The University of California football equipment manager is in the news.
This past weekend after the game a fan tried to steal a helmet that the equipment manager was guarding. Cal had just beat long-time rival Stanford on Saturday then a fan tried to run off with a Cal helmet. The fan ultimately received the best takedown and tackle of the day.
