We now know that Hilary Clinton hid her emails from the government during her stint as Secretary of State, but why?
It came out in March 2015 that Hilary Clinton had housed her official government emails on her personal server. This was in spite of official Department cables sent to diplomatic and consular staff in June 2011 and bearing Clinton’s electronic signature that made clear to employees they were expected to “avoid conducting official Department business from your personal e-mail accounts.”
Mrs. Clinton last week came out on Meet the Press with Chuck Todd and finally answered some questions about her email server scandal. The first subject that Mrs. Clinton was asked to address was why she would go to all the trouble and expense of setting up her own private email server unless she had something to hide. Clinton laughed off the question by asking “Another conspiracy theory?” She never really answered the question. (As pointed out by HotAir, NBC blocked the video clips of her responses because they apparently made Hillary look bad.)
Cleary, Mrs. Clinton doesn’t want the American people to see her emails especially in relation to Benghazi. And, based on her history, she is known to place herself above the law (See Coulter’s High Crimes and Misdemeanors and Peschmann’s The Whistleblower). But more importantly to Hillary, and not in defense of her actions, Obama’s recent slams show Hillary’s clear motive – she really wanted to hide her emails from Obama!
This interview on FOX with American financial author, radio host, television personality, and motivational speaker, Dave Ramsey, is well worth watching. Ramsey breaks down what the universities teach about socialism and counters that what is really needed is good leadership. The marketplace weeds out unethical behaviors and rather than becoming more dependent on the government, the government needs to get out of the way.
As the US struggles with illegal immigration and the related challenges, it is helpful to see how other countries like Hong Kong handle immigration. Hong Kong, with a population of 7 million, handles around 277 million visitors annually. It sits next door to Guangzhou, which is the world’s largest city (when including Shenzhen), with a population of nearly 50 million. Like the US, Hong Kong has found tunnels dug under its border with China, but unlike the US, Hong Kong has a fence to protect itself from unwanted visitors.
The fence and strong border security resulted in less than 1000 Mainland China illegal immigrants intercepted and arrested at the border. No pregnant illegal immigrants were intercepted in 2013 and girls who enter Hong Kong and lie about being pregnant in order to have their children born in Hong Kong are thrown in jail.
Hong Kong has immigration policies in place to attract talent and capital. Overseas professionals who possess special skills, knowledge or experience of value to and not readily available in Hong Kong, or who are in a position to make substantial contributions to the economy, are allowed to apply to work in Hong Kong. It also has e-channel counters which allow legal residents to pass safely and quickly in and out of Hong Kong.
When a massive flow of around 200,000 Vietnamese refugees, or ‘boat people’ entered Hong Kong in the late 1970’s, Hong Kong implemented generous immigration policies that allowed these immigrants to take up to 3 months to find a country of permanent residency. In order to house these people, Hong Kong opened purpose-built holding facilities, called ‘closed’ or ‘transit’ camps. Some of these camps are still visible today. (The Hong Kong government is still in the process of recovering from the United Nations the $250 million tab for handling these migrants.)
The difference between the US and Hong Kong is that the US does not have a fence and therefore an open door for illegals to come into the country. US policies on which legal immigrants are allowed to stay make no sense and illegals are set free rather than incarcerated and sent back to their home country.
Obama has compared himself publically to Reagan and said he thinks he’s led a new Reagan revolution. He’s been hailed on the old Continent as a president with almost European sensitivities and worldviews. But, Obama is more like Communist Hugo Chavez than anyone. Here are 5 examples to support this comparison –
1 Both Obama and Chavez Support Fellow Communist Thugs – Honduran Dictator Manuel Zelaya and the Communist Cuban Castro Brothers
Obama and then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were quick to admonish the Honduran government when former President Manuel Zelaya attempted to take over the country. Zelaya like Chavez attempted to extend his stay as president which was against Honduras’ constitution. Obama supported this dictator rather than democracy.
2 Anti Freedom of the Press – FOX news
According to Human Rights Watch under Chávez, the government dramatically expanded its ability to control the content of the country’s broadcast and news media. Chavez passed laws extending and toughening penalties for speech that “offends” government officials.
Obama does the same when he assaults FOX News.
3 Assault on Critics – Sheriff Joe and the IRS
Chávez publicly called for the imprisonment of a judge for 30 years after she granted conditional liberty to a prominent government critic who had spent almost three years in prison awaiting trial, according to Human Rights Watch. The judge, María Lourdes Afiuni, was arrested and spent more than a year in prison in pretrial detention, in deplorable conditions. She’s still under house arrest.
Obama’s Justice Department raided Sheriff Joe’s Arizona office in July 2014. Sheriff Joe has been outspoken about Obama including holding a press conference to announce the birth certificate provided by Obama to the public was a computer generated forgery. Obama’s IRS targeted Tea Party and other groups critical of Obama.
The numbers of food stamp participants under the Obama administration are at record highs.
5 Government Take Overs
Chavez has a long history of government takeovers of oil, gas, agriculture, power, telecommunications and banking firms. This theft occurred for years in support of socialist policies to keep him in power.
Obama on the other hand stole from bondholders their rights when he bailed out the GM and Chrysler unions. In doing so, the administration created uncertainty in the bond market. Bonds were supposed to be safer investments than stocks. But who would want to invest in long-term bonds if the government could step in at any time and void the legal rights of the bond owners?
(the more this comparison is made the more Obama mirrors Chavez)
The Democrat-media complex is working overtime to paint Barack Obama’s time in office as a success. The administration is even trying to convince Americans that Obama is just like Ronald Reagan. Obama said so himself earlier this month. The far left president said he thinks he’s led a new Reagan revolution.
1 Reagan took down the Iron Wall – Obama created ISIS
Who can forget Reagan saying to the Russians: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall”? Reagan is credited with defeating Communism. Obama on the other hand promised to remove troops from Iraq. As a result Obama created ISIS and now denies it was his idea to remove troops from Iraq in the first place.
During the Obama years, thanks to his big government policies, the US economy has stalled. The US economy has grown an anemic 9.6% during the Obama years (excluding the decline in GDP in the 1st Quarter of 2015).
3 Reagan Dealt with Iran – Iran Dealt with Obama
Obama along with Secretary of State Kerry worked hard to give the terrorist regime in Iran everything they asked for in a nuclear agreement. The US will provide Iran billions while not doing a damn thing about getting US hostages out of Iran.
“On January 20, 1981, Iran released 52 Americans who had been held hostage for 444 days, minutes after the presidency had passed from Jimmy Carter to Ronald Reagan. The hostages were placed on a plane in Tehran as Reagan delivered his inaugural address.”
4 Reagan Created Jobs – Obama Killed Job Creation
Of course, Obama’s record on job growth is also much worse than President Reagan’s record.
Net job growth has declined under Obama. By the end of the second year of their terms as president, economic growth under Reagan averaged 7.1% , under Obama an anemic 2.8%. (IJ Review)
And today, more than five years into the tepid recovery, labor-force participation remains at its lowest level since 1978 during the Carter years.
5 Reagan Bombed Libya and Kept it in Check – Obama Bombed Libya and Gave it to ISIS
Reagan acted decisively when Libya was identified as a country sponsoring terrorist activities. He bombed the Gaddaffi regime when this information was uncovered and vowed to protect Americans around the globe.
Obama on the other hand, bombed Libya when there was no threat and when Libya had committed no recent acts of aggression against the US. Libya volunteered to allow inspectors into the country after the US stood up to Iraq during the GW Bush years. As a result of Obama bombing Libya, ISIS is now in charge of the country and four Americans were murdered in Benghazi needlessly with the perpetrators being labeled rioters and not terrorists.
After six years in office it is clear Obama is nothing like Ronald Reagan. Obama took the exact opposite actions as Reagan and the US and the international community are left to deal with the disastrous results.
Obama has promised to remove troops from Afghanistan, like he did in Iraq, by the end of 2016 around the time he leaves office.
He has told the enemy his timing and they now all they must do is sit and wait until the US is gone.
Since when did winning a war mean anything to Obama or Liberals?
As Obama prepares to remove troops from Afghanistan, here are the five things sure to happen –
Resurgence of the Taliban and/or ISIS
Any sixth grader knows that leaving Afghanistan will create a vacuum similar to the one created when Obama pulled troops from Iraq. But what does this matter to Obama? Why does he not learn? How can he forget that an al Qaeda in Afghanistan killed thousands of innocent Americans on 911?
Multiple Deaths and Beheadings
How can Obama or any liberal be for freedom, individual rights or caring for his brethren when he they hand over Afghanistan to terrorists? Death, murder, chaos, savagery, slavery, pain, terror and suffering are all in the future for the Afghanistan people similar to the hell Obama created in Iraq by pulling troops before creating and guaranteeing peace and stability.
Women Not Just Losing their Rights but Becoming Sex Slaves
How can Obama or any liberal support women’s rights and agree with giving Afghanistan back to the Taliban, al Qaeda or ISIS? Although not yet back to the freedom they enjoyed in the 1970’s when women wore miniskirts in Kabal, after the Taliban were removed from power in Afghanistan by courageous US and coalition troops, women’s rights greatly improved. Under the Taliban women were discriminated against for the crime of being born a girl. After the Taliban were ousted in 2001, “many schools opened their doors to girls and women went back to work. There was progress towards equality: a new constitution in 2003 enshrined women’s rights in it, and in 2009 Afghanistan adopted the Elimination of Violence Against Women (EVAW) law.” When the US troops leave Afghanistan, all this will be for naught.
Taliban 5 Back in the Saddle Again
What are the odds that the 5 demons released for Bowe Bergdahl and all other Taliban inmates released from Gitmo will be back in Afghanistan terrorizing and killing? It was reported that Obama traded the Taliban 5 and $5 billion for deserter Bergdahl. This was the worst deal in US history before the recent Iran deal.
After Afghanistan Quickly Goes to Hell Obama Will be Sure to Deny it was his Idea in the First Place
When Obama was running for reelection in 2012, he repeatedly took credit for “ending the war in Iraq.” Then in August 2014, when he sent troops back to Iraq to fight ISIS, Obama said removing U.S. troops from Iraq was not “my decision.” The horror of Obama’s Iraq blunder will be felt for generations. The same horrors will soon appear in Afghanistan.
Listen to my discussion with Dana Loesch on the Dana Show regarding China’s stock market collapse and its economic impact which follows Dana’s discussion with Presidential candidate Donald Trump about illegal immigration from last week’s show. Hope you enjoy!
Have we ever seen a president more dishonest than Barack Obama? Have we ever seen a president who could lie so often and with such ease? After six years of Obama here are his five biggest and most outlandish lies.
1.) If you like your insurance plan, you can keep your insurance planNumber of mentions: 37 times
As Obama was pushing the tremendously unpopular legislation now known as ‘Obamacare’, at least 37 different times he promised that – If you like your insurance plan you can keep your insurance plan. Even the liberal media could not ignore it. This was lie of the year in 2013. After cancellation letters were sent to 4 million Americans, the public finally realized his breezy assurances were wrong. Above is a montage of Obama repeating this lie over and over.
2.) With Obamacare we will reduce your insurance premiums by $2,500, per family per yearNumber of mentions: At least 22 times
Barack Obama promised repeatedly that Obamacare would reduce your premiums by $2,500 per year. It was a lie. The exact opposite happened. Average premiums have skyrocketed, for some groups as much as 78 percent.
3.) I cannot pass amnesty through executive action… I am not a dictatorNumber of mentions: At least 22 times
At least 22 times Obama said he couldn’t do executive amnesty himself. Then he implemented an immunity scheme via executive fiat. “In bypassing Congress, Obama blatantly ignored the rule of law that is the foundation of our democracy and violated his presidential oath to uphold the laws of this land.”
4.) Not one dime of Obamacare will go for abortions Number of mentions: At least 12 times
1,036 Obamacare plans cover abortions.
In spite of repeated promises that Obamacare would not pay for abortions, it is now clear that Obama lied. The GAO confirmed that Obama lied about this and if fact 1,036 Obamacare plans pay for abortions. In fact, the Little Sisters of the Poor, a group of Catholic nuns who provide care for the poor, were forced to file a class action mandate to obtain a judgment so they could refrain from providing access to abortion-inducing drugs.
5.) It was not my decision to pull all the troops from IraqNumber of mentions: 2 times, maybe more
When Obama was running for reelection in 2012, he repeatedly took credit for “ending the war in Iraq.” Then in August 2014, when he sent troops back to Iraq to fight ISIS, Obama said removing U.S. troops from Iraq was not “my decision.” As a result of this reckless move, thousands of innocents have been murdered (including many beheadings), enslaved, relocated forcefully, terrorized and tortured. The horror of Obama’s Iraq blunder will be felt for generations.
These are just President Obama’s most notorious lies. Earlier this week Barack Obama accused the Pentagon of not providing him with a strategy to defeat ISIS. Another lie. Obama also claimed in the same press conference that he brought the deficit down by two-thirds since he came into office. Another lie. That was just one speech. We still have two more years of this. Two more years of nonstop lies.
After six years of Obamanomics, here are five things you need to know:
1.) Worst Recovery Ever
When Obama’s non recovery is compared to Reagan’s, there’s no contest!
As already noted by the GWP, the Obama economic recovery is dismal when compared to Reagan’s. Ronald Reagan’s economic plan saw GDP surge at a 3.5% clip – 4.9% after the recession. That’s a 32% bump. During the Obama years, thanks to his big government policies, the US economy has stalled. The US economy has grown an anemic 9.6% during the Obama years (excluding the 1st Quarter 2015’s dismal number). With the 1st Quarter of 2015 GDP declining at -0.7%, Obama has the lowest average 1st Quarter GDP growth of any president in history. In addition, using the number of jobs recovered after the recession as the measurement, then Obama’s recovery is the worst recovery ever.
2.) Worst Labor Participation Ever
The labor participation rate since Obama took over has plummeted to rates not seen since the Carter years (see chart above). The Obama regime has set the record for more Americans not working (more than 102 million) than at any time in US history. Obama touts the unemployment rate dipping since his first years in office but all of the decline in the unemployment rate since President Obama entered office has been due to workers leaving the work force, and therefore no longer counted as unemployed, rather than new jobs being created.
3.) Record Debt and Deficits
Currently the US the government has more than $18 trillion in Debt. Obama has nearly doubled the national debt in his 6 years with it somewhere near $9 to $10 trillion when he took office. Per www.whitehouse.gov, the accumulative total for all US Deficits for all presidents combined was $11.6 trillion through the end of 2014. A closer look at the deficits shows that the Obama Administration has accumulated more in deficits in six years than all prior years combined! (Note that the debt and deficits don’t even account for the estimated $205 trillion in unfunded liabilities now owed by the government, much of which has been accumulated during the Obama administration.) How will we ever pay any of this back?
4.) Poverty, Food Stamps and Welfare Programs at Record Highs
Under Obama the poverty rate has stood at greater than 15% for three consecutive years (2010-12), the first time that has happened since the mid-1960’s. A record number of people have been on Medicaid (72 million or 1 out of 4 Americans) and Medicare (more than 47 million Americans) during Obama’s presidency. When Obama entered office in 2009, 31.9 million individuals received food stamp benefits. As of January 2015, 46 million people received food stamps for a 44% increase in food stamp usage since Obama took over and record numbers. Food stamp users had topped 46 million for 38 straight months as of January 2015. (People don’t reach out for food stamps when good paying jobs are plentiful.) Due in part to the increase in food stamps, Welfare spending (not counting social security) reached nearly $1 trillion in 2013.
5.) Assault on the Middle Class
The middle class has struggled since Obama became President. According to Reuters, Federal Reserve survey data show families in the middle fifth of the income scale now earn less and their net worth is lower than when Obama took office. Thanks to Obamanomics the American Middle Class is no longer the world’s richest. In the six years through 2013, that have spanned Obama’s tenure, middle class jobs have been slashed— whether in traditional trades like machining or electrical work, white-collar jobs in human resources, or technical ones like computer operators. Obama’s legacy includes a shrinking middle class.
On Memorial Day it is customary to thank our troops for all the sacrifices they and their families have given for this country. However, President Obama doesn’t seem to see the troops as the heroes they are and his policies show it. Here are three of the worst disses Obama has made towards those who have given their lives for our freedom and the freedom of millions around the globe, in descending order:
2. When our troops caught bad guys rather than killing them on the battlefield the terrorists were round up and sent to facilities to house them and protect the rest of the world from them. Obama has released many of these prisoners but none as puzzling as the five major terrorist leaders released to appease the Taliban into releasing one America-hating deserter. One report even stated that Obama gave $5 billion along with the Taliban 5.
1. In spite of the sacrifice of thousands of troops who gave their lives in Iraq and the peace that finally came as a result, Obama pulled US troops from Iraq as he had promised. He later denied he had anything to do with pulling troops out of Iraq after he decided to place a small number of troops back in Iraq after the country had gone to ISIS hell. Not providing for peace for the Iraqi people after our soldiers had given their lives to build a democracy there was his biggest diss. Thousands of troops remained in Germany and Japan at the end of WWII. Their presence was to keep the peace. These two countries are now great allies and world powers. Pulling the troops from Iraq was probably the single biggest foreign policy blunder by a US President ever and his biggest slap in the face to all Americans and especially our troops.
