While Trump Holds Rallies #WheresHillary Crafts Announcements

Kissimmee Trump crowd

As the month quickly comes to a close, Donald Trump continues to build upon his big lead in campaign events and participants. Through August 25th, Trump has held 29 campaign events in August with an estimated 168,000 participants.  Clinton on the other hand has held only 11 campaign events attended by an estimated paltry 10,000.  Trump averages getting in front of more than 6,400 people per day in August at events while Clinton averages getting in front of only 400.

Overall, month to date Trump has nearly 3 times the number of events than that of Hillary and 16 times the number of participants. Clinton has held 5 of her 11 events in high school gyms which in many cases were half empty while Trump has held his events in arenas and other large facilities with at least 7 of his events (Columbus, Harrisburg, Ashburn, Wilmington, Abingdon, West Bend, and Akron) having reported overflow crowds.

 Trump vs Hillary Attendance 8-26

While the Trump campaign is busy holding rallies and other events throughout the day to promote their candidate, the Clinton campaign has a different approach. On the many days where Hillary has not held a campaign event, the Hillary campaign produces statements and announcements from the campaign on various topics to make themselves feel busy.

On August 6th the Hillary Campaign released a statement on the 51st anniversary of the Voting Rights Act.  On the 9th the Hillary campaign announced a response to Trump’s comments and on the 13th the campaign re-released their announcement from 2015 on Hillary’s medical records.  On the 14th they provided a statement on the Social Security Act Anniversary and on the 21st they announced Hillary had penned an essay for Teen Vogue.  It is unknown if anyone has read any of these announcements let alone all of them.  Odds are that it is highly unlikely that Clinton herself has read any of these announcements as well.

Hillary Clinton

In a surprise yesterday, the Hillary campaign held an event in Reno which was attended by only around 400 people (many of them union members) where Clinton accused Donald Trump and his fellow Republicans of being racist.  The surprise was not that a Democrat used race baiting as a political tactic but rather that Clinton held an event, since it had been more than a week since her last rally.

The results of the brilliant Clinton campaign strategy are that the Trump Campaign has taken a 2% lead in the polls.  #WheresHillary is now the #1 trending Twitter hashtag worldwide!

Clinton has spent $257m on her campaign to date to Trump’s $87m. In June it was reported that Clinton spent $23m on ads in swing states to Trump’s $0.  By mid-August Clinton had spent more than $75 million on advertising in 10 swing states to Trump’s $0. Trump has since invested a $5m in swing state advertising.  In spite of spending millions in negative advertising against Trump in highly competitive states like Pennsylvania, Hillary is falling behind in the polls.

Clinton’s Health is Now an Issue after a video of her having some sort of seizure was released that went viral.  She is getting destroyed on social media and there are expectations that WikiLeaks or the Russians may release more damaging Hillary emails before the election.

Based on all the above it is probably time for the Clinton campaign to release another announcement about what, who knows. No one will read it anyways.
