we got rid of Roe v Wade by raising pro-life pro-family voters to choose the president to choose the court, likewise, we are raising pro-life pro-family men to fill the priesthood. No matter what Leo does, that’s all you’re gonna get for future priests pf the church. The lavender lefty game that is momentarily suffocating the church is over.

          • Absolutely nothing you replied with countered what I presented to you.

Vigano is excommunicated and is a schismatic. He left the barque of Peter and asserts his own religion apart from the authority of Christ’s Church and her Magisterium.

No Catholic should entertain his ramblings, since he refused to stay within the Church. Treat him as any other Protestant.

          • 100% of it did. Francis “fired” both Vigano and Pavone for the sole reason that they are both pro-life, pro-family. Of course any pro-life priests shows up a pope who is neither. That’s why they crucified Christ in the first place. I don’t know who you are, but I smell sulfur on you.

          • You’re brainwashed. I literally quoted the reasons Vigano was excommunicated. It was the Dicastery of the Doctrine of the Faith, and he wasn’t “fired” — he was FOUND GUILTY of the CRIME of SCHISM.

Now you’re devolving to ad hominem argumentation against me since you have nothing substantive left to stand on. It’s embarrassing for you, and I recommend you actually learn your epistemology before trying to present yourself for public discourse… You’re only making yourself look foolish.

          • What you quoted was merely the church version of lawfare. Pro-abortion Francis was the smarmy verbal chameleon Obama was, but Leo was very clear. No Catholic is allowed to even discuss the evil of the intentional slaughter of innocents in the womb without first eliminating the executions of all adult convicted murderers in the world. This is in direct conflict with the Lord Himself in the gospels, who forgave those who murdered Him in His innocence, but declared that it would be better for those who harm a child to be cast into the sea with a millstone around tied around their necks. So the laity isn’t fooled by the lawfare crap. We know exactly why Vigano and Pavone were cast aside. Solely because they remained pro-life after the pope(s) told them not to be.

          • Completely off topic. Stop setting up a straw man to tear down in attempt to win an argument I’m not involved with and deal with the issue presented.

Is Vigano excommunicated from the Catholic Church for denying the legitimate authority and lineage of the Papacy, as well as denying the authenticity of the Second Vatican Council? Is Vigano a schismatic who left the Church because of his heresies? Should the Catholic faithful be listening to and following the lead of a heretic and schismatic?

          • Vigano was “excommunicated” by Francis for refusing to become pro-abortion like Francis. You are ridiculous for calling that “denying legitimate authority”. Francis had no authority to impose pro-abortion policies on anyone in the church.

          • The Dicastery of the Doctrine of the Faith excommunicated him for those very reasons, not “excommunicated” but ACTUALLY excommunicated. Vigano is outside the Church now.

You keep injecting this ridiculous notion that it had anything to do with abortion (and your assertion that Francis was pro-abortion is libelous and a calumny).

Francis never imposed pro-abortion policies on anyone and that is, again, a straw man. Stop attempting to derail the topic.

Vigano is a proven schismatic and criminal that got himself excommunicated from the Catholic Church for his words and actions.

          • It’s not ridiculous at all. It’s exactly what happened. If Leo thinks he’s going to force a sham canonization ceremony for commie pro-abortion Francis down then church’s throat, he’ll be in for quite a shock. The laity won’t put up with it.

          • You seem to have a problem with rightful authority, just like Vigano, King Henry VIII, and Martin Luther.

The Church already canonized unworthy people in modern times into the list of Saints, but it’s not an infallible declaration.

Canonizing people as saints does not guarantee they went to heaven, it just relieves burden of punishment for those wishing to pray to them and ask for intercession through them. Nobody is forced to pray to them or recognize them privately as saints, no matter how scandalous the canonized individual may have been.

Again, this is completely off-topic. There needs to be a resolution to the initial contention, so please stop bringing up straw men to argue with.

Do you yield to the fact that the Church rightly excommunicated Vigano for just cause? Do you yield that the faithful have an obligation to not entertain and be swayed by the rantings of a schismatic and heretic regarding truth and morals?

  54. They'll have plenty of time to discuss these things in eterity.

Read your bible and run from religious cults.

    Mark 1v14-15 or Hebrews 10v31

  55. While Leo XIV may possibly consider an audience with Archbishop Vigano the Vatican bureaucracy will be telling him that a meeting would be ill advised because too many of them like where the Church is headed. Vigano asks too many hard questions that the bureacracy doesn't want discussed.

  56. The former and present Pope and most in the Vatican despise this GREAT man as he speaks the TRUTH! God bless him!

  57. It's just awful that he did not mention that the USA needs to deport 100 million illegal immigrants.

  58. It’s a shame what happened to Vigano and I wish him well, but this seems to be promoting the myth that the traditional Catholic Church was good. Different, yes. Good, no. Their history of chasing down heretics aside, let me provide just one doctrinal example below: the traditional church’s teachings on marriage and family.

The traditional RCC’s rabbit farm theology is the pinnacle of bad sexual ethics. It treats people like they are soulless animals without individuality, and women primarily pay the price for that. It reinforces a misogynistic society and church where men are meant to run the world and women are support for the men in that process. A woman’s place is in the home and by her husband’s side when outside the home. She is to “submit” to her husband. It’s her duty to stay home barefoot and pregnant, caring for child after child while the man goes out and works and manages all external affairs. She cleans, she cooks, she raises the kids and she pampers the husband when he gets home from work. And she caters to his sexual needs.

The traditional RCC even had this concept of marital debt, made reciprocal, but obviously intended for men. And the idea was that whenever a man felt aroused, it was the woman’s responsibility to provide services. It’s like a recognition of a loveless marriage where two people have an arrangement to provide designated gender services. And that is proven by the fact that the traditional RCC routinely married people who didn’t even know each other. As long as man and woman were willing to come together in a lifelong commitment to provide contractual gender services and start a rabbit farm and remain obedient to the Church, all is good. Per the traditional RCC, the primary purpose of marriage is to have children. Despite more recent attempts in the last century to sugarcoat it with Catholic commentaries speaking of love, marriage is not about a man and woman coming together out of a god-given love which then inspires them to have one or more children. It rather emphasizes the rabbit farm aspect of that. Their core teaching remains that purpose of marriage is to have children.

Indeed, until recently the church even forbade birth control altogether while requiring the couple to regularly have sexual relations absent few exceptions. That turns the woman into essentially a baby making machine. Although motherhood is an important part of being a woman, it indoctrinates girls into believing their core purpose in life is to be a mother and wife at the exclusion of anything else that doesn’t go along with it. So, while boys in school can dream about what career they’d like to pursue outside the home when they reach adulthood, the girls were groomed to complete basic education and prepare themselves to marry a man. So the indoctrination, should they accept it, essentially strips away their individuality and instills in them that they are meant to serve a support and child rearing role.

Meanwhile, the man is free to not only pursue personal dreams and a career, but also be a father and husband. The idea is that he come from work home like one sees in a fifties sitcom with the wife greeting him in her apron with the table set and dinner ready, while everyone in the home looks to him as king. And so it is with the church itself and their patriarchal, hierarchical power structure. Even their fake, satanic Mary is meant to greatly bolster these stereotypes for women and oppress their personal dreams and pursuits in life. After all, they couldn’t possibly take care of themselves. Or if they dared to, they’d be lonely. Because marriage necessitates ongoing pregnancies. No birth control, required regular intercourse, and not even the rhythm method until 1700 years later. So the choice to begin dating was like a conflict with any other personal aspirations. Alternatively, women could devote themselves to church and become a nun and forget about men altogether. Let the commune and the Church be their support since they can’t take care of themselves. Either way, it’s a form of submission.

The traditional RCC’s rabbit farm theology doesn’t take into account the amount of money, space, or dedication it takes to raise ten children or that some couples aren’t cut out to be good parents to start with. If you read more into the history, you’ll find that the Church even used to dictate many particular days in the year where the couple should or should not have intercourse, micro-managing sex.

  59. Vigano is correct. In essence, he says that the Holy Bible means what it says. No loopholes or fine print. Set things right.

  60. as a Roman Catholic, the heavenly sent and administered church is beautiful and miraculous, but it’s earthly administration has been the work of Lucifer himself. Christ is King.

  61. I'm Catholic and I understood about 90% of that, but some or all of those upper echelon academic Catholic terms threw me for a loop. All I know is from my own eyes and ears and heart as a Catholic lay person and they tell me that something went wrong in the Vatican decades ago and they have strayed badly from their mission. It reeks of spiritual corruption having found its way into the highest ranks as if a dark force has been working to pervert The Church from within.

  62. Keep in mind the Roman Catholic Church was never a friend to Orthodox Christians and Jews. In fact they've been a part of the Nazi Reichs since the Holy Roman Empire. All these Empires from the past are still the destructive, controlling, corrupt, and oppressive problems of today!

  63. The quakers akkadians and Christians do not care who they offend with the truth vigano dropping truth bombs on pedo leo

  64. As usual, an article about the Catholic Church has been posted here and, predictably, a number of readers–many of whom I suspect read the headline and ignored the story–have taken it upon themselves to post comments that are not even about the story, but just about how awful the Catholic Church is. So I ask you to consider:

If you are a Protestant and you are convinced the Catholic Church is the wrong pathway, you are not going to convert anyone by anything you post here. If you truly love your Catholic brothers and sisters whom you are convinced are lost, the good example you set with your own life and the love you show will be far more persuasive than posting some list of bad popes or other black legends about the Catholic Church that have existed for centuries (and we've heard them all before anyway). If you are a sincere Christian, wouldn’t your goal be to persuade the Catholic that they are wrong? If so, you won’t persuade anyone by rubbing their noses in the sins of past Catholics. If you are right, you have no need to prove it–God will do so and in His time.

If you are a Catholic and you read some of the slanderous things that Protestants have posted here, you, likewise, are not going to persuade anyone or save any souls by shouting back, mocking them or listing the failures of various “reformers”. If we are right, God will speak to the hearts of those who disagree with us in His time and the best aid we can lend is our good example and virtuous living.

Finally, if you belong to either of these groups and you are angry at the mocking posts of various atheists–don’t take the bait. Quietly pray for them and leave the rest to God. He knows their souls better than any of us and HE will give them what they need in His time.

Let’s all clean our own houses first before we take our self-righteousness to its inevitable failing end.

  65. So do I. I love Vigano. Cardinal Sarah too. If only one of them could have become pope. But that wouldn’t have happened since Francis stacked the deck before he died.

  66. So many have commented that they have abandoned their faith because of the heretics who have seized control. That is like walking away from your mother who is being held hostage by a violent criminal. Find a Catholic Latin Mass (SSPX?), or at least pray your rosary and stay close to Holy Mother Church while this great apostasy plays out. Don’t let Satan take your soul because of all the dirty communists who have infiltrated and desecrated the Catholic Church. Stay with your mother and comfort her until Our Lord returns.
