BREAKING, BREAKING, BREAKING…Wisconsin Republican Senate Leadership Team Schedules Floor Vote to Remove Current Administrator of Elections

Guest post by Jefferson Davis

As promised, the Senate Republican Leadership Team has scheduled a Floor Vote to remove the current Administrator of Elections on Thursday, September 14th, 11:00 A.M., Senate Chambers, 2nd Floor, South Wing.

The vote will occur for Item 7 ADVICE AND CONSENT OF THE SENATE in the embedded Agenda at the end of this update.

So many individuals and organizations have been working tirelessly for the last nearly 3 years to address this major component of election administration through restoring election integrity for all Wisconsin voters by having the right person in the position of Administrator of Elections.

We must preserve and protect our constitutional representative republic and Wisconsin’s 10 Electoral College Votes through the proper administration of elections.

Now is the time to come together as election integrity supporters to show our support and appreciation for the Wisconsin Republican Senators for taking this courageous step to do the right thing by removing the current Administrator of Elections on September 14th.

Please, Please, Please make every effort to be at the Capitol on Thursday, September 14th, 11:00 A.M., Senate Chambers, 2nd Floor, South Wing.

The Senate Chambers Gallery is very limited in seating.  The doors to the Gallery typically open about 30 minutes before the Floor Session starts.  There will be plenty of room for all of us in the hallway off the Senate Chambers to hear the historic vote and show our appreciation and support.  No signs, flags or banners in the Senate Gallery, but they are permissible in the hallway outside the Senate Chambers.

We are planning a brief Press Conference on the west side of the Capitol on State Street to get out in front of what the democrats will do to demagogue this vote.

Press Conference will start at approximately 9:45 A.M.  Due to the late notice from the Senate Calendar Posting, we just requested approval from the Capitol Police.  Either way, we will meet on the west side of the Capitol on State Street.

We must control the optics, narrative and news cycle to squash any attempts of the democrats to control and confuse this process of appointing a new Administrator of Elections through the brief review of State Statute 15.61, what the word “vacancy” means, a quick peak at SR 3, how Senate Rule 22 works and how Robert Rules of Order treats someone who abstains from voting.

Packets will be given to the Press/Media on all of these subjects so they are at least given a chance to print the truth.

More details on what the next step is in finding a new Administrator of Elections once we get past Thursday!

Please, Please, Please attend on Thursday!  The Senators have shared publicly and privately that us showing up has a big impact on their vote!

See you Thursday!
