The Loyola-Chicago Ramblers became just the fourth 11th seed in the history of the men’s NCAA Basketball tournament to make the coveted “Final Four” by beating Kansas State on Saturday. The team’s secret weapon is its 98 year old prayer leader – Sister Jean. Behind the sister of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s prayers, the team reached in impossible – the Final Four!
Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt may be in a wheelchair, but she was at yesterday’s game between underdog Loyola-Chicago and Kansas State. She led the team in prayer before the game and watched as her team beat Kansas State in a stunner –
