The second F-15E crewmember was rescued today in Iran after the extraction team survived a massive firefight.
CDM reported tonight on the rescue of the second F-15E crewmember in Iran. According to their sources with knowledge of the situation, the second F-15E crewmember shot down over Iran has been rescued. The ground team who found the pilot has also been exfiltrated.
More and more reports indicate multiple fatalities among Iranians attempting to reach the area where the missing U.S. F-15 crew member is allegedly located, reported regional press.
It also seems there was a major firefight to retrieve the pilot.
A major search and rescue ground operation by U.S. special forces is underway, establishing a deadly perimeter around the area.
This is consistent with our sources today that shared shortly after noon eastern time that the second U.S. F-15E crewmember had been located, but he needed extraction.
Later, we heard about major clashes between US Army Special Forces and IRGC Ground Forces being reported in the Milas mountain of the Rig Mountains in Charmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. USAF CSAR teams located the second crew member of the downed F-15E and were attempting to rescue him. Their aircraft and helicopters are under small and heavy arms fire from the IRGC, Basij militants, as well as nomad fighters.
USAF fighter jets involved in the rescue operation of the second downed F-15E crew member bombed multiple IRGC and Basij convoys in Dehdasht County, Iran.
Reports indicate heavy bombardment of Kuh-e Siah near Dehdasht, with explosions so powerful they were felt in Landeh, Margoon, and Choram. Power outages have been reported in parts of Dehdasht.  Initial casualty reports confirm at least 4 killed and 4 wounded following the strikes.
