The WNBA is a disaster. The second most popular player in the league, Sophie Cunningham, joined her teammate Caitlin Clark on the injured list on Sunday.
Sophie Cunningham was knocked out of a game on Sunday after an opposing player rolled into her knee. Cunningham is arguably the second most popular WNBA star behind her teammate Caitlin Clark.
The officiating in the WNBA has been horrible these past few years and probably for a long time. This allows events like the injury on Cunningham to happen.

The WNBA players have become the most petty and jealous group of women ever assembled. It looks like Cunningham was targeted. Many blame the leadership in the WNBA who allow this to happen.
I wonder if Cathy Engelbert and the WNBA “leadership” are aware that their inability to police their league may have lead to the end of Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham’s career.

Caitlin Clark, who is still out with an injury after missing most the season, was a target of the women in the league and when she went out the target became Sophie Cunningham.
Here was an attack on Clark earlier this year before she went out with an injury (the first time in her career since at least high school to miss a game).

After bringing so many new fans to the game with her incredible play, the players in the WNBA decided to attack and brutalize Clark. It was targeted and many believe racist, but nothing was done.

Sophie has already addressed the hit on a podcast and she said it was basically an accident. She said that Bria Hartley and her were friends and that she did not intend on hurting her. Sophie said that she would go under the knife later this week or next. She said that she would be back playing next season. Steve
