The days of Chuck Todd spewing liberal Deep State talking points at NBC are gone.
According to reports on Friday:
Former “Meet the Press” moderator Chuck Todd is leaving NBC News after nearly 18 years at the network.
Todd said in a memo to NBC News colleagues that Friday was his last day. He’ll continue doing his podcast and said he’s considering new projects, but offered no details.
He joined NBC News as political director in 2007 and was “Meet the Press” moderator from 2014 to 2023, before giving way to Kristen Welker. The role made him one of the more visible journalists in Washington and, as such, an occasional target of President Donald Trump and his supporters.
Todd never came across as cerebral. He never shared any great truths. In fact, he spewed mostly liberal Deep State talking points. He was very good at that. Unfortunately, time caught up with him and he is now gone from NBC.
Conservative Daily shared the following on Todd’s departure:
[…] Todd said he will bring his podcast with him to his next venture after a brief hiatus. “I do plan to continue to share my reporting and my perspective, and to cover politics the way I’ve been covering it,” Todd said. (read more)
