Missouri’s Jackson County Central Committee, under the Chairmanship of Mark Anthony Jones, during a fund raiser a Senate State Candidate was arrested for Assault
On June 15, 2024, at the Jackson County Central Committee Headquarters, Police responded to a call related to an assault and verbal disturbance.
The reporting officer states:
“Upon arrival I [reporting officer] witnessed five to six people outside the Jackson County GOP building all highly agitated. I [reporting officer] was contacted by Ms. Carolyn Caton [candidate for State House of Representatives] who advised Mr. David Martin [candidate for State Senate] had just assaulted Ms. Teresa McBride [Vice-Chair of the Jackson County Central Committee] and Mr. Martin then locked himself inside the GOP Building and had taken a female volunteer hostage.”

The reason for the arguments between the candidates and committee members related to Mr. Martin having a Father’s Day appreciation BBQ. The report states:
“During the activity, one of Mr. Martin’s guests clogged the toilet causing the water and excrement to overflow [into the meeting room].”
Shortly after the incident, Ms. McBride, Ms. Caton and Mr. Martin began to argue. During the argument, the report further states:
“Mr. Martin felt attacked by the two women and their husbands as they verbally berated him and his campaign. Mr. Martin was adamant that all of this was a ploy to ruin his campaign.”
The report continues and states:
“. . . during the argument Mr. Martin followed Ms. Caton and Ms. McBride out into the parking lot screaming at them to leave before he punched Ms. McBride in the back.”

The FBI reportedly investigated the activities within the GOP headquarters of the Jackson County Central Committee in the past.
The Gateway Pundit and Joe Hoft.com have reported, as shown by the article link below, on the disfunction of the Missouri Republican Party. Jackson County Central Committee candidate arrest is just one example.
Thankfully, Missouri has two elected officials, the Attorney General and the State Auditor, who focus on the best interests of the Missouri citizens.
