EXCLUSIVE: FBI Admits Its Custody of Crooks’ Body on AGR Building Roof All Night

Kash Patel and Danny Bongino, the number one and two at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have, for the second time, gone public with the agency’s conclusion that the alleged Butler, PA shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was the lone shooter. Okay. But they refuse to release the FBI investigation of the attempted assassination and that’s a problem for a number of reasons.
First, despite numerous investigations, including a Congressional Task Force, a Secret Service investigation, a Senate Investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police and others, none have provided any information about how the alleged shooter, who “acted alone,” was identified on the AGR Building.
Recall that the alleged shooter’s body lay on the AGR Building roof all night until 6:30a.m. the following morning. Then, when the Butler County Coroner, William Young III, finally was allowed to go on the roof and conduct his death investigation and identification of the body, it’s anyone’s guess which law enforcement agency had custody of the body all night…until now.
Coroner Young has never made public his investigative notes about how he identified the body – the method – and why he was turned away at midnight when he first tried to make identification of the body and told to return the following day. Who gave Young those orders? More importantly it’s odd that the body would lie on the roof all night.
Does the public trust that there wasn’t any funny business going on? Would Patel and Bongino believe that there wasn’t any funny business? It must be said that even Patel and Bongino in their former lives, who questioned every single FBI investigation, would have been having conniptions about this odd turn of events. Afterall, it isn’t every day that the dead body of a would-be presidential assassin is left at the crime scene all night.
Then, of course, there is the fact that Patel and Bongino provided this “exclusive update” to an unknown Fox News podcaster? Yep, Brooke Singman got the scoop, despite many others who could have actually asked legitimate questions about the FBI investigation. People like Miranda Devine of the New York Post who just last week outed the FBI for failing to report on the alleged shooter Crooks’s online presence. Of course, if you don’t want to have any serious questions asked Singman is the way to go.
The “unprecedented interview” did not provide one piece of physical evidence to the public to support the “lone gunman” conclusion. Patel and Bongino whined that “we have reviewed this case over and over – looked into every nugget…” All the nuggets except what was recently revealed by Miranda Devine?
Moreover, Patel and Bongino assured Fox’s Singman that “the case currently sits in a “pending active status” but “if we get a credible lead, we’ll continue to investigate…” No. That’s not what Patel and Bongino told Maria Bartiromo when Fox’s financial host interviewed them in May of this year. The Director and his Deputy told Bartiromo that the release of the Butler PA investigation couldn’t be released because of two pending court cases. Bartiromo did not ask which cases were holding up the release. Now, it’s about the case being in a “pending active status?”
Patel and Bongino gave a few specifics about the investigation including that “every device in the home was collected and accessed fully.” Good, does the alleged shooter’s father’s phone reveal the exact time and location he made the call to police about his son having a rifle and not returning home from a day at the shooting range? Has the FBI used the alleged shooter’s phone and pinged it to know exactly what Crooks’ movements were the entire day? This would be helpful information to know that Crooks’ phone is in step with his actions that day.
When it comes to physical evidence, Patel and Bongino explain that the alleged shooter Crooks used “a 223 rifle, fired eight rounds in the vicinity of the president.” That’s it. How about the head of FBI and his second answer the most important question… do the recovered projectiles match the alleged weapons? Did the projectiles recovered from Crooks on the roof match the sniper’s weapon? Did the alleged shooter’s projectiles pulled from other victims and area match Crooks alleged weapon? The FBI would have conducted these tests. Why not provide that detail?
Further, Patel and Bongino explain that there was “an undetonated explosive inside Crooks’ vehicle.” Which vehicle? Why not say the make of the vehicle? Maybe because there’s a second vehicle in question that had explosives in it at the rally? Remember local police impounded a white van with Arizona license plates that the owner of the van never returned. It had explosives in it. Were there two vehicles with explosives at the rally? It appears so. Why didn’t Patel and Bongino address the second vehicle with explosives?
So, the most interesting information that was provided by the honchos at FBI is that according to Patel and Bongino, the FBI controlled the crime scene from July 14, 2024, at midnight until July 18, 2024.” Good to know. So, who in the FBI turned away the Butler County Coroner at midnight on the 14th forcing the coroner to make the identification of the alleged shooter’s body at 6:30a.m.? Why? Why would the FBI allow the body to lie on the roof all night? What could be the purpose?
It’s interesting that Patel and Bongino are sure that every nugget has been reviewed but failed to address the alleged shooter’s body lying on the roof all night. Rather, the top law enforcement officials explain “Crooks’ body was removed from the roof by the Pennsylvania state coroner…in coordination with State Police…” No. That’s wrong. The Butler County Coroner removed the body and had it transferred to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.
Patel also explained that all information had been turned over to Members of Congress investigating the shooting. That’s not true. Contrary to Patel’s statement “there isn’t some trove of documents that we haven’t sent over there,” there actually is a trove – an investigative trove that should be made public, including all DNA, fingerprint and ballistics data. Those reports are imperative because neither Patel nor Bongino have ever reported that the recovered projectiles match the appropriate weapons. Let’s see the ballistics tests.
In fact, it no longer matters what these officials say. What matters is what is found in the FBI investigation. Release it and let the chips fall where they may. The public doesn’t need interpreters. The public can figure out the information provided in the investigative reports.
Patel and Bongino can no longer hide the FBI investigation behind court cases or its “pending status.” The top officials have gone public with the details of the FBI’s investigation and it’s a lone gunman so it’s time to let the public see the investigation.

I religiously listened to Bongino's podcast every day when he was on-air. I trusted him to say the quiet part out loud. They're not doing that now. To say the least my trust is shaken. This doesn't smell right. These questions need to be answered and the files released.

Bongino was a NYC cop and then a SS agent prior to his appointment as number two in the FIB, so he’s got to be very aware of the possibility of being extorted. Certainly, if ‘someone’ issued threats against him or his family he has the resources to protect everyone and bring those threatening him to justice.

I have always heard that the coroner is the top law enforcement agent in a county even above federal.
Actually it is the Sheriff of each county who is the highest law enforcement officer.
And he can only be fired/neutralized by the Coroner.

The sniper had him in his sights, while the would-be assassin was aiming a rifle at the crowd and the president. Sniper protocol allows the shooting of such an individual; you don't have to wait for them to shoot.

That's the crux of the whole mess. He should've been shot as soon as the supposed sniper saw the rifle. If he was attentive, he could easily have seen him when he was aiming the rifle. He could've have drilled him in the noggin before he fired any shots.

I thought I was reading something from the NYT for a minute. Seems this article completely avoids pointing out who actually started the investigation, ordered the body cremated and hosed off the roof before a real investigation could be conducted.

Who cares that the body was up there all night, who cares that some field agent probably told the coroner to come back tomorrow, it doesn't mean anything. Patel and Bongino were not in charge when this happened they reviewed the evidence they had what more do you want from the crime scene? Security failures are more common than you think and there were plenty here. If you want an investigation look into Crooks parents and the cell phone data as to who was visiting their home leading up to this.
It means much, since the chain of possession of the body is not documented, and the body was a key piece of evidence.
AND that isn't some "slip up". That would have been done ON PURPOSE.
Whatever coverups and evidence tampering occurred, was well before Trump and any of his appointees took office. They can “know” plenty, but if the evidence is gone and the underlings are tight-lipped, then there is nothing for Patel or Bongino to report or act upon. And they are both smart enough to know better than to run their mouths about what they think, now that they are in job positions where doing so could be disastrous. It’s that simple.

Although it seems odd to leave the body in place overnight, I'm not sure how this would facilitate a coverup. There is some value in keeping the body exactly where it was, because so many shots were fired before the Secret Service sniper was able to line up the shot and take out Crooks. It's reasonable to ask why it took that long to return fire. It's also reasonable to ask how Crooks was so incredibly lucky to choose the one viable building that wasn't assigned to either police or Secret Service. How did he know there wouldn't be someone on the rooftop waiting for him?
They had to wait for the drugs in the body to decay before allowing any blood or tissue samples to be taken.

I've read a lot of books about the JFK assassination, and all the way back in 1963 the Secret Service's primary concern was any elevated area, which was completely ignored in the Crooks assassination attempt, so it is really hard to believe that no one noticed that anyone could climb up on that roof and take a shot at Trump. (The motorcade route was through downtown Dallas, and the reason they went through Dealey Plaza is because that is the only place in that part of downtown you can get on I-35 N., the entrance of which is right past the famous "triple underpass")

Crooks' drone up the exact time Fed's drone is down, trained with the Feds in DC, ballistics show there was another shooter, many saw Crooks on the roof but ignored, mostly flat roof "too dangerous" for SS, roof scrubbed body cremated, Crooks' house scrubbed, "no social footprint to MASSIVE social footprint, Blackrock connection as was Routh etc etc etc…
They either botched another investigation or are lying (again) about the assassination attempt. Most likely, they are covering up incompetence by the FBI and Secret Service. In my lane: Ive never heard of a coroner being blocked from the scene. In most states it's illegal for anyone to move or search a dead body except in exigence circumstances. He was already dead and no exigent circumstance existed. Very strange.

Recording evidence, measuring distances, angles, comparing photos to actual placement, etc etc etc takes time. This delay in removing the body is one of the only things that seems normal.
Not normal was: why was the roof not secured? Why did the sniper not take the guy out as soon as he saw him? Why were multiple loud warnings by people on the ground, who saw Crookes, ignored? How did Crookes get a rifle inside the supposedly secure area?

After photos were taken of the shooter, his juxtaposition was determined, and the body should have been removed for immediate ID and autopsy. NO good reason to leave him rotting all night.

Butler was an Inside job that failed, and like the powers to be from 1963 to today are still protecting OUR Government!!!!

What happened to Maxwell Yearick? Was one of those vans owned by his company in Arizona? Why was the roof sprayed down, wiping away any possible DNA evidence? What about the cell phone tracking that showed a connection between Crooks and FBI headquarters. Who was he talking to on his phone? Why was he allowed to run a drone? Why was the patrol covering the roof pulled? On and on it goes and it stinks.

Audio analyses of the 8 shots reveal a deliberate regularity to the first three rounds – and a muted report, while the last 5 reports were sporatic; the 5 latter reports featured the metallic sound of the rifle's cycling "action", but the first 3 did not.
Was the open second-floor window to Crooks' right the Grassy Knoll? If a sniper were to set up 6-8 feet back from an open window with a line of sight to the target, the report would necessarily be muffled enough that the sound of the semi-automatic rifle's "action" would barely escape the room. You can't "match" a rifle bullet to a gun like you can a pistol. A pistol caliber is unique: 45, 9mm, etc. And the bullets move much slower so they can pick up the grooves in the barrel allowing them to be matched to a particular pistol. Several rifle calibers use the same bullet. Lots of things shoot a 22 sized bullet. Ditto with Charlie Kirk's assassin's gun. It was a 30-06. Lots of different rifles, like a 308; all use 30 caliber bullets. There are lots of questions that need answering, but these aren't some of them. Patel, Bongino, and Bondi should all be fired. They've done nothing good while screwing up so much. Like the Comey and James indictments that just got dismissed. They have to make everything airtight as anything they do will face maximum legal and MSM opposition. They've utterly failed.

Who says Trump isn’t interested? He’s not obligated to voice what he’s thinking on the topic. This would be one of those private things that people keep to themselves. Since this occurred prior to Trump taking office, the coverup henchmen would have been of the Biden admin., not Trump. If the evidence was scrubbed before Trump even took office, then there is nothing there to be revealed. It’s really that simple.

One of the most damning pieces of evidence is almost never mentioned. Minutes before the shooting commenced, photos and videos show a Secret Service anti-Sniper team on the roof of the building behind where Trump was speaking. So what, you say? Well, the photos clearly show both of those Secret Service Agents looking though their rifle scopes…WHICH WERE POINTED RIGHT TOWARDS WHERE CROOKS WAS PERCHED.
