60 Minutes will never change. Their script always reads the same.
60 Minutes had two prosecutors on its show this week who worked in the cases against the Jan 6ers in DC. The prosecutors complained that they were fired by the Trump Administration.
The script from the 60 Minutes interview reads like these poor prosecutors who did their job were sadly removed from their positions at the DOJ for doing their job prosecuting violent Jan 6 rioters from four years ago.
60 minutes then shows a scene of Capitol police in riot gear in an altercation that day and states that something like 140 capitol police were injured that day. (60 Minutes neglects to point out that over 100 of these injured capitol police were classified as injured when they had some type of tear gas affect their vision for a period of time that day. 60 Minutes attempts to push a lie that all 140 were injured by violent Jan 6ers which is not true.)
Julie Kelly makes that point that the prosecutors being interviewed by 60 Minutes were temporary hires who were made permanent after President Trump won the 2024 Election.
These are the sort of gremlins J6ers had to fight in court.

It’s simply stunning to see how they lie with ease. They were not fired for “doing their jobs.”
They were temporary prosecutors on Capitol Siege unit who were made permanent after Trump won. Trump DOJ busted the scheme and dismissed the temporary hires.
Also—note how the 100% conviction rate is supposed to demonstrate the strength of the evidence rather than a rigged, biased process that involved jurors in the most Democratic city in the country.
These two aren’t even employable at the local DMV.
