An investigation by the Election Fairness Institute has uncovered millions being laundered through ActBlue to Democrat politicians using “Magic Mortgages”.
The Gateway Pundit reported in December of 2022 that Democrats were using voter donor mules to launder money to Democrat candidates.
It turns out that millions in donations were sent to candidates like Raphael Warnock from “money mules” around the country. Warnock was the top beneficiary of all 2022 Democrat candidates of this money distribution scheme.
In April 2022, engineer Chris Gleason began working on his first data project involving elections. The project was tied to the 2022 midterm election. This was unique for Chris because he had been involved in tech and data for the majority of his adult career although he never used his expertise on a political project.
The goal was to determine who was most likely to vote for which candidate and how likely they were to support particular candidates and causes.
What he and a small group of others determined was that Washington State had a massive network of campaign finance mules. They identified massive numbers of registered voters in Washington State who were making thousands of donations to Democrat party candidates nationwide and progressive PACs. The individual donation amounts were not large. These donations were small and had been intentionally set up to avoid throwing up reg flags.
…One of the biggest flags was that all of these campaign finance mules in Washington State had been making donations to Raphael Warnock in Georgia.

The Election Fairness Institute Identifies “Magic Mortgages”
The Election Fairness Institute (EFI) began an investigation into donations like those reported above funneled through ActBlue. They are now reporting that ActBlue’s massive political war chest appears to have been generated by a series of fictitious sales through off-the-books cash funds.
The Election Fairness Institute (EFI) has identified a money laundering scheme, known as “magic mortgages,” involving ActBlue, a major political fundraising platform. This goes far beyond “smurfing.” Senior Research Analyst Shawn Taylor discovered 422 identical contributions made on June 30, 2023, to a Tennessee State Representative via ActBlue, with many donor addresses and phone numbers found to be invalid.
This led to identifying the potential source of the money.
Key Findings:
1. ActBlue’s Origins: Established on May 1, 2005, ActBlue appears to have generated
significant funds through fictitious real estate transactions involving off-the-books cash.
2. Suspicious Transactions: Public records reveal inflated property sales linked to several
multimillion-dollar transactions across multiple properties in California and Texas.
Transactions often involved multiple “sales” on the same day with private cash lenders,
raising red flags for money laundering.
3. Timing and Impact: These transactions coincide with major election cycles, potentially
channeling funds to influence federal elections and circumventing McCain-Feingold Act
safeguards against soft money contributions.
4. Data Sources: Research utilized professional data services like LexisNexis and Experian,
alongside public records from county offices, to confirm findings with high confidence.
5. Implications: The scale and pattern of these transactions suggest potential violations of the
Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020, warranting further
investigation by the Department of Justice for campaign finance violations, tax evasion,
and possible ties to bulk cash smuggling.
The EFI has examples where funds in the billions were funneled to political operatives.
