URGENT-Final Vote Hours Away

Brazilian owned, and the world’s largest meat packer, JBS is seeking to permanently cement itself in the American Food supply chain amid scandals of corruption, bribery, rotten meat, human trafficking and more. The final vote is May 23rd. 

Fined For Selling Rotten Meat

Since purchasing American owned beef company Swift & Co. in 2007, it has taken JBS a very short time to become one of the world’s biggest Food companies, and is one of four meat packers that controls 85% America’s food supply chain in the meat processing sector. Owned by the Batista family, Josely & Wesley Batista, admitted in 2017 to bribing as many as 2000 + government officials to allow them to sell rotten meat. They were slapped with a fine as a result.

Allegations of Human Trafficking

If that’s not enough, they are now under serious allegations of Human Trafficking in Colorado. Headquartered in one of the most cattle productive  parts of the world, Greeley, which benefits from the cattle grazing lands of eastern Colorado, western Kansas, Wyoming and beyond, JBS has cornered not only the cattle processing market, but the cattle feeding industry as well. In 2018 JBS technically sold off their cattle feeding business (Five Rivers) but still operates similarly to before, delivering cattle to JBS packing plants, continuing with the same CEO and employees as before the sale. 

JBS May Pose a National Security Threat

JBS, the World’s Largest Meatpacker Prepares To Go Public is completely foreign owned, yet it owns roughly 1/3 of the meat packing industry.

Those on the left are accusing President Trump of sanctioning the move to legitimize JBS because the Trump administration accepted a $5 million dollar donation from Pilgrim’s Pride (owned by JBS) for the inauguration. I can tell you, from speaking to many farmers and ranchers, that is the least of anyone’s worries in these Ag communities and most people doubt the President even knew about the donation. However they know if this company gets on the NYSE, it will mean a huge increase in their already dominant power which everyone expects they will abuse as history shows.
