Mike Lindell press release was upbeat after the verdict was reached in his case in Colorado.
Lindell shared last night from Colorado that he had “emerged largely victorious in a closely watched defamation trial brought by former Dominion Voting Systems executive Eric Coomer.”
Lindell shares,
“While corporate media giants like FOX News surrendered under pressure – paying $787.5 million to Dominion to avoid a courtroom showdown – Lindell took the fight all the way to a jury trial and was overwhelmingly cleared of wrongdoing.”
“this was a huge victory for our country! MyPillow was sued for NO reason and they won! The media should wake up and stop backing companies that rhyme with Dominion”, said Mike Lindell. “Smartmatic, ES&S and start looking at the companies they are attacking like MyPillow is innocent now.” Said a very triumphant Lindell.

He didn’t win. He was found to have defamed the guy and was ordered to pay about $2 million.
Mike was found to have NOT acted with malice and instead acted out of conviction.
This is what I don’t understand. If you actually believed what you asserted to be true, and no evidence shows that you did NOT believe it to be true, then that conviction of truth is as good as the truth concerning defamation and liable.
If you acted in 100% good faith with no intention to harm, then you have not committed any wrong doing.
The jury apparently found that Mike acted from conviction and not malice which is the reason for only 5% recovery.
However, that very reason for 5% recovery is the exact reason why there should not be any recovery.
Glad he’s going to appeal this. I’m sure the other guy is as well.
It can only be defamation if the statements aren’t true in the first place and the person who claimed harm proves reputational or economic damage!! Malice pertains to libel, not slander or defamation. The judge violated Lindell’s constitutional rights by refusing to allow exculpatory evidence that would have shown Coomer/Dominion did exactly what was alleged and was not defamatory. Mike should win on appeal.
Yes and the sad part is most cases never get proven because lawfare knows most people will settle rather than go to trial and testify for eight days and spend millions on lawyers. Lindell is a true patriot.

Libel pertains to statements that are made that are recorded in some fashion — in writing, in a video et.
Slander pertains to statements that are ephemeral, such as speaking them without recording them.
Since almost every statement these days is made on social media, the type of defamation being engaged in is nearly always libel.
Two points for appeal:
the judge arbitrarly declared almost all of Lindell’s statements to be defamatory without any hearing showing them to be defamatory.
Coomer has failed to show what harms were caused to him that justified any loss or ANY kind of payment from Lindell.
Lindell should win the minor victory Coomer achieved on appeal. Once he wins that, he should be able to counter-sue. Hopefully enough people will begin to see that these vote-counting companies are likely too easily compromised and we as a people will get rid of them entirely. Hand-counting ONLY should be the law everywhere.

“Liable” (a civil verdict) not “guilty” (a criminal verdict).
And, don’t count your chest-beating, hateful chickens before all appeals have been adjudicated. The judge made a few questionable rulings regarding evidence that might exonerate Lindell. And, though not part of this case, as more evidence from other sources and/or other cases is gradually disclosed/made public, the accuracy of Lindell’s statements may eventually prove that his assertions were correct. Time will tell.
My Pillow can immediately and independently of Mike Lindell sue Coomer for abuse of process. I hope it does.

My chief concern is the presence of easily manipulated “electronic voting machines” involved in ANY serious vote counting in any election in America! MAKE THEM ENTIRELY ILLEGAL!! Coomers posts convinced me that there should be no Dominion voting machines, or any other brands, allowed in any American elections at all. Paper only with voter ID’s and a nice finger print as well.
