An election worker in Orange County, California is caught on camera shoving a large batch of ballots through an election machine three times. What is going on?
Orange County, California is a large conservative county just south of LA. There were six US House seats voted on in this county. A month after the 2024 election, 5 of the 6 seats were awarded to Democrats.
Right after the November election, a request for help at the county voting center was posted. There was a need for assistance at the county to prevent an election steal. President Trump shared this article on Truth Social.
At about the same time on the Friday evening after the election, there was a bomb threat at the election counting facility. The Orange County Register reported the following.
Rebel News reporter Sarah Stock was on hand and she reported that poll observers were removed from the facility before the election workers after the police were made aware of the bomb threat and arrived onsite.

Two weeks later, the counting was nearly finished and the GOP was crushed in this conservative Republican County. Only one out of six seats in the US House of Representatives was won by a Republican. Districts 45, 47 and 49 all ended up in the Democrat side. These were close but the Democrats pulled out the wins after two weeks of counting after the election.
The Republican was winning the 45th District for days after the election. Then she got beat.

In three other seats (the 38th, 40th and 46th seats), only one Republican won. This winner was Rep. Young Kim who is no MAGA stalwart. She voted to remove MTG from committees, for example.
We identified huge issues in the results in the county in early December. There were 325,000 more ballots issued in the county (2.1 million), for example, than there were individuals on the voter rolls (1.8 million). This was explained away by the county by claiming that these were individuals who voted in person and were issued two ballots, one in the mail and one in person.
California’s Uncertifiable Elections
We reported that in California 3.8 million non-citizens are included in the state’s voter rolls (out of 22 million). In addition, California still has ballot harvesting where anyone can hand in ballots in the election or drop them off in drop boxes.
Since California went to ballot harvesting the results have been devastating for the GOP. Heritage reported in 2019:
Vote harvesting is the collection of absentee ballots from voters by a third party who then delivers them to election officials. The term “vote harvesting” was essentially unknown to the general public until the North Carolina State Board of Elections overturned the results of the 2018 election for the Ninth Congressional District due to illegal vote harvesting, what the board called a “coordinated, unlawful and substantially resourced absentee ballot scheme.”
It was also raised as a concern in California after the unexpected losses of Republican-held congressional seats, including in Orange County, a traditional Republican stronghold, where the registrar of voters said that individuals were “dropping off maybe 100 or 200 ballots” at a time.
Not only is it almost impossible to determine where a ballot came from, it is also impossible to determine who the ballot came from. Local governments in the state couldn’t ask for ID’s from voters.
California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed legislation that prevents local governments from requiring voters to present identification at the polls, a law aimed at curbing conservative efforts in cities like Huntington Beach.
In addition, the voter signature review on ballot envelopes returned is virtually non-existent. Per a discussion with workers in Orange County, workers were reportedly instructed to accept all signatures on ballot envelopes even if they didn’t match.
Another Orange County Issue
Now we can add another issue to the pile of issues identified in Orange County, California and California as a whole in the 2024 election.
We reviewed video footage from the Orange County’s ballot counting facility of Friday night, November 8, 2024 in the evening. During our review we identified an election worker shoving a very large batch of ballots through an election machine three times.
We don’t know if there is a legitimate reason for the worker’s actions. But the worker pushed the same batch through the machine three times. (Each ballot is to be counted only once.)

The real shocker of this entire episode caught on video is that this all occurred after Orange County received received a bomb threat and before the workers were removed from the ballot counting facility.
This all occurred at the time the counting center was under a bomb threat!

Greg and Leah are awesome. I saw them on your show again Wednesday. The elections are supposed to be run by state and County. But when it involves Federal elections I would hope federal investigators and prosecutors can get involved. That lady stuffing them ballots should be arrested and charged along with a whole lot more of other. Can’t say it enough, if we don’t get the elections system fixed nothing else will really matter. Couple other thoughts, that you’ve talked about both of them before. Why do the Republican candidates concede so fast. And I get so tired of hearing them say well that’s who they keep voting for. Well they probably don’t keep voting for these people. They win by cheating.

The answer is “Yes.” This video shows an Orange County election worker scanning a batch of ballots three times, but only saving the batch once.
This is shown at the 1:25 mark of the video you posted when following her third scan of the batch of ballots a batch report printed from the printer at the end of the table, which she then attached to the top of the batch of ballots. This batch report did not print the first two times she scanned the batch of ballots, meaning she did not save those scans.
She likely scanned the batch of ballots twice and then cleaned the scanner before scanning the batch of ballots a third time because during the first two scans some of the ballots were rejected by the scanner. Given the large number of vote-by-mail ballots we must scan during an election, we must regularly clean the scanners.
We complete quality checks and audits to ensure ballots are only counted once, including:
– Other Orange County election workers will later quality check the batch two additional times, making sure the ballots in the batch match the information printed on the report. Ballots are not uploaded into the tally until these two reviews are completed.
– Before I certify the results of the election, we audit the results of each of the 171 contests on the ballot. The audit is conducted by randomly selecting one percent of the precincts in the county (23) and then selecting additional precincts (62) until every contest is included. Then four-person audit teams hand count every ballot in those selected precincts. Our audit teams hand counted about 40,000 ballots for this election. These hand-counted results are compared to the voting system tally to ensure the results of each contest are correct. You can review information about these audits on our website at ocvote.gov/audit.
